Although a short stay, we felt right at home. Lydia was absolutely charming, we arrived late due to traffic but she was patiently waiting for us and made us feel warm at her place. She provided us with local information and we found it pretty useful. I wish we had more time to stay longer. The place was as described and had a fantastic view of the town and the surrounding hills. This is a hidden gem in Taiping.

Thank you so much Agnes for your hospitality❤️ We really enjoy our stay, warm & cozy. The house is clean & well equipped with good basic facilities. The host was very responsive, flexible & helpful. She tried to accomodate our request at her best. Plus point - they allow guests (visitors) to use the swimming pool The only challenge - following the check in & check out times, I feel it's too short duration of stay. Tak puas golek2, bed is soooo comfortable hahaha My small suggestion - it would added more value if you provide microwave instead of induction cooker since you don't allow us to do heavy cooking which we won't anyway when we are on holiday 😊

Pleasant stay, very spacious and could fit up more pax if need to as i can see lot extra matresses stored inside. Easy parking, and it's easy access to most places if you have own transport as Taiping town is very small. Travel distance wouldn't more than 8km from everywhere/town. Easy and fast check in/out, friendly host. The pillows are too soft. There's a mamak stall downstair, little noise to around 11pm as well as access at night, but it's ok to me. For those that can't with stand any noise, might be a little problem.

Raintown Homestay

The place was comfortable with 3 bedrooms with queen bed. No WiFi, but if you’re here for retreat it’s just nice. Just remember to bring your toiletries. The building is facing the whole of Taiping, so you have a really nice view. Overall a comfy stay I would say.

listing looks same with the photos provided. Located 10minutes from most of the attractions around Taiping, i.e Taiping lake. It's spacious and ideal for groups or families with kids. host also provide some simple toys that can keep them occupied, appreciate that! washing machine and clothes hanging facilities available, convenient for staying. Kitchen well equipped with cutlery and basic electrical utensils (steamer, kettle, rice cooker, fridge)

Nice place to stay, clean and well maintained. Host is helpful as well. Condo parking is slightly dimmed and the guardhouse gave the wrong instructions on how to get to the carpark. But good place to stay and recommended!
