Tamarack Surf Beach : chambres d'hôtel

This stylish little space is exactly as promised but even better in real life. Parking on premise, more spacious than expected, sparkling clean, and brand new furnishings. Just needed a place to spend a quick night on a girls road trip and this had everything we needed from earplugs to a wine opener! ;)

This was an interesting place. It was clearly designed for a surfer… not a shorter woman per se. Well use of space. Creative design. Comfortable beds. Nice bathroom area. Large space. Very clean. But very loud. They did provide ear plugs and a noise machine to help. Amazing location and nice that they offered two free drinks to the restaurant upstairs with delicious food. It didn’t always feel the safest as the outside door was always open but I think it’s a safe town. The people were welcoming and kind. Oh, they have Netflix but no live TV.

Great location for a hostel, just a few steps from the beach! We’ll maintained as well and clean for a hostel! You’ll meet fun people, enjoy!

This was such a perfect family vacation. The employees were so friendly and helpful. There were so many things to do for the kids and family. The views were incredible and so close to the beach. We will 100% be going back. It fit out large family comfortably and we were so relaxed and happy. They even had a fun party to ring in the new year. It was a perfect stay.

We ran into an issue with our original booking in August due to a medical emergency within my family and after a few back and forth with Irit and Airbnb, we ended up rebooking for later in the year in December. The place we rented was great. It was super close to the beach and within walking distance of a bunch of stores and shops. We stayed there for a week. The pool & gym equipment of the hotel was a nice perk to use and everything you needed was there. The only thing we were a little caught off guard by was the resort fee but overall the stay was great and it was a great escape.

We had a great time. Checking in was easy, and communication with Robert was easy and timely. The hotel had a lot of amenities for kids, and my 8-year-old daughter had a blast. The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful.

Absolutely love the location and everything about our stay, I just wish we knew to request a bigger unit.

Everything was spotless. The proximity to everything one would need or want is incomparable. Excellent beds. Very well laid out. I would recommend Barbara’s place 100% of the time to everyone! Properties amenities were very enjoyable as well.

Actually 5 minutes from the beach! We were upstairs with no elevator, but it was a minor inconvenience. Definitely want to return, the room was beautiful and the shower was to die for! The breakfast was very tasty too. Thank you!

This place exceeded our expectations. Will definitely come back! Walking distance to all local bars and restaurants in Gaslamp.

We had a great experience here. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Our arrival and departure time didn't align super well with check-in and check-out time, but hosts were great about allowing us access to the facility as soon as we got there and for the full day of our departure to utilize showers, etc. The facilities were clean. The value here was great for the opportunity to stay so close to the ocean. Would definitely stay here again.

My stay at Hotel Narcissus was fantastic. The unique decor created a wonderful ambiance. The prime location made getting to my downtown event effortless, and street parking was hassle-free. Dinner and craft cocktails at Alchemy were exceptional. I highly recommend!!!

Prompt and fast response and always attentive to needs. Over all a good experience. Room was as advertised and clean and no surprises.
