We were a family of 6 adults plus 3 kids ages 3,5 & 7. The space was perfect for us. Eli met us upon check-in and was very friendly and easy process. We spent most time outdoors in backyard. Mornings at the beach and afternoons by the pool. We did rent a 6 person golf cart but it is an easy walk if in shape. Some of us walked downtown and too the beach but with the small kids it would have been a hike for them to the beach. Kitchen was great for meals and we used bbq as well. Lots of birds, iguanas and monkeys right in backyard. Felt very safe and secure, nice and private neighbourhood off the main strip. Grocery store 10 min walk. Loved the town. Our first time in CR and loved it.

Had an incredible time at this wonderfully situated AirBnb with my husband and our 3 kids. Mya and her team were responsive, helpful, and very friendly. They helped us book excursions, airport travel, stocked the kitchen per our request prior to our arrival, and made an awesome chef (Dania!) available to us - Highly recommend! Dania made us shrimp tacos that we're still chatting about. The place is in a really well cared for resort, beautiful landscaping, and the house itself is just footsteps from the great pool that we all loved. The pool has a nice shallow beachy end for the kids, a bar, and a perfect view of the beach and ocean, which were just a few steps away. Also a great beach/ocean for the kids. On the evening of our first full day, a big sea turtle came up to the beach to bury its eggs. We were so pleased with our choice to stay here - highly recommend!

Me and my parnter had a great stay, the house is brand new, nice and clean, it has everything you need, very peaceful, great location, very close to the beach, restaurants, bars, mini market. The Host was always very nice, would awnser right away if any questions. We would definitely go back.

My family of 4 (2 kids) stayed March 2024. We were greeted by Salvador and Ander and gave a very thorough tour. The house met all of my expectations! We wanted to be removed from crowds, Private, safe, and luxurious. The view is absolutely gorgeous! It truly makes this place magical. The pool and outdoor space is where we spent all of our time. It was amazing. Comfy outdoor furniture. The shaded area was perfect in the late afternoon and to watch the sunset. This location has a gorgeous sunset view. The inside of the house was spacious. The furniture was extremely comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We made all of our meals so we didn’t have to go to town. I wanted to decompress from society and we got it here. The one issue we had was addressed quickly. I was happy with Lillian’s response time with issue The on-site caretaker was amazing, kind, helpful and is such an asset. I highly recommend staying there. Feel free to message with questions!

Awesome spot! Just a 10 minute walk (not very shaded though) to the beach. The property was very beautiful, felt safe and private. The pool was clean and refreshing after a day in the sun. The living area was spacious and comfortable. Guests should know that waste water is recycled, so no flushing toilet paper! Also, keep an eye out for iguanas, butterflies, and an armadillo 👀

Overall amazing house in a secure location. It is a 2 minute walk to an American style grocery store which was very helpful. The pool and house were clean. The host, in particular, was very responsive and always available. Can’t recommend it enough.

From the moment we booked, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable trip. They went above and beyond by coordinating a private chef and arranging shuttles to and from the airport, making our experience completely stress-free. One of the highlights of our stay was Shirley, who took such great care of us. She made us delicious breakfasts on two mornings and kept the house spotless every day. She was so sweet and welcoming—it felt like having a family member looking after us! The host was also incredibly flexible with our requests and always quick to assist whenever we had a question. Their hospitality and attention to detail made our trip unforgettable. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate—you’ll be in great hands! Would absolutely stay here again. Breathtaking property and views. It’s about a ten minute ride from the street on a mostly unpaved uphill road and driving up, we weren’t sure what to expect. When we arrived with our five children, each of us was blown away. Over the course of the trip, a few appliances had issues. I’m not sure exactly how, but the management team for the property was on site in minutes with a fix, no matter the issue. This is why I gave five stars. The property is probably 4 or 4.5 stars but the team involved easily pushes this to a 5. Thanks for a great stay. We would definitely visit again.

Our family had the most wonderful time at Casa Palmas. Every expectation was met and exceeded. The beach was literally steps out your door. We loved the location and convenience of Casa Palmas. Surfing right outside your back door and only blocks down the street is a grocery store and many options to eat. We enjoyed the beach in the mornings and beautiful sunsets in the evening. The pool was especially nice during the hot afternoons where there was shade from the well maintained garden. The home was clean and welcoming with comfy beds for a peaceful nights rest. Casa Palmas has everything and then more! Nick’s communication was quick and so kind. I could go on and on about Casa Palmas but you really have to see it for yourself! Thank you, Nick for such a memorable stay and we hope to be back again!

