What a briliant start to a long awaited Cook Island adventure (after a hectic departure - almost didnt make it thanks to airline mess up) Simon picked us up from the airport and then filled us in on the drive to the accommodation, stopping and pointing out places to eat, beach acccess points and heaps more. We d3cided to rent a car for one day as we were only on Raro for 3 and that was a great idea being able to take back roads, stop and start at whim and just feel we got a better sense of the place. We're off to Aitutaki now but will definitely be returning to Rarotonga in the future. Simon and Denise were great hosts...there if you needed with lots of help and hints but certainly left us alone if we were happy. Thanks for a brilliant first impression...they always stick. Excellent location, private n secure, we had everything we needed for our stay! this place is so nice n more then what we expected. Modern, clean n tidy. nice cold air con, ceiling fan, FREE WiFi n netflix, washing machine with all the bits that come with doing your laundry☺️ big balcony w bbq overlooking lush greenery! (loved sitting out there with my coffee watching the sunset) the photos don't do it justice! Maire went above n beyond to the point we had to drag her out of bed midnight to let us in. Hence, why you should use the safety key lock box to avoid this from happening 🫢 Maires thoughtful little touches, fruit bowl on arrival, what to see n do on the island booklets, coffee machine, to name a few, made it so much more welcoming! her comms were 10/10 she would often message to see if we were ok, or if we needed fresh linen/towels & scrap bucket needed to be emptied. overall this place is a steal & we will be back for sure! thank you Maire x

One of the best airbnb stays I've ever had. Tere and family made me feel welcome immediately, and are absolutely fantastic hosts. They gave me great recommendations on where to find good food, the convenience store that's open late, and best things to see and do. The penthouse is cozy and clean, the bed comfortable, and the views are stunning. Enjoy the sunsets from the balcony or the beach, which is a literal stone's throw away. Don't overthink this one. I'd happily stay in the penthouse again, or one of their villas. Meitaki ma'ata, thank you all for an amazing holiday!

Just came back from Raro with my husband and teen daughter. Tara's place was exactly as described, beautiful surroundings, a short walk from the beach, bars, convenience store and night market. The unit offered 2 ensuite bedrooms which was perfect for my daughter. The views are splendid. We used the pool a few times and it was a nice place to chill after coming from the beach or a day out. The place offered everything we needed and Tara was very generous allowing us to check in a bit earlier. Great communication, simple instructions, all you need when you go to a new place where you are not familiar with anything. She also organised our transfers to/fro airport and made our stay a breeze. The car was a great plus and allowed us to come and go freely. Communication with Joy was also amazing during our stay, checking in with us if we needed anything. Highly recommend Tara's place. It made our stay a breeze, like the overall vibe of Raro. Thanks Tara, we'll come back soon :)

Teiana ‘s retreat is peaceful private , lush surroundings definitely a hidden gem . Lynn very responsive host great communication throughout my stay . I highly recommend this beautiful hidden gem .

The house was immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. The beds were very comfortable, pillows perfect and we all slept well. Location was brilliant, yes we had to cross a road to get to the beach but it was well worth it. Amazing beach location, not too windy. The pool was well used, may need a little maintenance (few missing tiles) but as a group of adults that didn’t bother us at all. Internet worked perfectly, water pressure was great! We didn’t use the lounge / Kitchen facilities really but if you want to cool and eat in everything is there. 10/10 from us! Family of 4: 2 adults and 2 x 17 year old boys.

We had a great stay. The location was perfect and so fantastic being so close to the water. We spent a lot of time kayaking and snorkelling on the lagoon and appreciated that there were plenty of kayaks to choose from and other equipment. The deck was huge and also plenty of outdoor furniture for the sun and undercover. Whilst Feb is generally the wettest month we had great weather most days (only a couple of rainy days). Tia was very responsive to any questions we asked during our stay which was great. We will certainly love to come back one day.

We had an amazing time staying here. Such a beautiful setting and only a short walk from the incredible Aroa Beach. We felt very well looked after and really appreciated the complimentary fruit and snorkelling gear. Only thing to be mindful of is that it did get uncomfortablely hot in the hut and you'll need plenty of insect repellent if you're as tasty as we seemed to be. Overall, an amazing experience though and we'd love to stay here again someday.

Thank you to the wonderful Malina! There was nothing that she wouldn’t and couldn’t do for you. Malina was extremely accomodating and helpful. There were no issues with communication, Malina was able to answer queries in a timely manner. Te Rama retreat is immaculate, quite central and close to everything that Rarotonga has to offer. I would totally recommend absolutely suitable for all sorts of groups, families. Totally beautiful and truly one of a kind. X

We had a wonderful stay at Amori Villa. The house is spacious, wonderfully decorated and well situated, with a short drive to a number of wonderful snorkelling beaches, town for groceries and anything else you could want. Our family absolutely loved our time here. Communication from the hosts was excellent and they were always eager to help and point us in the right direction. Thank you for an amazing stay! We hope to be back one day and would love to stay here again!

Joseph and Odette were warm and hospitable. Their place was clean and they were reachable at any point if we needed anything. Gracious hosts, highly recommend.

Tuaine was incredibly friendly and helpful. Home had everything needed for our family vacation and the location was amazing and as described. Happy to recommend this villa - beautiful setting with just a few steps from the deck to lagoon paradise! Wonderful holiday.
