This place was lovely, nice and private with a lovely outdoor space. Close to town and the beach but also quiet. I would stay there again without hesitation.

Loved staying at this airbnb. Kate was so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We loved the outside area and the pool and the dog is adorable.

After our intimate wedding ceremony in New Plymouth, with our adult children and their partners, we shared the weekend at the Oakura accommodation. Karen comes across as a genuinely nice, friendly person. She didn’t hesitate to allow me to make an important last minute change to my booking which was very much appreciated. Her unit and surroundings were super clean & well presented. I highly recommend Karen as a host & her unit as a safe & perfect “sanctuary.”

A very beautiful place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The space is really a good size with very modern amenities. It felt homely. We had lovely beachfront views. It's close to the Coastal walking track which is good to walk or ride. We recommend this as a great place to stay.

David and Sonia were very friendly and made us welcome when we arrived. Perfect hosts. The accommodation was spotless, private and nice and roomy. We only stayed one night unfortunately, but would love to go back again.

We had the most incredible stay at Mini’s beautiful beachside house. The location was absolutely stunning, with a walk way leading directly to the most secluded and private beach, we had it all to ourselves! The view from the lounge was breathtaking, and we truly didn’t want to leave. Mini was an exceptional host, responsive, helpful, and incredibly accommodating. She even rearranged planned maintenance to allow us to stay when we were struggling to find accommodation for our group. Her kindness and hospitality made our experience even more special. If you’re looking for a relaxing escape with all the comforts of home, this is the perfect place. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Jane's beach house! Walking distance to the beach which was great. Had some toys and pretty much everything we needed for a family holiday stay. Jane was contactable via the app and answered questions promptly. Thanks!

Such a lovely place right IN the dunes. Our kids loved the location and played endlessly in the sand dunes. The walk to and on the beach was beautiful, avoiding the nesting birds. The house was very well stocked and we felt completely at home. Very comfy beds, lovely bathroom and kitchen. Spacious but cosy. We loved it all.

We had. lovely couple of nights at Felicity's cottage. Spacious, clean and very well kitted out. The bed was really comfortable so a good night sleep assured. The only problem was we hadn't booked for long enough.

Great house! Very secluded and nicely decorated. Beautiful Rocky black sand beach just 6-7 minute walk from the house however no stairs but a semi steep dirt walkway which could be challenging for older folks. You can’t see the mountain from this property - the photo online must have been taken from the neighbors field. It can get very warm in the afternoon inside. Host was very responsive to any questions.
