Sandy Feet Retreat was beautiful! It was spacious for our family of 5, free of clutter, with an intuitive layout, and nice finishings. The house had absolutely everything we needed. The guestbook was very helpful in orienting us to the house and location. Samantha was very responsive and friendly. The neighbourhood was quiet. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The hot tub was a nice bonus that our family enjoyed at the end of most days. The house is 5 minutes walk to the beach, 10 minutes to groceries and some great restaurants (we loved Thai Thani), and coffee (our favourite was Gather). We appreciated that this AirBnB had the option to compost and recycle. We would highly recommend Sandy Feet Retreat and we hope to return someday on a future trip to NZ.

Excellent stay and so close to everything. Easy check in and clear communication made everything seamless. Would recommend staying again. Only thing we did not use was the hot tub as we were unsure when it was cleaned or maintained last. All else was perfect!

Perfect little batch, very easy walk to the beach and a close bike ride or drive to shops, cafes, and handy to the Mount. We had everything we needed here and would stay again.

A stunning little nook in the middle of Tauranga, we felt like we were worlds away from the hustle with all its amenities right next door. Beautiful cottage, amazing bath & conservatory, alongside the chillest vibes imaginable! Thank you for this gem 😊

Wonderful, commutative, friendly host, wonderful place! The accommodation was sparkling clean! We couldn’t believe it! We have found that most places that are dog friendly use it as an excuse to have a less than beautifully clean home. As if people with pets have dirty homes! But this place was spotless! The host was so friendly and helpful and accommodating. The garden was just gorgeous. And although the garden wasn’t completely enclosed, a screw in long line is provided which was perfect to let our dog explore without going too far! In terms of cost, i understand with ‘pets allowed’, costs are higher than usual. But it wouldn’t stop us going back. Definitely recommend! Oh! And make sure when you type in satnav you put in Te Renga and not Waihi as the same address exists in both towns 😣 Thank you, you gorgeous people for a heavenly stay. You helps make our wedding anniversary so special! You should be so pleased with ourselves for creating such an inclusive atmosphere Thank you a

We couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot for our mini-moon! From the moment we arrived, we were in love—gorgeous flower gardens, dreamy hydrangeas, and the most charming vintage decor that was so our vibe. Every little detail was thoughtful and welcoming. Our small dog, Hazel, was just as happy as we were, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and exploring the garden. It felt like a cosy, romantic escape while still having all the comforts of home. We truly didn’t want to leave! Love, love, love—would stay again in a heartbeat! 💕✨🐾

This appartment is perfect for relaxing and activities. The wonderful beach is in walking distance. Rotorua area is in less one hour per car possible. For breakfast one can sit outside and can enjoy the garden paradise.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed for our holiday. Beach is close by and amazing - went swimming daily. The local shops are a quick walk & have excellent food, coffee & ice cream (which the kids greatly enjoyed). The house was very comfy and clean with a great outside area. The neighbourhood is very quiet and family friendly. Would highly recommend this place for a quiet beach holiday!

Gail’s place was perfect! Just what we were looking for in the area. We will be staying again in the future. Possibly one of the nicest Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in.

I can’t fault the bach. It was absolutely spotless. Literally 2 mins walk to the amazing beach. Super comfortable with holiday vibes. Fully fenced, safe and suitable for our dog. 1.5km walk to the Island restaurant complex and papamoa township. Excellent communication and flexible, friendly, accommodating owner. Can’t wait to come back for a longer stay!

The cottage was well maintained and thoughtfully supplied with all kind of useful kitchen tools and equipment. It is in the peaceful and beautiful location, the host is responsive and helpful. The location is very peaceful and beautiful. I would strongly recommend this place if you are looking for rural getaway to relax and recharge.

We had a wonderful 10 days in this cosy cottage in The Mount. Entry and exit were extremely easy and Antony was very helpful letting us enter a few hours earlier than the stated time. The cottage was very clean and well equipped, we were able to cook several meals including a BBQ. The location was amazing, it took 5 minutes to walk to the nearest beach and then 20 minutes along the boardwalk to get down to the main beach at the base of the Mount. The beaches are lovely, so clean with easy swimming conditions and plenty of surfing if wanted. There are lots of good restaurant choices all within easy walking distance. We ventured out and did some waterfall hikes and a visit to Rotorua to the thermal pools. Antony was super easy to communicate with and helped make our vacation very relaxing and enjoyable.

Property always spotless and Lesley very helpful if there's anything you need. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at De-vine cottage. It is a lovely, comfortable, well-appointed cottage. Sitting on the verandah at sunset looking at the lovely water view was a highlight. There is a lot to do in the area.

Delwyn's bach is so lovely. We felt right at home. The homemade bread and breakfast was delicious and a nice treat. The location is good, about 15 minutes away from the central Tauranga area - just tucked away enough to feel like a proper escape. Delwyn is very friendly, helpful and overall an amazing host.
