Eine sehr entspannte Unterkunft und super gemütlich. Sie ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Der Strand ist direkt hinter dem Garten und ein paar Gehminuten entfernt gibt es ebenfalls einen schönen Strand mit weniger Steinen beim Einstieg. Saskia, Chethanas Freundin, war super lieb und freundlich und hatte sehr viele Tipps für die Umgebung. Ihr Frühstück war sehr lecker und sah zudem auch wunderschön aus. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen und würden wiederkommen.

I had an excellent time. The hosts were very communicative, helpful and accommodating. Everything felt easy- exceptionally close to the beach. And the apartment was spacious and very clean. Would thoroughly recommend! Thank you.

Perfect. Large area, has place tor everything: work, train, chill, hangout with friends. Having other guests around makes it a great place for making connections. But having a bike is a must to comfortably get around

We had an excellent stay at this apartment and appreciated all the thoughtful details. Communication with Dakshan was smooth and supportive from start to finish - he was very helpful, always quick to respond, and offered great assistance whenever we had questions or needed guidance. The apartment itself was in top-notch condition, featuring powerful air conditioning, fast internet, and a fully equipped kitchen that made cooking easy. The spacious layout and separate showers in each room gave everyone plenty of privacy and comfort. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the modern yet cosy feel instantly made us feel at home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d gladly stay here again.

This place is a paradise! This family is adorable and always very available. We had an excellent stay in this place, the pool is magnificent, the private beach downstairs is superb too. The food is very good, we ate in their restaurant for 3 days and it was always delicious! We recommend . Thanks Sanjeewani

Fantastiskt hus och natur med mycket vilda djur på stor mark. (påfåglar, fladdermöss) Hundarna är ett problem för mig som är hundrädd vilket drar ner upplevelsen något då de både skäller på natten och strövar runt poolen på dagarna. (notera: De är snälla) Servicen och personalen på plats va hjälpsamma och snälla. Vi älskade kvällsbad i poolen, en fin promenad ner till stranden och ett avlägset privat boende med autentisk känsla. AC på rummet är ett måste, fint att det fanns. Vi älskade Polhena och matlagningskursen i Sambol Garden.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunil's place, which is situated gorgeously right on a crowd-free beach (which does however have pretty big waves crashing in). We absolutely loved the location as well as the on-site pool. Super friendly and helpful staff who cooked us all a great breakfast each morning. The master bedroom in particular is amazing with a great view of the ocean.

We have had a fantastic week here at Cococabana, with a spacious and well-equipped house, a park-like garden and a large and elegant swimming pool. In addition, the hosts Anne-Marie and Daniel are very positive and attentive, along with their pleasant staff. The dogs that live here are friendly and contribute to a great environment. When we arrived, we received a good overview of all the practicalities, and were met with a clean and delicate house, with fresh fruit and food in the fridge. We have been traveling around Sri Lanka for over two months, and this is without a doubt the most beautiful place we have stayed in. The property is located undisturbed right by the sea, but still only a nice walk or tuktuk ride to beaches, shops and restaurants. Here we have experienced everything we could wish for. We would be happy to return on a later occasion.

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine, suresh et sa femme ont été adorables et toujours présents dans toutes nos demandes ! Un lieu paisible où vous pourrez être à la vie locale hors de la horde de touristes ! La voisine vous propose de préparer des repas et à même offert un présent à notre fille pour son anniversaire.. vous êtes tout de suite accueillir dans le quartier ☺️ La plage est à 50m avec des petits restaurants très sympathiques au bord de l’océan.. nous étions avec nos enfants et la baignade était parfaite pour jouer dans les vagues et faire du body board en sécurité… peu profonde donc ils ont pieds et peu de courants 🤩

I wish I could give this place 10,000 stars! We celebrated my husband's 30th birthday here, and it exceeded all expectations. The hosts went above and beyond, sourcing a special desert - blueberry cheesecake - because it's his favorite. They also helped with party supplies, making us feel like family. The staff is warm and attentive while providing perfect privacy. The location is ideal— on a quiet beach, close to great restaurants, a popular Saturday-night dance spot, grocery store, and ATM. The team arranged tuktuks to Mirissa for whale watching and always helped with last-minute requests. The chef is outstanding—best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. The design of the property is impeccable—natural lighting, high-end finishes, and a relaxing atmosphere. I can't recommend this place enough. It’s a rare gem, and I’d return in a heartbeat! Thank you so, so much for Lauren, Neal, and staff for an incredible stay!

Nice budget-friendly place to explore Weligama! A scooter will come in handy, as you are a little bit outside the centre. The kitchen and the bed are great. There is warm water and the hosting family is kind and attentive. It is basic, but convenient. Good value for money.

Well, Cecilia’s property will have a special place in our hearts! Property was fantastic with breathtaking views of the beach. The furniture pieces made the stay extremely comfortable. Kudos to the hosts for selecting beautiful art pieces that we could see and enjoy during our stay. Cecilia was extremely responsive and proactive in offering support. We as a group of four stayed there for 3 nights and had very comfortable check-in & check-out. And there is Sam :) who takes care of the property, he was always available for any support. He was polite and professional. Would highly recommend this property and I know we will visit again in future. Last but not least - “The property is BEAUTIFUL and ARTISTIC.

Virkelig dejlig villa, som ligger helt ud til havet hvor du kan svømme i roligt vand sammen med skildpadder. Eneste minus var at der var en del turister at dele stranden med. Deepika varmen fantastisk og varm vært, som var nem at kommunikere med. God og hurtig service pg en virkelig god restaurant på stedet som bringer din mad hen til villaen, så man kan spise der. Også en dejlig rolig have fuld af palmer, hvor man kan ligge og slappe af. Vil helt klart anbefale dette sted.

Great view on greenery, nice place with all the needed stuff. VERY nice couple owns it, very friendly and helpful. Convenient location between Galle fort and Unawatuna. Many birds on the house territory, calm and peaceful. No fear of thieves thanks to security guards Definitely recommend to stay there, would extend my stay if it was available

Cleanest place I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka. Location was a bit hard to find via TukTuk but the host was responsive and really helpful. Nice garden surrounding property and very quiet location just a short walk from the beach.

Das Zimmer hat eine tolle Aussicht auf den Palmengarten und das Meer; das Bett ist bequem und Klimaanlage wie Ventilator funktionieren tadellos. Das Personal ist sehr lieb und aufgeschlossen. Der Preis ist für Sri Lankische Verhältnisse eher hoch, dennoch würden wir wiederkommen, da man sich schnell wie zuhause fühlt und für das Geld schon auch vieles geboten bekommt.

This is our 2nd stay at Sha Villas by Ushaan. Overall, Five-star host and a brilliant apartment! Check in and check out is super easy, and Ushaan is a very communicative and thoughtful host. It is a beautiful , spacious place with great amenities. Immaculately clean and a very convenient location. We would book again for our next visit.

Pavi, Bathi and their family and friends are the loveliest of people, always ready to help or offer advice when needed. Our apartment was situated on the 2nd floor and was lovely, bedroom and bathroom bare very large as is the kitchen diner, if there was anything you needed Pavi got it sorted asap, the grounds are immaculate and have a plethora of wildlife wandering the grounds, the use of the swimming pool was a great addition. Polhena itself is situated in a great spot for travelling out from and has a wonderful little beach(it does get busy at weekends). Shops are in walking distance as is the main town of Matara or a short fun tuk tuk ride. Colombo and other places are easily accessible via buses or train, both a fun way to travel. We will be back.
