Had a wonderful stay just my dog and I. Very peaceful and quiet and Melissa was quick to respond to my questions. Recommend if looking to escape the city life and some quiet scenery by the water.

Randa Catherine's apartment is in a great part of town, within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. Very clear instructions, would recommend for a short stay.

This place is perfect get away from city noise! Very peaceful, beautiful surroundings and very cozy homey place.

Jeremy's place is a perfect spot for a getaway. Clean, private, quiet and a great location. We look forward to returning in the summer to have some fun on the water. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone, check out a show at the Neat Cafe just a short walk away.

So glad we stayed at The Noble Suites! We definitely pinned it on our map to return and explore the area more. The Romeo & Juliet Suite was warm and inviting with old world style, but everything we needed to be comfortable in our stay. The view and proximity to local restaurants and coffee shops (Richard's!) was amazing!

Spacious bottom suite, ideal for a family. The host was extremely nice and helpful. The backyard was absolutely beautiful where we enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking. Would definitely stay again when visiting Calabogie.

This was a beautiful and peaceful stay. Right on the water with a sandy swimming area and dock. Absolutely gorgeous. Severin and his wife made us feel right at home, supplying us with firewood to use at their fire pit and water bottles upon arrival. This comfortable studio was very clean and cozy, perfect for a relaxing weekend. Private, free parking available!

We loved staying at the river house. Beautiful view of the river and comfy accommodations. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful- even bringing over flowers for Thanksgiving. The place was nicely decorated for the season. When it snowed, they brought over some sleds for the kids. I would love to come back in the summer! Only drawbacks were that the heating was a bit uneven in the main room with all of the windows, but it warmed up nicely with a fire in the fireplace- which is a great touch. The water smells very sulphur-y, but that’s common in wells near the river. Being from the area originally it didn’t bother me too much. Thank you Cassie and Shana! We had a great time.

I would love to thank Parker for providing such a great place—he is an awesome host and very responsive! His cottage is located in a beautiful area by the lake, and the view is absolutely breathtaking, making it worth every dollar. The house is very modern, clean, and has great energy. It’s equipped with all the necessary supplies to make your stay comfortable and safe. We spent a weekend away from Ottawa, celebrating my birthday and a family member’s birthday with a small group of very close friends and family and it was just a perfect spot for this occasion ❤️

We loved the quiet, peaceful surroundings, the spaciousness of the cottage, and the beautiful views from every window. We love music and spent a couple of evenings just sipping wine and listening to music through the sound system routed through the ceilings. The kitchen was beyond well equipped! Further, Donna delivered extra pellets for the stove before we had to ask, and Erik generously mitigated the problem with the hot tub. Truly special hosts who care about their guests and their comfort.

From the very beginning, Tim was extremely attentive and answered all of my questions immediately. I knew what to expect as soon as I walked in. The house fit 2 families and 2 large lazy dogs without feeling cramped. Having water access was amazing, the kids fished all day while the parents enjoyed time on the patio. The kids were able to take kayaks out to fish as well. The water grass made it a little difficult to keep an eye on the kids from the patio area, but not enough to be a problem. The water is very shallow but we were able to park our rented boat (Mac's Boat Rental-super awesome to the kids) without a problem. This house is exactly what we were looking for; private, waterfront and allowed dogs heavier that 20lbs-which is difficult to find. This house was a gem and we will gladly rent again! Thanks Tim!

We had such a lovely family retreat. The lot size was VERY spacious and had room for many outdoor activities. That said, it would have been amazing to have a fenced in yard for our dogs, but we knew what we were getting into. Everything was clean and organized. Being right on the water was amazing! The kids were able to play by the shore and we were all able to enjoy the water. We had a phenomenal time at this stunning lakeside retreat. While it looks like a perfect summer getaway—serene, spacious, and incredibly private—its winter beauty is just as remarkable. Watching the sunrise over the frozen lake is a breathtaking experience, and the hot tub adds the perfect touch, making it unforgettable to soak in the warmth while surrounded by crisp winter air. Our February stay exceeded expectations, and we highly recommend it year-round. Richard was an excellent host—responsive, honest, and ensuring the place was immaculate upon arrival.
