.We had a wonderful time at Kim's the house is so beautiful, comfortable and the lake view is fantastic You feel like they have thought of every detail in the house, everything is cozy, inviting, and comfortable, wonderfully adapted for the stay of guests, especially families with children. Kim is absolutely a super host, so kind, friendly, and helpful. He gave us excellent local recommendations and really made our stay unforgettable

Ms. Keiko welcomed us and kindly showed us around the house. We had the whole space for ourselves and could enjoy talking until late night. It was a wonderful stay in very natural surroundings.

It's a beautiful and huge house! The house itself is a fusion of old japanese and western style, well-renovated with great facilities inside. We're surprised that we could get the whole house just to ourselves that night, it felt luxurious! It's also a great relief for us who've walked many days in Nakasendo to get to use the laundry, there's even a nice clothes drying mode in the shower (and the fancy automatic bath!). The lovely town is known for the nice crafted lacquerware, which you could find some in the kitchen to try a local lifestyle. Even though we didn't get to meet the owner, but she's very helpful and even lent us umbrella when we needed to continue our journey in an extreme weather. We love everything of the house and this town, would definitely try to come visit again!

Mr Takashi san was a great host. Very responsive to questions, met us at the train station and walked us up to the residence which a period building on the outside and very modern on the inside. He helped us through the check in provcess and showed us how to use each amenity , which was very helpful. Also since Narai, goes very quiet at night, he helped us find the only restaurant that was open till 7:30 PM. I wholy recommend Takashi-san’s place compared to other places as very nice and cost effective for a place like Narai. One thing I must tell about Narai is that since it doesn’t have many of the stores you expect in other places, you have to do most of your necessity shopping elsewhere.

La estancia en la cabaña de Gaku fue encantadora. Nos hospedamos con mi família y varios pequeños incluidos. Se encuentra en altura con una vista magnífica a las montañas, lastimosamente no pudimos ver el cielo Estrellado ya que tuvimos lluvia y nieve. La cabaña se encuentra en un lugar estratégico si quieres recorrer y conocer los pueblos cercanos para lo cual necesitarás transporte privado. Tuvimos comunicación directa con los padres de Gaku que se mostraron muy amables y listos para ayudar en lo que necesitábamos. Lo recomiendo 🙏

I love every bit of David’s place. It is located in the peaceful neighbourhood of Joēi, which you can see Mt. Fuji on a clear day. The house is spacious and has everything I need to stay comfortably for a month. There are big supermarket and drug store within walking distance, and with the bike David provided, you can go to a large shopping mall and pretty much all living necessities within 15 min. David and his wife Naomi are extremely friendly and helpful. Recommended me good restaurants and also useful tips to get around. I enjoyed my stay here very much. I highly recommend this place to other travellers when you want to escape the crowd and experience Japanese rural lifestyle.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this amazing Airbnb. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. The house itself was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed and felt spacious and homey for our party of 6, which included three adults and 3 children. The children had ample room to play both inside and outside. The house was fully stocked with kitchenware, toys, towels and laundry soap. Highly recommend.
