Kathryn and her crew of animals were all very welcoming! Holly and the chickens were my dog’s favorites! We loved how secluded this place was, very nice to get away from the world for a couple of days. Yet, too not far from restaurants and things to do or see. Thank you for the fresh eggs and a great weekend Kathryn!

This place is a super nice and has cool features. Updates in the right places that make it very comfy and felt right at home. I highly recommend if you’re in the area. Very clear instructions and responsive host. We will surely stay again next year.

We needed a place for family to stay for a celebration of life event. Christina's place was a perfect spot. Nicely appointed, very comfortable, felt right at home. Wonderful location to walk around town, for a bit to eat, or a cocktail. Would absolutely book this spot again! Thank you Christina.

Audrey was amazing, we had another host cancel our reservation mid move cross country. I reached out to her and within minutes it was reserved and ready. The property was the most well stocked air bnb i have ever been to. Anything that you might have forgotten she thought of. Audrey was very responsive and there to help with anything. The house was clean and cozy. The area was quiet and close to anything you would need. I will be using this host again when we come into town.

We truly enjoyed our stay! Joseph was an awesome host, very hospitable and accommodating. The property did not disappoint. We were able to catch a beautiful sunrise and the privacy was much appreciated. We would definitely stay again and recommend this space.

Great place to stay. We weren’t there much due to wrestling but it was great to have a house to stay at instead of a hotel! Will book again.

Jessica was VERY quick to respond to a last min booking. I am from Peoria and need to come back home to see my grandmother that was hospitalized. Without taking time she accepted the request. The bed is comfortable and the space is nice. The shower is excellent . There are things that need a little work but it’s a beautiful work in progress . A nice stay for human and pet alike .

Had a lovely stay at Jackie's place. I had a minor glitch with the keys (was my fault) - but was quickly addressed. House is cute, and has a nice retro vibe. Had everything we needed. The bathroom is tiny - so if you are sharing, just be aware, it's a very small bathroom. There is extra storage in the bathroom and the hallway - which is helpful. Super close to Bradley's campus, and the downtown Peoria. Location was perfect for us - and Jackie was super helpful and quick to respond. Would stay again.

Pete was responsive which made the booking smooth. His hospitality left a lasting impression on our guests. We look forward to booking with Pete in the future.

Place was cozy and host was extremely responsive to anything I needed. I have no complaints, but do want to point out that the stairs on the way down are wood/slippery so might be a challenge for senior dogs.

This will be our go to when we visit our daughter at school. The location is great, very close to a Dollar General, which was super helpful when I needed something at 8:45pm (they close at 9, lol). Saw numerous deer in the nearby park every day. Loved the fenced in backyard, which was perfect for our golden doodle. The beds were super comfy, loved the decor, the whole place was very clean. The master has a very fun electric fireplace built in to the wall, loved it. The home looks small from the outside, but inside it is very spacious.

Cabin was cozy, quiet and peaceful! Great location for nature, relaxing and out of the city! Had a great time looking at all the various decor places. Easy to find and enjoy all it had to offer. Would definitely stay here again!

I have been on air bnb for 2 years or so now and stayed in 30 plus but nothing compares to this gem of a place y’all best book it before someone else does and don’t forget about that awesome game room

We had a wonderful stay for my younger sister’s Bachelorette Party. The place was so cute and cozy and very comfortable to sleep. Location was very easy to find and the owner was a great communicator. We enjoyed our time!

The house is as large, welcoming, clean, and was packed with amenities. Dimitar was a fantastic host! There were issues with scheduling that he straighten out in short order. I am new to Airbnb. Lucky for me, Dimitar was able to help me with all of my newbie issues!

Galena Shores is a beautiful location. The home was quaint with colorful decor. The pictures of the home are exactly what you see. There is a king bed that is super comfortable and the view of the lake was amazing. Kim was great, she checked in to see if we needed anything or had any questions. It was a great place for a weekend getaway.
