I absolutely loved staying in this cottage. A perfect spot if you want to be in nature but close to the city and shops. We loved kayaking on the river. I highly recommend this place. I will be back. Beautiful and quiet too 😊

Lovely place to stay. We felt very welcome and our dog had a great time too. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the location being only a few minutes drive to Tauranga or the Mount. Kaz was very helpful with local recommendations and was very friendly and accommodating.

Enjoyed my stay! Close to beach and walkable to all Amenities. Perfect room for solo traveler. Very comfortable and warm. Crystal was so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

Sharlene’s place was well equipped and very clean. Upon checkin there was some milk, cereal, bread and spreads which was greatly appreciated. All the beds are comfortable and there’s a very functional kitchen. Sharlene herself as a host is also very kind even helping us get on top of our pile of washing when there was wet weather. I will mention for other travellers that the window coverings keep out very minimal light so if you’re a light sleeper or will be adjusting to new timezones an eye mask would be good. We had portable black out blinds with us but not enough for both bedrooms. Would definitely stay here again

La "cabane" au fond du jardin est parfaite pour séjourner à Tauranga. il ne manque rien, il y a même une piscine. La maison est proche du Mt Maunganui et de la très belle plage. Tout était parfait, nous recommandons fortement cette belle adresse.

We enjoyed our stay at this cute lil place. Was a convenient distance to the wānanga. Nice and clean, with good amenities and they provided little snax which was a really nice touch. I would have vacuumed but the vacuume was flat. Would definitely stay again if they will have me and would highly recommend

Peaceful cosy, clean cottage. Great location for us whilst in town for a tournament. Had everything that is needed for a couple of days/ nights. Katharina was responsive when needed.

Felt right at home just staying there, and the little dog just made me smile all the time. Such a beautiful place to stay and both my fiancée and I enjoyed it very much.

We loved our stay at Parrot Nest, beautiful accommodation with everything you need! Spotless with such lovely touches making you feel right at home! Amazing communication and hospitality from the hosts Betty & Christian with tasty pretzels for breakfast and other yummy things in the fridge! Highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

We had a great stay, it was close to the dinner party that we were attending, so made getting there and back very easy and Uber friendly. The house was as listed, was clean and tidy and fitted our requirements with our 17-month-old with an additional high chair supplied. We would definitely recommend and stay with again.

The most beautiful airbnb we have ever stayed at. Absolutely beautiful views & the inside was stunning, had everything we need and the spa was incredible on the cooler evenings. Thank you so much for your hospitality we appreciate it so very much & next time we are over from Australia we know exactly where to come.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our daughter’s first birthday. The place was perfect for our little family of four & our kids loved the friendly pets that visited every now & then. Loved that the town, shops & beach were all super close. The place itself was cosy & clean, we really felt like at home. Awesome hosts & an even better airbnb. 5 stars all round 🙂

Amazing gem/find! Carla was so accommodating and fantastic at communicating! The house is at the back of the property but it’s very private and you feel like you’re in your own space! Beautiful interiors, my son loved the gaming room and we loved the hot tub! Great location and price! We would 100% book again, thank you Carla x

I had a lovely stay at Katherine’s Airbnb. The one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a private entrance. While the temporary scaffolding over the entrance made access a little tricky, it didn’t affect my stay. The fully equipped modern kitchen was a standout feature, making it easy to prepare everyday meals. The apartment also offered a great space for family to visit and relax, which made my stay an even more enjoyable experience. There was plenty of room - in a comfortable setting - to sit, chat, and host family meals - several times during my visit! Unfortunately, traffic noise during the day was noticeable and especially distracting when sitting outside. Katherine was an excellent host, going above and beyond by allowing me to use her private laundry room. Overall, a great place to stay—clean, well-equipped, and with a welcoming host. I would definitely recommend it!

From the description of Karen’s place being “country”, I didn’t expect that it would be in a densely populated neighborhood as it is. Still, privacy was an important consideration in creating the cottage. Being very close to Hwy 2 makes it very convenient to services. Traffic noise was often heard with windows open. Also, just below the property a highway is being built and heavy machinery can sometimes be heard during the day. There are sheep being farmed closeby on the hillside property, though the only farm animal I occasionally heard was a small deer. Karen is a very attentive host, eager to assure my comfort and meet needs. Her place is stylish, bright, and has nice views of the surrounding area through sliding glass doors. I cooked my breakfast cereal and dinner in the kitchenette, and value that amenity. I found Karen’s place to be convenient and comfortable for my needs!

Thank you, Anne, for being a lovely helpful host. The accommodation is well situated, close to the beach and local amenities and fitted with everything that was needed for our weekend stay.

Our family of four absolutely loved our stay here, everything we needed for a short getaway; private location looking out to the golf course, easy 5 minute walk to the beach, and nothing is very far to drive to. The shower is amazing, and there is also a warm outdoor shower to wash off the salt and sand. If you are wanting to cook elaborate dinners, you may struggle in the small kitchen/laundry but we were eating out so not a problem at all for us. Also amazing surround sound in the lounge, made for a lovely movie night with the kids.

Stayed at this place in Jan2024! The house is amazing , very accessible, clean, walking distance to beach and town. The host had the house really well stocked and she was easy to contact. The pool is excellent especially if you have kids. I would highly recommend this place, it is good value for money.

Jan and Dan are personable, kind, and went out of their way to show hospitality to us on our 20th anniversary getaway. Loved the time!
