We stayed in Chalet 3 at Cherie and Rodney’s place and are so happy with our choice. It was very peaceful and private sitting on our own deck overlooking the orchards and towards the sea. The chalet was very homely, spacious, comfortable and extremely well equipped. The friendly sheep visited us often in the paddock straight off the deck. Cherie and Rodney’s place also had laundry facilities and a barbecue to share with the other two chalets. Parking was ample and easy to use. Our hosts were quick to respond to texts and very friendly when we needed help. This property is in a great location with easy access to Abel Tasman NP and the lovely towns on the coast. We particularly enjoyed the short walk to the Riwaka Resurgence. We hadn’t heard of this gem before but it was highly recommended by Cherie and Rodney. Don’t miss it! We highly recommend staying at Cherie and Rodney’s. If it’s available, grab it!

Lovely place to stay with a friendly host. Not too far from Nelson and surrounding attractions but feels amazingly private and peaceful - and we loved being able to say hello to the cows! Pool was a great facility for hot summer afternoons and the cottage had everything we needed and nice spacious rooms.

Great place 10 mins walk to centre of town. Quiet, lovely garden setting. Very clean and tidy with everything needed for a self contained stay. comfy bed, modern bathroom, well equipped kitchen. Clear instructions from Host and quick responses to enquiries. Enjoyed our stay

From the moment we walked in we were in love with the place. What a gorgeous set up. Hundreds of cows (from fluffy cow toys hanging in the rafters to cow plates, glasses, toilet seat cover, cow duvet covers!! It was totally different to what we are used to but totally loved it!!

It was a wonderful stay at Robert's. The cabin was immaculately clean. Robert was on site to meet us and was extremely friendly and welcoming. The property itself was spacious enough for us, without being too big. Everything was well stocked too, some milk in the fridge a nice touch. Had two gorgeous dogs that lived there and wander the grounds, so soft and were excellent with our two boys. We extended our stay as we were very happy with location and property. Would happily stay again.

Bridget's airbnb was just perfect for us. It was so quiet and peaceful. The airbnb had everything we needed. The nighttime was perfect for stargazing and taking photos of stars. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Lounge furniture was also comfortable. I would strongly recommend this airbnb and would be delighted to stay there again. The hosts were friendly and very helpful.

I booked Heather's place for my 94 year old mother while visiting Nelson for two months. She absolutely loved her stay in Heather's flat, with the additional bonus of Heather's warmth and attentiveness - nothing was too much trouble. Many thanks to Heather and her family for making Lilla's stay so enjoyable and comfortable

Pete was really helpful throughout our stay in Picton. Gave great advice about the Marlborough area and was very accommodating when we needed a late check out. Would recommend!

Rebecca’s place is immaculately presented with modern fit out, fixtures and appliances. The bathroom and kitchen are some of the best I have seen. It has a great view and is isolated from surrounding noise. A perfect location for a group of 4.

Sally and Bruce's place was absolutely wonderful! A great place to call home during our road trip (especially after a very long day of hiking in Abel Tasman). Not to mention, the bed was very comfortable! We had the best time.

A beautiful apartment, extremely well set up and beautifully dressed. A perfect stay. The bed was just heavenly. This is a quite hidden little gem. No noise, no traffic just ideal and still very close to everything. Thoroughly recommended.

Wir haben nur eine Nacht in Rebeccas Unterkunft verbracht, aber diese war sehr angenehm. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet und man ist sehr schnell bei der Fähre.

Jeannie and Dobbie were very welcoming and friendly. We got a tour of their lovely gardens and even got to try some eggs from their hens. The cottage is as described and perfect for two people. There are many great walks in the area as well as bike paths. Highly recommend.

The facilities and equipment are very complete, and everything we need are there. For example, the outdoor jacuzzi was always filled with hot water, so we enjoyed it every day as Japanese who love bathing. The host, Jo, was very kind and responded promptly to any questions we had. The area is a quiet residential area. There are a supermarket and a few restaurants within 2-3 minute walking distance, so it is very convenient. We enjoyed the stay very much. We would definitely stay here if we have an opportunity to come to Nelson again.

A clean, well-appointed base camp for exploring the region. About equidistant from the mail boat ride out of Havelock and the southern access to Abel Tasman National Park. Nelson itself was a revelation of good restaurants, an interesting regional museum, and a lovely beach just down the hill from the Airbnb. Ales and Michelle were stellar hosts, responsive and friendly. The house was just right for two, with an efficient kitchen set-up, great amenities and a fabulous view of the beach, the bay, and the mountains beyond. Would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay here. Although the weather let us down the setting is peaceful and so relaxing. It was brilliant being able to have our German Shepherd with us. She had plenty of room to run around (in the rain!). Very friendly and helpful hosts. Thank you very much 😊

Nice and cosy place, good choice to explore Nelson area.

Anna’s place was beautiful and the perfect retreat. The whole house had a homey feel and everything was exactly as described, not a cheap alternative like many other airbnbs.

Beautiful location, very comfortable beds and nice hang out area! Hot tub overlooking the water at sunset was incredible. Hosts were very helpful and super friendly. Highly recommend!!!

We’ve basically been here just 6 hours to sleep before our ferry ride. Yvonne’s place is absolutely cozy and sweet. We had a wonderful time. Yvonne is very helpful and nice

We had a wonderful stay in Garden view Cottage. Rhonda and Max are incredibly warm and generous hosts and make you feel right at home even before you arrive. The cottage is stunning, incredibly tranquil with an amazing view back down over Picton and the harbour. It is super clean and feels very luxurious. We had some lovely suppers on the balcony and could have stayed forever! Whilst it is up above the town, it is an easy walk down to the harbour and back. I enjoyed a run one morning and it is mostly flat. Max is very proud of the garden and encouraged us to forage for anything we needed. The chickens were fun to watch and their eggs made a great option for breakfast. Don’t hesitate to book. You will have a great stay and feel relaxed and refreshed even if you are only there for a couple of days!
