Lovely quiet unit attached to main house in beautiful farm setting. Good space for 2 people, probably a little crowded for 3. Lesley was welcoming and showed us around the farm.

Sharlene was an amazing host, her place was exactly as per the discription and all the facilities were working. The kitchen blew us apart with the amount of items it had, felt like a home. Our group felt sad in leaving the place and wished we had stayed here gor longer. Hoping that we will revisit this place again in future

Our family really loved our stay here, it was so peaceful and quiet… the house has homey feel and a hour drive from the beautiful beaches, we loved that the cows were right outside our fence, lots to enjoy! Thank you !

This is a lovely place to stay if you are happy with being down a gravel road in a rural setting, and quite a long way from any shops. The upsides are that it's very peaceful, there are lots of birds around, including quails, fantails and rosellas, and it's a very comfortable house with good amenities and lots of extras, like books and puzzles. BUT you need to be very organised and bring plenty of food, as you can't easily pop down to the shops. It's very convenient for the Twin Coast Cycle Trail. It's half an hour's drive from Kaikohe where you normally start cycling from, and the western trail passes close to the house.

Lovely peaceful spot surrounded by trees and open grassy areas, chooks, a delightfully friendly little dog, birdsong and a great big deck for, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. Very friendly lovely hosts, there for a chat but also left us to enjoy the peace and quiet. This place was perfect for us for a few days rest and relaxation and a base for exploring Gisborne only a few minutes drive away. Splendid beach ten minutes walk away.

I booked this accommodation for my colleagues and they loved it. It was a perfect place for what they needed while working away from home. Excellent communication with the hosts. Would definitely book again in the future.

Brilliant spot to disconnect and unplug from the world. Host was amazing in terms of comms, and let us arrive and unwind. Booklet of instructions for the woodfired tub were perfect, and the compost loos too. It was a great location and a really wonderful spot. We massively appreciated the time we had and would love to come back again, maybe when the clouds aren't visiting, so we can take in the stars too.

During our 2 week stay in the North Island we stayed in 6 Airbnb's and this was our stand out favorite. Possibly the best time to stay in an Apple orchard with the tree;s laden with apples just ripe for picking. Thank you Tracy will definitely recommend yours as a premium stay in NZ.

I've stayed in many air bnbs over the years but this one has to be my favourite of them all. John And Sue left so many personal touches. They were incredibly kind and accommodating and were absolutely lovely with our children as well. They showed us all around the farm and let the kids feed the animals which they loved. The space as well was incredible. So comfortable and relaxing with amazing views all around, and just a short drive to Raglan. Our only regret was not booking for longer.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Rose Cottage. It was a perfect ending to a wonderful vacation. Michelle was extremely helpful and even brought us carrots to feed the mini ponies!

Fabulous place to stay. Our doggos had a fenced in area, although we only let two loose as the third is a Houdini! It was great letting them run around and get some exercise after staying in the car for hours. Great location (although the road works was a pain but that is nothing to do with Charlotte!), and we zipped into town at night. Beautiful views, beautiful gardens, just a lovely place to stay thanks to Charlotte.

De accommodatie is heel mooi, comfortabel en prachtig gelegen. Carmel en Dan zijn uiterst gastvrij en doen alles om het hun gasten naar hun zin te maken. Ze hebben ons veel tips gegeven over de regio en de rest van NZ. Het huis ligt op een prachtig terrein, met vele fruitbomen, met heel lekker fruit en een mooi eigen meer, waar je op kunt kanoën. Ook de dieren (2 schapen, 1 geit, kippen, eenden en de lieve hond Sammie) maken het speciaal. We hebben hele fijne dagen gehad en we zouden zeer zeker een volgende keer weer boeken bij Carmel en Dan.

Hunts Farm is highly recommended if you intend to visit the various caves around Waitomo & nearby attractions. The interior is modern, clean, practical, and well equipped. As it is set on top of a hill surrounded by farm land, it is very tranquil and has beautiful sunrises and sunsets. New World Supermarket, pharmacy, food outlets, petrol stations are a short drive away. Thank you Emma for being a gracious and friendly host.

My group and I had a great time at this house. it was easily able to accommodate 10+ adults and had space for all of us to relax and make the most of our time there. Barry was a great host, very responsive to messaging and flexible with our groups requests. We would happily come back.

Wonderfully set up place set in a lovely quiet location. House was exactly as described in the listing and photos. One of the best places we have stayed. The only suggestion would be an umbelrella on the deck so when we relaxed with our wine and cheese, taking in the peace and quiet, we had some shade. (I know, first world problems! and the back deck was shady, just not so close to the grass for the dogs) Loved the cow theme all through the house.

Excellent accommodation. The host is also super easy to deal with. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Paeroa region.

Lovely, tidy apartment that’s much bigger than we anticipated. Well appointed for our stay, and an incredible view! The property is set into a hill with deer and alpacas grazing which is a lovely vibe.

This is one of the best AirBnB's I've ever stayed at. The cottage and its views are stunning. The hosts are such lovely people, and have wonderful, friendly pets that may say "hello" to guests who are animal people. I had such peace and privacy while staying at the Cottage. It really does have everything that you need, so it felt like a home away from home. This is the place to stay if you want to enjoy a luxurious-feeling countryside retreat. I look forward to going back for another stay soon.

Great spot not far from the city for a get away. Nicely presented with some lovely little touches. Dip the pool was great.
