We had a beautiful stay, the views from the air bnb were very serene especially at sunset. The beds were extremely cozy; a homely little stay, with a big garden space & hot tub. Perfect for a weekend getaway or short stay Bath being only a 10 mins drive away was great for us to go & explore Poppys home is lovely & communication from Poppy was helpful & prompt We had a wonderful time, thank you

As a family we had the best weekend at Miranda’s home. The whole place was so comfortable, with the kitchen views, hot tub, family rooms, and downstairs wet room a highlight. It was such a good base for lots of walks and pubs but be prepared for the hills!! Everything was perfect and everything we could have expected, we were so happy and ended up having the nicest relaxing weekend. Miranda is a lovely, kind host who always made me feel welcome and that I could have asked anything. 100% recommend to anyone else considering this stay :)

Had a lovely stay here, the coach house is cosy and very clean. The hot tub area is really nice, it’s very private and easy to use. Had a great weekend

Absoloute Hidden Gem, 300 year old cottage very homely and peaceful with beautiful surroundings and lots of walks especially for our Jack russell Reggie who had an amazing time, cottage is absoloutley as described and exactly as the photos show, shame about the downstairs toilet being blocked but with two ensuites in the bedrooms this wasn't an issue, and Ceri and Daniel were very responsive to the issue, you do need to go careful coming down the stairs,as my husband found out on the first night 🤣 but some very lovely features with an added bonus of a hot tub which we made full use of,hosts very responsive and helpful would highly recommend to friends and family x

a lovely home to stay in, we stayed for 3 nights but could easily stay for more. you would not run out of things to do in the house in the evening with the hot tub and games room. a very walkable town with a very nice riverside walk and plenty of cafes.

We stayed for two nights on our honeymoon and it was perfect! The location is so peaceful and the hot tub is as a nice addition. We also used the spa, the plunge pool was an experience and the steam room was lovely too. The land is stunning and we went on a lovely walk with our dog. Kaye and her husband were lovely and gave us some local recommendations. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely, clean and well presented with lovely views. Comfortable bed and amazing hot tub. A great cozy getaway location. Linsey was a friendly and pleasant host, very responsive. Enjoyed all round!

The place was lovely, we did some amazing walks right from the property. We would definitely return. Clean/comfy/large bed. Welcome hamper was really nice and had you could need.

Susan and Jim went out of their way to accommodate us. We were arriving from 3 different locations at different times hence their flexibility was brilliant. The location is really stunning and unspoilt. The villages are really attractive and the views are amazing. Despite the weather being quite wintery, we had a wonderful time and saw some amazing sights. Thanks for having us!

A lovely cottage with everything you need when away from home. Was spotlessly clean when we arrived and smelt gorgeous! Comfortable beds, great shower, temperature control in every room, well equipped kitchen, lovely interiors and great outside secure spaces for humans and dogs. Whilst it was possible to walk directly from the house with hardly any need to walk on roads, we preferred driving to one of the many lovely places close by to walk our dogs. We had great weather so no excuse for log burner nights (sadly!) but we made excellent use of the hot tub. A week of bright stars by night and beautiful birdsong by day. A lovely cottage in a lovely part of the world. Quantock Brewery was a great find with street food nights and fab beer. We loved Dunster and its beach and Bishops Lydeard had anything else we needed including all the local gossip! Looking on Rightmove because we want to live here now! :)

What a gem of a place. Tranquil, lovely views from the bedroom, cosy cottage with a relaxing modern feel to it. Thankful that Chris/Freya could accommodate at the last minute, as we booked the night before quite late. We had a lovely surprise when we arrived, to find out a few lambs were resting in the small barn next to our garden patio with their mamas before they could be released into the field. It was such a highlight seeing the lambs jump around and stretch their legs as we sipped our coffees in the morning. Great location, approx 40min drive to Heddon Valley (we did a 24km run/hike from Heddon to Combe Martin, with a stop and looped back), and it's a 12min drive to Withypool if you want to do a big circular loop approx 12km to the Tarr Steps and back. You will have suggestions of places to visit in the welcome pack and a mal on the wall. The cottage comes with all the kitchen appliances you need. We also got to purchase some fresh eggs too, tasty! A perfect short weekend stay :)

Enjoyed our stay in Weymouth. Sally's place was far enough out to be quiet but still close enough to not be a burden. Would recommend to anyone.

