Great place, you feel right at home with your family, for those who live in apartment style homes. Nice mountain views from all rooms, good food and nice big confectionery store right next to the property is very convenient.

This place is just what I wanted. It has everything I need, and the vibe is so calm and relaxing. I visit Dehradun to rest, and this place makes my stay even better. Everything I need, like groceries and vegetables, is close by. The biggest mall in Dehradun is only 600 meters away, which is very convenient. I felt very safe here, which is important to me. The host is very helpful and didn’t make the place too fancy. It feels like home and gives you the freedom to enjoy your time. I hope everyone who stays here follows the rules because places like this are hard to find. The Peacock Perch is a wonderful place, and I’m so happy I found it.

I enjoyed my stay at Aavya and appreciated the warm hospitality of the entire team. Aavya was so much more than just a place to stay. From the pottery classes, cooking classes, garden and open spaces it felt more communal and homely. Divya, Shivanya, the cook and entire team were always so friendly, welcoming and helpful! The hosts were super communicative and made it so easy to arrive. It was tucked away in upper tapovan with beautiful views. The rainfall shower was great as plenty of warm water after my long trip! The food was excellent and very well priced. It was within walking distances to other cafes in case one wants a variety. Thank you Aavya team!

The place was worth every penny spent. It was spotless, well maintained and felt just like home. Wish I could give an extra star for our host Ashutosh, who is a gentleman. He was there before time to greet us personally, explained everything in detail and even asked us for any additional requirements we may have that he can fulfill. The photos don’t justify it enough as the place looks even better in person. Would definitely love to visit Ashutosh’s place again.

This place was a home away from home for us in all words and senses. We enjoyed our stay as it had all the listed amenities and provided us a home-like comfort, where we could cook, work from home and stay in a tranquil yet easy to access area. Akhilesh has been super helpful as a host, his clear instruction through a detailed manual, responsiveness via texts, and curation of his place, all are top notch. We would love to come here again and stay for a longer duration. I would highly recommend this place for longer stays.

Good property, peaceful, close to IT park.

Totally recommended. Had a great experience. It’s a beautiful, clean apartment in a fantastic location. The balcony view is just so beautiful. The property in fact offers more amenities than those mentioned in the list and has all the necessary facilities like clinic, general store, restaurants on walkable distance. The host was responsive and friendly. Would love to stay here only if I happen to visit Dehradun again.

Nothing to complain.. so perfect stay.. will be difficult to find a better homestay.. Everything was available in the kitchen.. TV, ACs, weather was pleasant so we didn't have to use AC. so many things to do in the society.. playground for different games, gym, open gym, clean air due to great location.. awesome view from balcony.. This homestay is amazing! The room had everything we needed and an incredible view as well. We sat on the balcony and watched the river go by. There is also a place very near where you can bathe in the Ganga. It was a deeply relaxing experience. But what makes this home stay shine is Shiv and his family. We immediately felt at home. Shiv’s wife and daughter are wonderful cooks. We loved every meal. Shiv’s son took us around Uttarkashi Introducing us to the many beautiful temples within the town. It was magical. Shiv helped us organize taxi’s and anything else we needed. Truly a gem!!!

The stay was okay good environment and good place everything was nice but the only issue was of smell there was continuous smell from the bathroom and was hard to handle
