Hi all, the house is a little bit old, but absolutely CHARMING and we missed nothing! :) There is a great terrasse with a wonderful view, even when it is raining you can sit outside in a very cosy corner. Even if we stayed in July and there are around 50 mobile homes around you, it was veeery silent and the children could use the great common pool often on their own. ;-) We also liked the play barn (with table tennis, billards, dart board, etc. (but the dart board should be replaced, because it is really old and not in a good state - suggestion: replace the board, buy new darts and put a carpet on the ground to protect the darts... ;-))! We really can recommend to stay in the house of Hege! :) Cheers, Michael and family

Vi var en familie på 7 voksne og 3 barn (3 generasjoner) og hadde et fantastisk opphold hos Kåre. Det var enkelt og sjekke inn og masse plass til alle. Kåre har et flott hus med masse boltreplass både inne og ute. Fine soverom med gode senger. Alle i alderen 2-70 koste seg hele helgen og skulle gjerne vært lenger. Kåre var dessuten veldig behjelpelig og svarte raskt dersom vi hadde noen spørsmål og kunne rask øt komme dersom det var noe vi trengte hjelp med. Anbefaler virkelig å bo hos Kåre og kommer gjerne tilbake.😊

We loved our stay here! The check in was easy, the home was lovely with everything you would want and need with a gorgeous outside area which would be perfect with some good weather, plenty of space for parking and the area was very quiet. All with a very helpful host who was very responsive. We will definitely be staying here again!

One of our favorite Air B&Bs ever. Wonderful place, walking distance from downtown. Our hosts were great, proactive communicators and responsive to any questions. Their home is wonderful with an awesome kitchen and dining area as well as really nice outdoor spaces. Would definitely stay here again.

Vi var en jentegjeng som bodde her og vi hadde et supert opphold. Koselig og fint hus, rent og ryddig. Veldig god og hyggelig kommunikasjon fra vert.

Je recommande vivement l’appartement d’Alexandre Outre son excellent emplacement à Stavanger, les prestations de l’appartement sont de très grandes qualités (couchage, salle de bain, cuisine) A 5 minutes à pied du centre ville et des commerces du quotidien, son emplacement est particulièrement appréciable lorsque l’on se déplace à pied en centre ville.

Beautiful home in a ideal location in central Stavanger making it perfect for going out and about on foot to explore. Would highly recommend. Mariann also gave helpful advice regarding trips and was very accommodating on our check out time. Many thanks

Das Haus ist wirklich toll. Es ist genauso, wie es in der Beschreibung dargestellt ist. Am besten ist natürlich der Blick aus dem Wohnzimmer bzw. von der sonnigen Terrasse. Hier blickt man direkt aufs Meer und kann immerwieder große Schiffe, die nach Stavanger hineinfahren bewundern. Auch die Wohngegend ist ruhig und gepflegt, ein Supermarkt und ein schöner Spazier- Joggingweg am Wasser ist in direkter Nähe. Alle Aktivitäten (z.B. Stavangers Innenstadt, Preikestolen) sind gut zu erreichen. Als vierköpfige Familie haben wir uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Vermieterin Henriette war sehr zuverlässig, immer erreichbar und hat auf Fragen schnell geantwortet. Wer nicht nur Stavanger und Umgebung erleben, sondern auch eine besonders schöne Unterkunft genießen möchte, ist hier genau richtig.

What a view. I mean, WHAT A VIEW! The home is very comfortable and well stocked with necessary kitchen items and linens. The beds were comfortable and the bedroom hallway has a door at the end which creates excellent sound proofing between the sleeping area and the kitchen/living room. The back garden is absolutely exquisite (the owners run a gardening shop I believe - and it shows what talents they are!). The owners were also very nice when we accidentally checked out late - we had the checkout time wrong. But they were super cool and understanding. Oh, and did I mention the view??? Amazing! :-) The little town down the road (about ten minutes downhill and fifteen minutes uphill) is charming. There’s a nice cafe and two groceries. The beach (also about 10 min away) is dotted with Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, and grills for public shared use. We really had a lovely time! I would definitely return again, and hope to do so soon. One note - there is a guest house on the same property that is also rented out. There’s a somewhat divided area of the garden for the guest house, so we barely noticed the other guests and it was no problem at all. But just wanted to note because we didn’t realize in advance.

Vi var 4 studenter på praksis i Stavanger, og vi fikk bo i dette flotte hjemmet! Hjemmekoselig og perfekt beliggenhet i byen. Vi hadde trøbbel med vaskemaskinen, men da hjalp verten oss umiddelbart med ny vaskemaskin til neste dag! Vi håper på nytt opphold neste praksisperiode! :)

I spent the last week of March 2025 at John's apartment. I was in Stavanger for job. I spent a beautiful week.The apartment is lovely, clean and comfortable and unique: it has a special atmosphere, it has its own story, it is warm and welcoming. It is large and it has a beautiful and very equipped kitchen with many tools: it seemed to me to be in my own kitchen (much more than I have usually found in other airbnb apartments). The downstairs bathroom is very nice and clean and very equipped: John told me I could also use the washing machine! It is a bright apartment and very quite: I could work and study in a beautiful and welcoming environment at a comfortable desk. It is in a perfect position, close to everything: center of the town, malls, bus station, and to the bus stop for the connection to the airport. John has been the exquisite host of this unique place.

I had an amazing stay, . the location was perfect—very central and convenient for exploring the area. Communication with the host was excellent; they were responsive, helpful, and made everything seamless. The house itself was incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed, making our stay comfortable and hassle-free. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in the area. Would definitely book again! Thank you :)

We loved our stay at Thomas’ place. We felt at home right away. The house is spacious and inspiring. The garden is great and our kids enjoyed the swing and the trampoline! The kitchen has everything you need and supermarket / bakery are walking distance. Also getting to the center of Stavanger is easy and only 15 min walk. We made daytrips and it was always very nice to come back to this lovely house. Thomas is a very kind and responsive host. We recommend this place and would love to come back one day. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Die Wohnung lag sehr ruhig, hatte alles zu bieten was man sich wünscht und war gepflegt. Wir haben zum Beispiel das Heimkino sehr zu schätzen gewusst. Daumen hoch, wir würden gerne wieder kommen.

Our combined family of 8 had a wonderful stay at Vegard’s home. We were all comfortable with lots of space to spread out. 15 minute walk to Stavanger harbour with restaurants, shops and tours. Would highly recommend staying here!

The perfect house for a three generation family of 12. Lovely garden with very popular trampoline. Close to Stavanger centre with Godalen bathing area within walking distance. Merete always responded quickly to any queries

Leuke ruime woning. Dicht bij het water en Stavanger goed bereikbaar.

Angela og Bjørn var veldig hyggelig. Jeg var hos dem i tre uker pgn var jobbreise. Jeg hadde med en Førerhund som skulle levere til en bruker som bor på Ålgård og en under opplæring . De var veldig hyggelig at de ville akseptere å ha med Førerhund. I begynnelsen fikk jeg hekseskudd pgn var mykt seng. Men jeg fikk raskt hjelp av dem. Byttet rom 😀 Veldig fint utsikt og nær til sentrum.

Fantastic and unique house which the owners have invested a lot into. The host Elisabeth was very helpful, flexible to our travel times, and always contactable. Made it a great and easy stay.