We had a great stay here! It was very peaceful and relaxing. The surrounding area was beautiful and the garden in the front and around the back was perfect for our two small dogs ! Only thing I would say is there are some small gaps in the bottom of the fencing so be careful if you have an adventurous dog - we just kept them on a training lead and they were sound. Some great walks within 5/10 min drive of the cottage ! The host will tell you everything and very responsive.

Lovely stay here. The children loved the animals and we all loved the beautiful and well equipped cottage. Really friendly and helpful hosts. Excursions to nearby beaches in early spring sunshine were wonderful.

This was the most beautiful place to stay for a peaceful and quiet break. The cottage was lovely and clean and exactly as shown in the photos on the site. Clean and well presented and the beds were so comfortable. We have stayed in many cottages and it was a delight to actually sleep in a comfortable bed and sit on comfortable sofas rather than the rock hard beds and dilapidated sofas normally provided in a lot of cottages. Everything was catered for and the cottage was warm and welcoming. The area is stunning and we had lots of places to visit within easy driving distance. The hosts were very friendly and very helpful. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay and the dogs enjoyed the large garden as well. We loved it !

Communication with Mark was great. The house is really lovely, as described, and the oak extension is great. It is tastefully decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and our 3 year old grandchild slept well in the peace and quiet. Thank you Mark.... we definitely would like to return.

We loved the Owls, we had an amazing stay. Very easy to find, lovely peaceful location. Beautiful settings and extremely comfortable. Everything was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for more. The hot tub was amazing, stayed super hot all night, matched with the blackness of night. Luckily we had a clear sky and was amazing to see all the stars. It was absolutely perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Ben & Katheryn were very hospitable, even leaving us a bottle of champagne for valentine’s. Very nice touch and was a pleasure to meet you ! I have no doubt we will be back !

We can sum up Simons cottage in one word, 'Perfect'!!! What a gem of a find, great location, very clean and comfortable and a great base to see the North Devon coast from. The village locals were lovely, staff at The Golden Lion and Community Shop were very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed star gazing in the hot tub and taking full advantage of the amenities the cottage has to offers. Our 2 girls, 6 and 9 thoroughly enjoyed it too and didnt want to leave!!! Thank you Simon, we will be back!!! P&L

Cedra Cottage is in a tranquil village and has a secluded and well-tended garden that was coming into bloom with spring flowers. The village is remote and we really appreciated the hamper provided by Lucy-Ann after a long journey. The cottage is beautifully furnished and well equipped. Our children loved the old fashioned toys, the Wii and the CD player. The cottage was warm and cosy and we enjoyed relaxing evenings by the fire. The books and maps of the local area were helpful.

A second stay at this lovely house. Super peaceful, beautiful area and house has everything you could wish for. Thank you :)

We can't recommend this property highly enough. It's in a lovely, tranquil spot with woodland walks virtually on the doorstep and we loved the feeling of staying in part of such a lovely house, not least the former well in the kitchen and the giant fish pool to the front of the building. The sitting room / kitchen is well equipped and comfortable but the bedroom stands out with its vaulted ceiling, great bedside lights and fabulous view. Wish we could have stayed more than two nights. Simon and Gail

By far the nicest place we have stayed at. such a beautiful cottage with every necessity available. Spacious, clean, very dog friendly :-) We loved every minute of our stay and would 100% return again.

such a lovely, comfortable, welcoming place to stay. nice and warm, comfy beds, great shower. and so peaceful. loved the goats, kept us amused! perfect for a family get together across the generations. everything you need for a relaxing break. highly recommend.
