What a beautiful spot! Great view from deck, kitchen and hot tub of the volcano and loved having a few different spots to relax depending on time of day. Good distance to the volcano for hiking but also the amenities of the house were great, as well as neighbouring highland cows!

The place is blessed with an awesome view. It lights up with fantastic colours in the morning and the moon rises right behind the mountains, with premium front seats from inside the hot tub. It is far from the city, but the host puts so much care and effort into providing the room with all that’s needed that you don’t really feel the need to be anywhere else. Our routine was great, petting baby cows in the morning, breakfast with a view, walk down to the river, then bubbles in the hot tub in the afternoon. All the plant ornaments inside and around the room were real. The good memories the place provided were real. But we still cannot believe we saw two shooting stars going across each other at night. Incredible spot! Gorgeous accommodation! Super friendly & helpful host! We loved everything about this place. So peaceful & relaxing. Loved the outdoor bath! Incredible walks, cafes & everything you might need within 5 mins drive. Loved the homemade brownie & muesli - a magical & delicious touch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Had a lovely 2 night stay at Mick's place. Excellent location - set up on the hill in quiet farmland made it feel really peaceful but just a short drive to Mangawhai town/shops/restaurants and beaches. The place was clean and tidy with a nice fireplace, and topped off with a hot tub outside under the stars. We loved that we could bring our dog with us and there was plenty of space for him to run around (on a long lead as not fenced). Mick was great to communicate with and we'd love to stay again

I had such a beautiful weekend, the cabin is beautiful with lovely touches. The bath was also a treat! Will definitely be back 😊

A very peaceful oasis set amongst the native bush. We loved the bird song and the vista. It’s was comfortable yet retained some wonderful old world charm. A great way to disconnect. We’ll be back. Thanks Nicola and Kent.

Absolutely loved this cabin! Beautiful quiet rural location. The cabin is lovely and cosy, and the sauna and outdoor bath are amazing. It’s a great place to unwind and relax! Te Aroha is a very cute little town and the hot springs are worth a visit.

We wanted a pretty, peaceful and relaxing place to stay and this was perfect. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable bed, deliciously relaxing hot tub….. everything you could need was catered for. Waking up to magpies warbling , cattle mooing , and the stream babbling in the background was delightful. The off grid electrics and fire heated hot tub were all easy to operate. Thank you Vivian, Barry and family for a wonderful stay at your beautiful piece of paradise ! We would love to visit again and have recommended you to our friends and family .

Für uns war die Unterkunft perfekt, um am nächsten Morgen mit der Fähre, die nur 10 min entfernt ist, zu fahren. In der Unterkunft ist alles Nötige vorhanden. Sogar ein paar Willkommensgrüße wurden für uns bereitgestellt. Das Glas Wein haben wir dankend an dem direkt erreichbaren See am Abend genossen.

Nous vous conseillons vraiment de louer ce logement. Le cadre est incroyable, Sue c'est une personne très gentille, serviable et attentionnée. Nous lui avons aussi acheté des glaces, des fruits et légumes qui sont super bons et frais, un régal. Notre séjour était super!!

A real highlight of our trip to NZ - we are so impressed and inspired by Lee & Terry’s fabulous taste and care of Pau Hana. We felt truly relaxed and taken care of in this space.

John was exceedingly friendly and quick to respond to us throughout the process. We were two Americans traveling by the seat of our pants, and even though this was probably the fourth Airbnb we contacted in our search of the area, we could not have chosen a better place to spend our time in the Bay of Islands. Location was fabulous both for the location and view, as well as for the simple amenities provided. Thanks so much!

It was such a lovely stay at Michael and Linda's Eco Bach. Beautiful property and view if mount Taranaki. Peaceful and private, very homey and comfy. couldn't ask for a better country cottage experience. 😊 Linda was very kind and accommodating since I arrived later when it was dark, she went out of her way to go to the property to turn on a light so it wouldn't be patch black by the time I got there. Thanks again! Would love to come back someday!

Lovely little spot out of town, nice and peaceful. We had an excellent sleep, and enjoyed feeding the sheep and pigs while we were there. Great spot to have a bbq and roast some marshmallows. The shower pressure was so good and much appreciated after a day of travelling and hiking.

We are on a roadtrip around North Island. We started 2 weeks ago. And our 2 night stay at the cabin was just what we needed: a relax-day. The weather was great, the view over the sea phantastic, the family wild turkeijs walking around our cabin so nice. We did a small beach walk and most of our time we sat on the veranda. Sometimes looking through the binoculars. We did nothing. We felt at home. Andrew gave good and complete instructions before we came in. We felt it nice that we have met Christine. She informed us friendly about her farming and about the environment. Thank you Andrew and Christine for your hospitality 😊

Had an amazing stay at Gavan’s place. Amazing spot conveniently located by the best beaches the peninsula has to offer, there’s plenty to explore. Mostly importantly, Gavan was a great and helpful host who was always happy to share his local insights and suggestions throughout our time there; his friendly pets were another highlight! Highly recommend this place!

Mike is a wonderful host. We had the option of checking in early and checking out late if we wanted to. The cabin looks even better in person. It’s a perfect place for a week end get away. There’s a shopping center less than 5 minutes away and it’s got everything you need. Very quiet and private area, it felt safe. Mike was very responsive and very helpful ! Will definitely be recommending this place and stay here again ! Thank you

Wonderful return stay to this little slice of paradise

Our roadtrip took an unexpected change in route so we unfortunately didn't make it out to Rachel's place (which we were very bummed about given how cozy and characterful the log style home it!). When I reached out to Rachel she was very understanding, responsive, friendly and even tried to work with us and be flexible with our arrangement- something she was not at all obligated to do. Next time around, we will try to come back- the surrounding area looks enchanting and we are anxious to explore Coromandel Peninsula!! Rachel was extremely helpful too!!

ein Stück vom Paradies...so schön, dass wir spontan länger geblieben sind, als ursprünglich geplant! so ruhig und diese Wiese und die offene, aber komplett überdachte Küche ...wir fanden es super! Es gibt kein WiFi und keinen Strom, aber einen Gasherd und in der etwas entfernten Spülküche auch einen Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach...alles da! Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit👍🏼

Had a great one night stay. Very clean,neat and modern accommodation. Very peaceful location with the best bed. I only wish I could transport this tiny house everywhere I am staying in New Zealand. Highly recommend. Thankyou Dania for letting me stay.

What an amazing little get away. So picturesque, quiet and simple. Amazing views and rustic living just what the soul needs. From soaking in the hot tub under the stars listening to the Moore pork and kiwi to lounging on the deck during the day this place was luxury to us. Not too far from some of northlands amazing coastline. Would certainly recommend.
