A very nice, friendly, helpful and kind-hearted family. Dinner is eaten with them if you accept Nepalese food and they even add apple brandy. The location is perfect, right in the tourist area of Lakeside and yet quiet enough, very close to the lake. Everything is perfectly clean. But what is most exceptional is their warm welcome and the feeling that you are considered more as a family friend than as a paying guest. Even the cute dog is very friendly ! As a consequence I recommend this family 100% to those who are looking for a family experience.

Buddhi's place felt just like home the minute I entered. Spottless clean and very confortable, hot shower and breathtaking views from my balcony and from the terrace upstairs. Buddhi came and waited for me at the airport and was very attentive with all my needs. I had to work online and the living room with the table and the wifi was perfect. Laundry service also availabe. Quiet location, only 10 min walk to the turistic places. Not to mention that Buddhi is a guide so I could ask him everything I wanted for my ACT. I totally recommend Buddhi's place in Pokhara. Namaste!

What a fantastic find in Pokhara! The location is perfect, close enough to Pokhara but far away from hustle and bustle. Beautiful garden, swimming pool and outdoor dining area. Hospitality of hosts is outstanding! Wish I could stay longer.

Excellente adresse ! Homnath, sa famille et Sky (le chien rigolo) nous ont très bien accueillis. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le logement situé au 2ème étage, très propre et calme. La terrasse est comme un jardin. C'est très agréable et apaisant. La vue du toit sur Pokhara, le lac et les collines est très belle. Les derniers mètres pour arriver au logement sont très pentus, mais le lac est à seulement quelques minutes à pieds. Nous recommandons vivement ce beau logement !

Wonderful quiet location close to the lake. Cottage was perfect, staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend as this is one of the best places I’ve stayed in.

이곳은 전형적인 주택가에 위치해 있습니다. 도심에 위치 했음에도 시끄럽거나 혼란스럽지 않고 평화스럽습니다. 아침에는 대나무 숲에서 야생 원숭이 가족이 노는 모습을 볼 수 있었습니다. 사랑콧까지 연결되는 집 뒷편으로 산책하기 좋습니다. 숙소는 침실과 다이닝 존이 완벽하게 분리되어 있으며 양쪽 모두에 창이 있어 개방적으로 느껴집니다. 발코니에 앉아 담소를 나누거나 주변을 보면서 시간을 보내기에도 좋습니다. 집이 깨끗하고 침대와 린넨도 편안합니다. Tika와 그의 남편은 쾌활하며 적극적으로 우리의 요청을 수용해 주었습니다. 그의 남편은 우리에게 여행지에 대한 많은 정보를 주었습니다. 그녀의 가족들한테 저녁식사에 초대 받아 담백하고 자극적이지 않은 가정식 치킨 달밧을 같이 먹기도 했습니다. 쾌적하고 가족의 정서를 느끼고자 하는 분들에게 이 곳을 강력하게 추천합니다.ㅁ

I had an amazing time staying with Milan. Milan really makes sure you become a part of her family. They are warm and generous - happy to chat with you as much or as little as you want. I only stayed a few nights but feel I got to know them really well and hung out with them a lot. For a tourist, it’s a great way to experience Nepal and understand it better than you otherwise would. Milan provides two meals a day; one of these is a delicious dinner that is better than any Nepali food you can find in Pokhara’s restaurants! Milan’s homestay is located in the “real” Pokhara (i.e. where locals actually live), so it is ideal if you want to experience a true flavour of a Nepali city. Having said that, transport links to the more touristy lakeside are good: Milan’s family will always be happy to book you a taxi, you can take a direct bus, or download the excellent Patau app (a sort of Nepali Uber that offers taxis and cheaper scooters) if you have a Nepali SIM card. Milan has a washing machine which guests are free to use. This is ideal if you have a longish stay in Pokhara, or if you are going to/returning from a trek. Reliably hot showers are another bonus. The house itself and the room you will be staying are really nice and comfortable. I would highly recommend Milan’s homestay - I will never forget my time with her and hope to be back soon. Great friendly hosts! Great place with garden and great view from the balcony. Will definitely come back here again if I am in Pokhara.
