Varun’ place was a well-run small hotel right on the shore of the backwaters in Kerala. There was a pool, many different areas to relax with a book. Canoes were available to paddle down stream. Varun was very helpful in arranging transportation for us, recommending activities and pointing us in the direction of a special art biennale which happened to be taking place in Kochi while we were there. The restaurant had a nice blend of Indian, continental with vegetarian options. We are planning on staying here on our next trip and highly recommend it. Gregory and Michèle

The place is very beautiful and well maintained

All I can say is WOW, what a wonderful gem is Liz’s place! Clean, comfortable, the ocean view terrace, all only a few steps to the Bay of Bengal. But the highlight for me was eating at her cafe, Eli’s Kitchen, every day of my visit. The first day I arrived I had fresh lobster. The next morning, at my request, she made fresh Parotta topped with homemade strawberry jam. Later during my visit I relished a fish fry of fresh caught Pomfret fish, snake gourd, dal, lemon honey crepes with pineapple, homemade ice cream, watermelon juice, egg curry, all prepared with fresh, local ingredients, many from her rooftop terrace garden. The only time I had a meal out was when Liz and I took a rickshaw out to visit Idler’s Organic Farm. That was an amazing and memorable experience. Liz made a detailed map for me of the area and places of interest to visit. I spent a lot of time stationed in front of an ocean view, ocean breezed window reading several books I got off of Liz’s bookshelf.

Le personnel très gentil et toujours réactif face aux demandes de nourriture ou autres besoins ou services. Chambre bien propres correspondant aux photos. Situé entre les plages et à 15min en bus public de la White town, Pondichéry et 5 min de Serenity beach et ses petites échoppes. Les extérieurs et le jardin pas aussi agréables qu'ils ne paraissent sur les photos mais super grand resto avec canapés très agréable pour les petits déjeuner ou simplement bouquiner ou se tenir.

There are 3 rooms situated on the 1st floor, I had the chance to get the one with a big balcony facing the main street. It was extremely clean, nice and bright and its windows-doors had very useful mosquito screens. There was a comfortable double bed, a ceiling fan and aircon (really needed during my stay), a small desk and a little suspended ‘cupboard’ for the clothes and a modern beautiful private bathroom. There’s a fridge on the 1st floor that guests can use and of course, an available equipped kitchen. Very well located, the whole apartment is well thought (a recent construction), you notice that Colbridge and his wife Shalini care about their home stay business; they are a good team, pretty well organized working together. Colbridge, the brain of the hospitality services, sent me through whatsapp dozens of information related to history, places to visit and food. He is very knowledgeable (not only about Kochi) and it was good to exchange with him. Besides, he can help you to organize trips, call a tuk tuk and find solutions for your queries. Shalini is the heart of the place… she is welcoming, warm, intelligent and sweet, with a great sense of humour. A gifted cook, she prepares wonder ful breakfasts (Indian, European, American…), tailored to requests. I admired how she cared about guest’s well-being even when she was very busy. Shalini likes to exchange with her hosts and she gave me an unique opportunity to learn more about the culture. She is a very good company too, I will not forget all our laughters and hope to stay with them again. I fully recommend this place for your stay.

Joseph and his wife Nimy were so warm, friendly, helpful and attentive. They have a wonderful building that is quiet ( by urban India standards), yet 2 blocks from the center of Fort Cochin. There are about 10 rooms catering to a diverse international group of guests, Indians included. During our stay the people were fascinating - women in business, India’s top stand up comedian, a retired United Nations lawyer, a trainer teaching local women how to start their own small businesses, and a retired international development professional on a world jaunt. The morning breakfast was the best I’ve eaten at an Airbnb- wonderful fruit, fresh blended fruit juice, yogurt, cereal, a savory hot Indian dish, native blue pea tea, and more, all served on a covered rooftop. It is also close to the Biennale main venues. They were very helpful in arranging an interesting canoe trip in the backwaters, alerted us to a Puja, and helped with arranging transportation as needed. Fair price, good people.

My father and I had such a lovely stay here! Beautifully clean rooms, a wonderful welcome and a delicious breakfast. Also the best night’s sleep we’ve had in India yet. Thoroughly ecommended!

