John was a lovely host, always friendly and up for a chat when we caught him. The house is in a great location & super easy to find! Albie, their cat, is the sweetest boy ever and often came over for snuggles! Would recommend staying here if possible :)

Mit eine der schönsten Unterkünfte in denen wir hier in Neuseeland waren. Der Ausblick war einfach nur traumhaft! Wir haben jeden Abend auf der Terrasse verbracht und den Sonnenuntergang beobachtet! Alles war sehr sauber und die Küche war voll ausgestattet. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans le logement. Nous avons été si bien accueillit ! Beaucoup de petites attentions (tomates du jardin, un delicieux crumble !). La maison en bois à beaucoup de charme. Il y a de la place. Le chien est adorable 😊 Merci pour cet accueil !

Wonderful place. Clean and comfortable with everything needed to relax, cook meals, and do laundry. Close to a supermarket and restaurants and a great base for exploring the National Park.

David and Lynn are truly delightful! Their accommodations were the perfect place to stay in Tairua. With a warm welcome and a clean, well equipped guesthouse steps from the water we couldn’t have asked for more! We hope to return someday and will recommend their place to others. We had a very comfortable stay at Yolanda's place. We met Yolanda shortly after checking in and she was very welcoming and friendly. The space is larger than we imagined and lovely and clean throughout. The area itself is very peaceful as it is located outside the main area of Auckland but close enough to see everything of interest. We had our own parking spot which was convenient for loading and unloading luggage. We would book to stay again.

Very clean, comfortable bed, good shower, great tea/coffee/hot chocolate facilities. Good off street parking. The flowers were a nice touch. Would stay again, thank you.

This was a one night stopover on our way to Auckland. We told Bev in the morning that we were going to be late arriving but no problem. Bev said she would leave light on and door open. We arrived on schedule and were really impressed with our accommodation. Even though it was late, Bev and Ed called over to check that everything was ok. After 7 hours of driving it was nice to chat to them before hitting the bed. When we awoke early the following morning for our mountain walk we were more than grateful for the provisions Bev had left us but more particularly the brown bread. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. When we informed the hosts that we're arriving late with an infant, we were pleasantly surprised to see the portacot set up ready for our sleeping baby. It was extremely helpful. The location was great too, within 20 mins walk to Ponsonby with lots of great restaurants and cafes. Campbell was very friendly and provided local recommendations which we immensely appreciated. We would return to stay again.

Amazing place and neighborhood! Moira was extremely responsive and helpful, and the guest manual she provides is an amazing guide to the Parnell neighborhood! Her home was really beautiful and cozy. She kindly let us store our luggage for a few hours after checkout, because the times were’t quite lining up in terms of where we were going next. We’d highly recommend this place!

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and my daughter loved the trampoline. The location is convenient for mountain biking at the redwoods. We missed being able to cook (no stove) but the kitchenette and the fridge is good enough for breakfast &sandwiches. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