We had a wonderful stay with 8 guests. The house is exactly as it appears in the photos, organized with 3 primary bedrooms around the central pool area. There is a fourth bedroom with 4 bunk beds. All of the bedrooms have their own bath/shower areas. The large living area has a big glass door that slides open to create an indoor/outdoor experience. We loved having breakfast prepared each day. We thought it might not be needed every day. However, after the first day, we decided it was too good to pass up, allowing us to relax every morning around the pool, drinking delicious coffee until the food was prepared. We would also highly recommend having a golf cart. It was delivered prior to our arrival and made trips in and out of town super easy. The location of the house is great. You can access either Playa Longosta or Playa Tamarindo through gates that are short walk from the house. The folks at the front gate to the neighborhood can give you the code. Overall, this is a great house!

Top notch in all aspects. Alvin was terrific about communicating and happy to give suggestions. The location within the resort could not have been better. We felt as if the pool and restaurant area which were accessed down a short set of steps from our patio were part of our villa. The view was amazing and service by all resort staff impeccable. The restaurant served fresh, delicious and varied meals, albeit not inexpensive. The villa and the experience were a truly memorable getaway, and you get what you pay for. Enjoy!

We just came back from a week-long stay in this beautiful house. The pictures shown in the listing do not do justice, it is a very large house with plenty of room for 4 adults, the views from the pool and master bedroom cannot be beat, the location is great (listening to the howler monkeys at night was an added bonus), there was always plenty of hot water, and the pool is huge and was kept in pristine condition. The only slight negative we encountered was the requirement to not place any toilet paper in the toilets but rather place it in trash bags (we were not aware of this requirement prior to arrival). Other than that one minor surprise, we would definitely recommend Payton's house to anyone who wants a fun and relaxing vacation.

We had a great time at Julia's house and everything was flawless, from the initial communication to check-out. Julia's place is well appointed, very clean and exceptionally quiet with an awesome view. Kevin was great and checked us in and took care of us for the week and always available for any questions or recommendations. Would highly recommend a stay at Julia's for as long as you can. Thanks again and hopefully we will be back soon.

Wow! What an amazing place. We would love to stay at Adam’s again (and probably will!). This was our first time in Costa Rica and what an introduction! There were 6 of us—a family of 4, and a couple. The apartment upstairs was perfect for the teenagers, giving them their own privacy and autonomy, even though the gathering area was definitely by the pool (where we spent most of our day and night). The house itself was kept cool by the AC and very clean and as described—really gorgeous place. It was stocked well with so many games, which we never got to play because we were so exhausted because of the heat—the hot dry season is no joke but thank god for that pool. The neighborhood and location was also hard to beat. Just a quick golf cart jaunt into Tamarindo (or you can grab a scooter in the area) tho there was a market and several great restaurants in walking distance. Place also was quiet/ felt very safe. Oh and Adam and Claudia went above and beyond! Can’t say enough nice things!

We had a great time staying at Katerina's place. The walk up the hill wasn’t an issue for us, despite some previous reviews mentioning it—it’s well worth it for the views and privacy. The plunge pool was perfect for cooling off after a hot day at the beach, and the home felt very secure throughout our stay. The property looks exactly like the photos—truly one of the nicest places I’ve stayed at in Costa Rica. The cleaners did a great job, and the showers were fantastic! I’d recommend keeping the shades closed during the day to help keep the interior cool. A few extra towels would’ve been a nice touch, but overall, we had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay that is convenient to downtown Tamarindo but quietly removed in a private, gated community, PiPPi’s Villa is it! My wife, son, and I spent many afternoons lounging by the backyard pool after a day of beach combing, swimming in the ocean, or souvenir hunting in town, just a short walk away. A favorite feature for us was the “Casita” guest house. Our son retired to it in the evening giving my wife and I privacy in the main Villa. We would also enjoy our morning coffee in the Villa’s beautiful flower garden which was visited each day by a dozen, multicolored dragonflies. Quite a unique experience. Our Host, Helena, was terrific! Very responsive, respectful, and helpful with any questions or concerns we had during our stay. On our next trip to Costa Rica, we will definitely try to spend part of it enjoying PiPPi’s Villa.

Lovely home very spacious and fully equipped from top to bottom. Super comfortable. Great beds and luxurious sheets. Beautiful pool. Wildlife everywhere! Howler monkeys and beautiful birds. And some amazing iguanas

This place was awesome. We highly recommend it. Fernanda and Ronald are awesome hosts and were extremely responsive. The villa was very clean and had everything we needed. The small pool on the patio was a plus if you didn't feel like going to the main pool. We stayed for three weeks and would definitely return.
