We had a delightful week in Oakura! Joanne was responsive and helpful when needed, but let us have our own space. House was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. Fitted our large family well, and would also suit two families. Highlight for the kids was the pool, hands down! Fantastic spot, close to the beach and local amenities. Would highly recommend to all.

Not everything is as new as the photos suggest, but the appartment feels spacious due to the high ceiling, it is comfortable and generally very clean. We recommend it to others.

Wir fühlten uns dank Lucy's Zugewandtheit und ihrer Familie - und des Hundes 😉 - sehr eingeladen und hatten eine großzügige Wohnung für uns, die sehr komfortabel war. Der Garten ist ebenso traumhaft. Alles war sehr unkompliziert, was wir sehr genossen haben. Das Grundstück liegt ruhig und ist ein zauberhafter Rückzugsort. Danke. 🌼

Fantastic whanganui bach! Much nicer in real life than the pictures. We appreciated all the little bits of design, pottery, and books. Lovely garden and outdoor area to have an afternoon drink or a bit of yoga. Can hear the wild beach sounds !

We had a really lovely time based at this welcoming, well appointed and spacious house; perfect for our family group. Jennie was brilliant in keeping us updated and waiting for the first of us to arrive for in-person welcome. Very highly recommended.

Casey instructions and providing good intel for what my whanau was there for 'Te Matatini 2025' New Plymouth is a wonderful place to visit, and we would certainly visit the region again and we would not hesitate to book again due to the location of the Airbnb is situated, the 2 cats were just friendly and loving just a peaceful touch to the home. We had. lovely couple of nights at Felicity's cottage. Spacious, clean and very well kitted out. The bed was really comfortable so a good night sleep assured. The only problem was we hadn't booked for long enough.

We had an awesome stay in this house. From the outset, when we secured this property, the communication was excellent. When we arrived at the property, it was just as the photos had promised—a modern, well-appointed and clutter-free home. The location was excellent, especially for the reason we were in New Plymouth. All the local amenities were either a few minutes away or definitely within walking distance. The house was very clean and the linen and bedding was excellent. We would definitely and highly recommend this home and property for any prospective people wanting to stay in New Plymouth.

Kerry and John are amazing hosts, we had a small issue the first night but they were incredibly quick in resolving it and going over and above to ensure our stay was great. The home is in a nice location, very close to the beach and we would definitely stay again.

Tina greeted us when we arrived, she is a lovely person. I also found out that she is very forgiving - I accidentally imprisoned Tilly the cat in Stalag Luft RAV4 overnight! I never found out if Tilly was equally forgiving (I suspect she was grounded for the rest of our stay). That aside it’s a lovely place and handy for exploring the southern Taranaki area. Thank you Tina for all your hard work on our behalf!

Beautiful modern home in the heart of Oakura! Thandi and Bachelor were so kind and super responsive. We were so grateful for the lovely space to spend time with our family.

3 of us really enjoyed staying in Maria's house for 6 nights during the Garden Festival, it suited us perfectly. Lovely quiet location, and a very comfortable modern house. The day we arrived was a bit chilly, so Maria had turned on the heat pump before our arrival, and put out extra blankets. Very comfy beds! Maria's communication was great. We'd thoroughly recommend a stay here. Thanks Maria!

Wow! These best place we've stayed during our trip round NZ. We are traveling with an American so the coffee maker was a huge hit - as were the home made cookies!! A fantastic stay, highly recommended!!!
