I'm finding it difficult to put into words what being a guest at Cantick Head was like. Magical, inspiring, cozy, peaceful, safe. The cottage is beyond charming. It was tastefully decorated with little bits of history scattered about. It was absolutely spotless clean with comfortable beds and linens that smelled heavenly especially after a day of hiking the nearby trails. A nature and animal lovers paradise. Alan and his family go above and beyond to ensure you are happy. I found the experience to be quite moving and was saddened to leave. Alan is an example of what an outstanding Airbnb operator is and Cantick Head is a top notch accommodation. The price was very reasonable for the experience of being at Cantick Head. Overall, 11 out 10!

The Lodge more than met our needs as a base to explore the northern highlands. The many creature comforts helped to make us feel truly at home. The weather was so kind for the time of year allowing us to make full use of the hottub at the end of long days exploring. Our children couldn't get up early enough to "help" feed the neighbouring Highland Coos. We can't wait to come back next year to see how much they have grown.

Ein wunderschön gelegenes kleines Tinyhaus mit einem fantastischen Ausblick und wunderschönem Garten. Die Ausstattung war perfekt, das Raumangebot für die Größe super. Nach Ullapool ist es ein Weg von ca. 30 Minuten. Problemlos machbar, wenn das Wetter mitspielt.

Stunning location. The ideal get away for peace and quiet. Eimear and Mackie were great hosts and extremely accommodating. Could not fault the lodge, full of thoughtful finishing touches. Will be coming back again in the future. Thanks again. Marc and Gemma

We noticed that the bathroom doors don't close very well and that from the outside the doorknob on the right is loose and you cannot pull on it! And sadly the jacuzzi/bathtub wasn't hooked up... And furthter was the stay amazing, super beautiful location and we loved it!

Had a wonderful week in Moy cottage. Alasdair provided great detailed directions which got us there no bother. We loved the location, beautiful countryside and next to a farm. The house is big and has plenty of space for our family, modern kitchen, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Kids also loved the games rooms. We also enjoyed getting the hot tub fired up!

Probably the best Christmas we have had for a while. All the stress taken out of it by the hosts, the house was beautifully decorated for the season, two wrapped presents and a hamper of goodies. We felt thoroughly spoilt! The cabin is exquisite and we would love to come back. It was wonderful for the dogs too, completely fenced in around the cabin so no fears of escapees! We loved everything about it!!

Every year we pick a new location in Scotland to celebrate my brother's birthday, and this one was one of our favorites so far. The host left many nice touches around the house, including a bottle of Prosecco, as well as some treats for our dog. The location was perfect for us (30 minutes from the Orkney ferry, walking distance from town center, and near some beautiful locations for short walks). Would definitely book this place again.

My husband and I plus our two dogs stayed here for 3 nights and it was perfect for exploring the Highlands. It was easy to find/get inside and was so comfortable and cosy with the fire on in the evenings! Just in case anyone has very small dogs - there were a couple bits of the fence where our dogs (small terriers) could possibly get under so we kept them on a lead at times just to be sure. We had literally everything we needed and would absolutely recommend and stay again!

Mark’s cottage is easy to find in a great location and it was spotlessly clean and cozy. The cottage has everything you could need. We travelled with our two small dogs and they were made as welcome as ourselves. The welcome bottle of wine was as much appreciated as the dog treats- thank you!! Mark was super helpful and friendly - full of proactive helpful hints and very responsive to any questions. We very much enjoyed our stay and can only recommend the cottage and Mark as a host.

Myself, husband and son had a great wee stay at this delightful cottage. It had everything a holiday home should have from accommodation and facilities right through to the added touches of a pint of milk and a loaf of fresh bread. Thank you for being so helpful throughout our stay with all our questions being answered promptly. We would not hesitate to recommend Veronica’s property.

Had a warm and cosy stay at the cottage, which was lovely and clean, and in a stunning area. Plenty of parking space. Plenty of wood given to last the week. Neighbours friendly. We were worried about the road being so close once we got there, but with the cottage being low in the hillside, the sound of the road traffic went over the roof, so it was nice and peaceful. A really lovely village and highly recommend the tearoom at Elphin for food and drinks. We even got to see the northern lights and lots of shooting stars! A great stay!

It was delightful to stay at Liz's place. 3 cottages from the beautiful Lossiemouth Beaches and Sanddunes and a wee walk to Ashers bakery, the Pharmacy and Beachside street of restaurants, pubs and ice cream/Cafe and Sweet shops. The cottage is tiny, comfy, well equipped and peaceful. I enjoyed my stay here very much! Thank you Liz!

Spent a great week here with family, and we all felt at home. The property feels nice and secluded but is only a 10 minute drive from everything you need. loads of options for days out with or without kids and walks within reasonable driving distance. Bea was always easy to contact and very nice to communicate with if needed. highly recommend

Fantastisch verblijf gehad bij Joyce en Gus. Het huisje ligt afgelegen en het uitzicht is geweldig. Wandelen vanuit het huis is een optie, loch migdale is een prachtig meer. Voor mensen boven de 1.85 is het hier en daar uitkijken voor je hoofd. Simpelweg heerlijk.

We found the Lodge comfy and had all we needed. Loved the area. Would come back.

Fun place to stay for our night in Thurso. Andy was a great host and provided local recommendations. The house had everything we needed and was located close to town. Would highly recommend and happily stay again.

A short break to see family. Chose this cottage as it looked cute and homely. We were not disappointed. What a beautiful cottage in a good location, out of the way but close enough to shops etc. The cottage is furnished beautifully and the decor is warm and welcoming. Nice big driveway caters for more than one vehicle. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare snacks or main meals. Lovely and clean. If i could have brought the cottage home with me i would have done (would love to live in a home like this) . Also a nice touch with the welcome basket provided which had milk, tea, coffee, jams etc. Superb!!

This is a gorgeous cottage with so many good points - outside space is stunning and there is a lovely walk down to the beach. The cottage is well resourced and relaxing. Everything you need to prepare food is easy to locate and its very clean and tidy. I found the cottage fresh and modern and it felt like a home. The bathroom was lush and the wee corner ensuite toilet and basin were cute and handy for my mum. Loved it all.

A spacious and homely cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The cottage is located in an outstandingly beautiful area. Remote but with all amenities within a short drive. It is ideally situated for exploring the NW Highlands with many attractions close by. Several stunning beaches within walking distance. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions and left clear instructions as to the running of the house. Highly recommended, look no further!

Great host, very friendly and helpful. I booked this on behalf of my colleague who stayed. Its the perfect property, great location and surroundings, would definitely recommend.

The cottage is fabulous, tastefully renovated and wonderfully equipped. The underfloor heating meant we were toasty all the time and we had the option of the wood burning stove in the living room to add extra warmth in the evening as well as a gorgeous highland ambience. The bed was very comfortable and lovely views from the windows. Andy & Angela are fabulous hosts who obviously care deeply about the quality of their guests’ stay with them. We were unlucky enough to have a car issue whilst in the area and Andy & Angela went above-and-beyond to assist us in getting it resolved quickly and with minimum drama - we are eternally grateful to them for being so kind and helpful. We love the area and the scenery - the next time we’re back we will only stay here 😀😀😀

We really enjoyed our stay in Lossiemouth, Great location, easy walk into shops, restaurants and beach. Comfortable stay in a great location.
