The place is situated right in a vineyard and next to a distillery, which is fantastic in that regard. It offers great views and has everything you need. However, it’s close to the road, so it can get a bit noisy at night if you’re a light sleeper.

Very nice place to live in Stanley and the staffs are very welcoming and gave a lot of recommendations. Overall, we had a great experience living there and definitely will come back again!

We had a very relaxing week at Birch Lane. It was the ideal location for us to see all of our holiday destinations. Michelle was great and offered us all the advice we needed. We would recommend to anyone to stay at Birch Lane Guest House.

Racecourse inn is a beautiful property that is very well maintained and presented by the owners. Annabelle and Richard were amazing hosts with great hospitality, served sumptuous breakfast and shared excellent tips on places to go and see. Annabelle recommended we go to the yearly races (Cressy Longford Cup) and that turned out to be an awesome day out for us. Thanks Annabelle and Richard - you made our time in Longford really enjoyable and memorable!

Easy to access, simple and flexible check in option.

We really enjoyed our small and private setting at white sands. The pool and beach were both very close and accessible for The other guests were quiet and peaceful. The villa was very private and each one has privacy screens at the sides and perfect for entertaining or sitting quietly on the deck relaxing. The kids loved the daily $5 vahalas icecream from the iron house brewery. Restaurant had menu with a set menu.

The rate was reduced because the restaurant was closed so it was very quiet but it was lovely place and great location. Well worth it if you like wine/beer/whiskey or gin.. any and all are available in tasting paddles and was a relaxed experience with great view. Rooms were spacious and very close to the beach.

Stayed for a wedding in the district , great location, fabulous facilities in the resort and Villas very clean , neat and tidy . Easy communication with Lyn. Would stay again .

Amazing stay, wish I had another night to enjoy it more. The fire place room is delightful and highly recommend having the 3 course dinner. Neil was a great host and as a keen golfer from England. To play the oldest course in Aus was an opportunity I couldn’t turn down!

From my understanding the large high pitched roof barn has been modernly converted into 4 seperate dwellings, the bathrooms are modern and well equipped, main bedroom had a double bed and seperate room had 3 single beds for small adults or children, there is a fridge, microwave, tea, coffee, kettle, everything you need, the price for a busy time of year was very affordable considering the modern accommodation. Pros: peaceful atmosphere. great host. renovated accommodation. 1 hour from Hobart and great location to drive to see any area of Tasmania. breakfast if required 8am to 930am. dinner can be booked at the main house, 30 second walk from accommodation. fully stocked bar at the main house. golf course and interesting history. cons: bed was not super comfortable. thin walls can hear other guests talking and snoring. Overall 9/10 experience and Peter the host was very helpful, kind and informative.

We really enjoyed our stay here. All staff very helpful and very friendly. Old homestead really lovely. Breakfast was great and dinner was exceptional- thanks Peter! After dinner entertainment was really interesting and enjoyable. Thank you.

When we arrived we weren't aware that we are staying at THE OLDES AUSTRALIAN GOLF COURSE!! HOW AWESOME. Shame time didn't allowed us to play game of golf but we will return in future to do it. Greg's property is amazing and offers lots of beautiful sites to see and experience the rich history. The host Jo was exceptional with his hospitality and he showed us around the property. We were more than in awe. The cottage was beautiful and we had amazing time even that we stayed only one night!! Highly recommend