Jimmy m'a indiquer mon itinéraire et s'est rendu disponible pour répondre a mes question avant mon arrivée en moins de 10 min Emily s'est deplacé jusqu'à la gare de Alleppey pour indiquer le chemin au rickshow. A l'arrivée, toute la famille m'a accueilli chaleureusement avec le sourire Rita fait de bons petits plats du Kerala et s'adapte à mes besoins... à savourer absolument.!! Les lieux sont propres et très spacieux quel plaisir d'avoir passé ces quelques jours dans cette maison d'hôte. je reviendrais sans hésitation

Togi and Sandhya went the extra mile to ensure that I had a great stay and was able to accomplish what I needed to during my short stay in Bangalore. They were friendly, responsive and warmly welcoming, and I'll gladly stay with them again.

We spent three nights at Anita’s and felt right at home from the moment we arrived. We were shown to our room, which was a non-AC accommodation. However, its location ensured that it never became too hot. Anita’s is just a two-minute walk from the coastal area of Varkala and about a 10- to 15-minute walk to the town centre. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, as well as numerous yoga classes suitable for everyone, from complete beginners to those with more experience. Breakfast is available, and laundry services can be arranged for a fee.

This is an airbnb with the true spirit of receiving guests. The hosts spend time talking to you and serve you a sumptuous breakfast everyday. The room is spacious, with air con and a large window. Location is perfect to walk down to the centre where most restaurants are but if walking in the heat is not your thing, there is always a tuk tuk in the corner that can take you anywhere. Internet works well. Definitively recommended.

I had a wonderful stay at Ashin's cottage in Munnar! From the start, Ashin's warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The cottage is peaceful, serene, and perfectly located, with easy access to Munnar's attractions like Gap Road and the town itself. The road is in great condition, making travel hassle-free. The home-cooked meals by Ashin’s mother were a true highlight—delicious, fresh, and made with locally grown ingredients. We also enjoyed a plantation walk, where Ashin shared fascinating insights into local spices and farming, which was definitely worth the extra cost. The entire experience was memorable—peaceful surroundings, warm family hospitality, and authentic local cuisine. Whether you're traveling solo, as a couple, or with family, this place is safe, comfortable, and perfect for relaxation. I highly recommend staying here for a unique, peaceful retreat in Munnar!

It's a nice new house. Very neat and clean. Host stays in the ground floor and all the three rooms are on the first floor. There is spacious living room and balcony in the front and back, both with scenic views. Vijeesh is a good host who is always available on call and very helpful. He also offers tasty home made food at an additional but nominal charge. This place is highly recommendable and we will love to come back again in the future.

Memorable Stay Near Hebbal with Excellent Hospitality I booked this property near Hebbal to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! The place was clean, well-maintained, and the in-house Jacuzzi was a perfect addition for a relaxing and special experience. The host (Mahesh) went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, helping me plan the birthday celebration and staying in continuous touch to ensure everything went smoothly. The only minor hiccup was with parking in the basement. While the host’s instructions were clear, the pillar numbering in the basement was confusing and didn’t seem to follow a logical sequence, making it a bit tricky to locate the spot. Overall, it was an amazing stay, and I’m truly grateful for the host’s support. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable experience!

This place is a beautiful and rather peaceful oasis in the heart of an important part of the city. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, yet is located close to all the happening areas. This is a true airbnb with bed and breakfast included - this is a rare thing in today’s airbnb where breakfast inclusion is not really a thing anymore. The quality of breakfast is also pretty good I must say. Overall must recommend 10/10, I look forward to staying at this location in the future!

The property is a gorgeous example of old Kerala architecture with a stunning central courtyard. The roomwas squeaky clean and all the linens and towels felt pretty new. Aparna was extremely helpful with every aspect of our stay - and even went above and beyond to help us find some quiet Holi celebrations. Honestly though all of her recommendations were top notch; we pretty much filled our itinerary with them and could not be happier!

Our stay was fantastic! Maison Twenty-Six is a beautifully renovated 150 year-old house with exquisitely designed rooms that show great attention to detail. The staff was very attentive but never overbearing, and the garden was lovely. Everything was super clean. The location was perfect—right in the center of White Town, close to amazing restaurants, shops, and landmarks, yet incredibly peaceful. Highly recommend for an unforgettable experience.

I loved my stay at Tanto Beach— it was peaceful and relaxing, while also having all the basics I needed. The kitchenette was very sufficient for me to prep some basic meals since I have a lot of food restrictions, although I would have appreciated having some basic kitchen staples like oil and salt that most guests would use if using the induction. My favourite part by far was being able to take my morning cup of tea to the beach or sit in my balcony and hear the waves. I also felt very safe here travelling as a single woman, and i do imagine coming back some day.
