Really enjoyed our 3 nights. Best thing was the morning breakfast chats with other guests, so interesting and the huge amount of food on offer. Highly recommended. PS we left our food bag in your fridge, hope you can use the contents!

Upon arrival we were greeted at the gate by Nanette daughter Auriela. She was so helpful what a great host. The home was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We met some wonderful people as we weren't the only guests in the house. Great breakfast with the other guest. At first, we thought this is going to be awkward. Nope, it was quite the opposite. We had a great time with the other guests. I will do it again Thank you

I loved staying at Nanette’s. The room is cosy sunny and bright. The bathrooms are spotless and are also very spacious. The shared spaces are great. Nanette and her girls are warm and inviting they really look after their guests in their home. I loved meeting other guests as well that came from all over the world . It was fun having a chat with all the new people. Taupo is beautiful of course with the lakes and spa park is very special. The cost of the room with breakfast is very economical you even get Nanette’s wonderful homemade baking. I would definitely highly recommend.

Perfect stay in impeccable accomodation, Tony was very welcoming and his house is perfect and functional with good facilities. Tony offered us an amazing breakfast and prepared scrambled eggs for us, thank you again for this welcome. I recommend Tony's accomodation.

Very friendly family stay location. Clean and comfortable. Full kitchen, dining room, and sitting room with a gigantic TV.

This place is well worn, but comfy and the host extremely warm and welcoming. Really appreciated the cleanliness of the shared showers and toilets, and the mound of fluffy white towels that were provided. Great atmosphere, with guests from 4 countries sitting around exchanging experiences long into the evening. 100% would stay here again.

AWESOME! The best part of Geoff's place is Geoff himself! He was very accommodating of my last-minute booking, and was so helpful throughout my entire stay. At check in, Geoff makes sure to personally greet you and show you around his beautiful property (with gardens, chickens, fruit trees, and a glowworm grotto). The location is great, a 10 minute drive from downtown Taupo, near a peaceful beach on Lake Taupo, and walking trails around. The room has everything you need and is exactly as described. I loved staying here. P.S., if Geoff offers to have coffee together - do it! He has awesome stories.

I had a wonderful stay at Joanne’s who was friendly, helpful and made me instantly feel at home. We had great conversations. My room was lovely and I had a great night’s sleep. The breakfast was delicious especially due to all the homemade options. Would highly recommend to anyone. I look forward to my next visit.

My stay with Brett and Penny came at the most ideal time, I needed somewhere quiet to recharge my batteries after an odd woofing experience left me a bit dazed. The accommodation has everything you need. I really appreciated the price bracket too, the hot tub was a very welcomed nice extra. The breakfast set up was well welcomed too. I enjoyed a coffee and sitting on their terrace admiring the view. Brett and Penny were very welcoming and opened up their space. Thank you to Brett and Penny, hope to see you again down the road. Thank you for your honesty and hospitality. I needed it more then I thought at this particular time.

Nanettes place is a home away from home. The room is big and cozy (tv, lots of room to put away clothes), everything is made available to have a comfortable stay. I was spoiled with the homemade yogurt and the glutenfree muesli every morning!! Nanette is one of the kindest and thoughtful person I've met along my trip. She went above and beyond to make my stay easy and enjoyable. I can't recommend her enough. I've really enjoyed staying with her and her lovely two daughters.

I stayed here with a friend before completing the Tongariro Crossing and it was a wonderful experience. I would recommend to anyone; it was comfortable and clean and our every need was met. (Even making our sandwiches ready for the crossing the next day!). The breakfast was delicious and Mary was a friendly and helpful host. Can’t wait to stay again, thank you!

I really enjoyed my stay at Nanette’s place. Her family made everybody feel at home. It was also nice to get to know the other guests. They served an incredible breakfast every day. The communication was perfect and she was available for any questions. Nanette and her daughters went above and beyond what is expected of a host and provided whatever help was needed by each guest. Just a great experience.

Everything was wonderful! The bed is so comfortable, lovely hospitality we had. Amazing breakfast with nice coffee. We enjoyed so much. Nannette is a wonderful heart warming person thank you so much for having us! 🥰🥰
