We stayed 2 nights at Casa MiJa, and totally loved every minute of it. Mani, caretaker for the villa was very helpful and made the entire experience worth it. He made sure we were at ease at all times and sorted anything and everything out for us that we needed any assistance with. The villa was amazing, and the location was perfect. Beautiful beach adjacent to it. The only drawback of it was the common areas of the villa do not have air conditioning, so with the weather running quite hot; we couldn’t use it or spend as much time there as we would have liked to. If they can fix that, this would be the best villa to stay at in the area. Everything else was amazing. Would definitely want to stay here again when I’m back in Mirissa, Sri Lanka.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunil's place, which is situated gorgeously right on a crowd-free beach (which does however have pretty big waves crashing in). We absolutely loved the location as well as the on-site pool. Super friendly and helpful staff who cooked us all a great breakfast each morning. The master bedroom in particular is amazing with a great view of the ocean.

I wish I could give this place 10,000 stars! We celebrated my husband's 30th birthday here, and it exceeded all expectations. The hosts went above and beyond, sourcing a special desert - blueberry cheesecake - because it's his favorite. They also helped with party supplies, making us feel like family. The staff is warm and attentive while providing perfect privacy. The location is ideal— on a quiet beach, close to great restaurants, a popular Saturday-night dance spot, grocery store, and ATM. The team arranged tuktuks to Mirissa for whale watching and always helped with last-minute requests. The chef is outstanding—best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. The design of the property is impeccable—natural lighting, high-end finishes, and a relaxing atmosphere. I can't recommend this place enough. It’s a rare gem, and I’d return in a heartbeat! Wir hatten einen wirklich wundervollen Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft ist so viel schöner, als auf den Bildern und die Lage ist einfach toll. Man hat Blick auf die Reisfelder und die verschiedenen Tiere, die dort leben. Die Villa ist so bedacht an die Umgebung angepasst gebaut, dass man mit den Tieren gemeinsam dort lebt. Im Außen- Badezimmer hat sogar ein Vogel seine Eier in einem Nest gebrütet- einfach toll! Wir haben und sehr wohl und sehr umsorgt gefühlt, Charith der Haushälter hat sich toll um uns gekümmert und seine Kochkünste sind phänomenal. Er hat uns auf Anfrage Abendessen gekocht& es war das beste Essen, dass wir in der gesamten Urlaubszeit in Sri Lanka hatten. Das Frühstück war auch himmlisch. Tagsüber- nachmittags /abends wird die Villa zusätzlich noch von einem anderen Angestellten dort überwacht, sodass wir nicht jedes mal alle Türen abschließen mussten und ganz sorglos Ausflüge machen konnten. Wir haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder! Vielen Dank!

Great place. Right on the beach with a gate that provides complete privacy. Even with the direct proximity to the beach you feel safe and the entire resort has a great chill vibe about it. The waves are great for fun, body and surf boarding and as our close friends said “they just keep coming, it’s relentless fun” and the cool pool has a perfect temperature to plunge into after the sea. Lots of little cafes, bars, restaurants, surf schools and shops all outside the front door. The supermarket is a 10-15 minute walk or a short tuk tuk ride, selection isn’t that good and was about the only negative side of what was a very successful and relaxing week for Mums and Dads, whilst the teenagers were kept happy with the sea, pool and of course, a bit of internet time!! Lastly, the house team were always helpful and obliging to assist and guide. Thank you to them and the evening guard who keeps you safe after a hard day in the sun. We will be back…..

Chandi est une hôte d'une gentillesse absolument fantastique, nous avons été accueilli avec un délicieux jus de fruit frais, elle nous a montré comment cueillir des noix de coco et expliqué la variété d'arbres autour de la maison. Les petits déjeuners étaient abondants et délicieux. 2 jours fantastiques !

Beautiful property with a big pool and a great bar area. The comfy bedrooms made for a wonderful night's sleep. Dilan and his family were incredibly kind and hospitable, always ensuring we were comfortable. He provided great recommendations for restaurants and things to do and see in the area. We only stayed one night and wished we had stayed longer. Highly recommend! We will definitely return.

Malli's guesthouse is a jewelry hidden in a residential neightbordhood. The perfect option to rest and very well located to move everywhere you want to go. You can rich koggala beach by walking ;) He and his family offer the most delicious Sri Lanka traditional food. If you need transport they also offer Tuk Tuk and bike with convenient price.

Eine sehr entspannte Unterkunft und super gemütlich. Sie ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Der Strand ist direkt hinter dem Garten und ein paar Gehminuten entfernt gibt es ebenfalls einen schönen Strand mit weniger Steinen beim Einstieg. Saskia, Chethanas Freundin, war super lieb und freundlich und hatte sehr viele Tipps für die Umgebung. Ihr Frühstück war sehr lecker und sah zudem auch wunderschön aus. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen und würden wiederkommen.

We were incredibly lucky to choose this villa. The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay and even more! A beautiful courtyard, a nice pool, a cozy room and all the necessary amenities! And also the most uncrowded and stunning beach next to the villa! But most of all we were captivated by the care and hospitality of the Duminda’s family! The first visit to Sri Lanka turned out to be unforgettable. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and the parting gift conquered our hearts!😍

Все соответствует описанию, в нашем распоряжении был второй этаж: 2 комнаты и кухня, в каждой комнате вентилятор и кондиционер, большая кровать, ванная комната. На первом этаже живут хозяева. Дом расположен возле главной дороги, поэтому не слишком тихо, но все поблизости, до пляжа 7 минут ходьбы. У хозяев есть тук тук и машина - неоднократно пользовались этими услугами. Довольны нашим пребыванием в Унаватуне.

Nous avons été agréablement surpris par cette paisible maison entourée de verdure, un jolie jardin et piscine accessible jusqu’à la tombée de la nuit. Le cadre est vraiment mignon, mieux que les photos de l’annonce :P . Hôte très accueillant qui à l’arrivée vous donne des recommandations de lieux et restaurants, plages accessibles à 2mn à pied, vraiment bien situé. Bon rapport qualité-prix, on recommande !

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön. Besonders der Pool und der Garten sind unglaublich. Lova ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Perfekter Ort um ein paar ruhige Tage mitten in der Natur zu genissen.

It is always a pleasure when a stay lives up to expectations. Darshaka and his Family exceeded our expectations definitely. They were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. The location was close enough to the beach but very quiet except for birdsong and the odd monkey call. He also organised tours for us which were great. We will come again.

Als wir ankamen,hat uns die gesamte Familie sehr freundlich mit einem leckeren Obstsaft empfangen und ruckzuck war das Gepäck schon nach oben gebracht. Die Zimmer und die Küche sind im 1.Stock umgehen von einem tollen Garten mit allerlei Vogelstimmen.Wir waren immer beim Frühstück unten und die Familie hat uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Will man zum Strand oder in die Stadt kann man die 200 Meter zu Fuß zur Haustrasse gehen und ein Tuck Tuck anhalten, wenn man Glück hat erwischt man auch eines direkt vor dem Anwesen. Alles in allem supernette Gastgeber und ein wirklich tolles Anwesen

sehr schöne Unterkunft. es ist perfekt zum erholen und zum entspannen. das Frühstück ist groß und mit Liebe zubereitet. die Ayurveda-Behandlungen sind traumhaft und das Zimmer ist neu, sauber und gemütlich. das Team ist sehr hilfsbereit! Alles was man braucht :)

The stay was excellent, and the caretakers took care of everything I needed. I had a great time!
