I have so many great things to say, so to keep it short I'll bullet point. - Great location/community - Private - Friendly and responsive hosts - Clear instructions and tour - Clean and comfortable - Felt very welcomed - Also a bonus of a cat that sounds like a sheep :) Planning to go again, later this year. Would highly recommend

we had a lovely break at the foxes den shepherds hut . The views are amazing and the area is beautiful . everything was as explained by Viki and it couldn't have ran any smoother. Our Shepherds Hut was Very Clean and beautifully decorated and the Easter Eggs were a lovely touch. We will certainly be back and would reccomend to anyone who wishes to explore the beautiful Devon countryside and Coast line.

Last minute Valentine get away with our two dogs. Despite pretty grim weather, you couldn't have wished to be anywhere cosier. Surprisingly spacious and everything you could think of, provided for a weekend away. Basic breakfast foods provided and of course Juliet's famous delicious short bread and doggie welcome treats.Private garden space adjoining a wood and secure field. Dogs roamed and played freely and safety. Bring lots of dog towels if you expect rain. Lovely shower in the cabin. Very well designed compost in a separate cabin. We kept close for dog exercise but there seems plenty of options for walking.. especially to pub...It's between 40 to 50 minute walk away. So many birds. Wow! I cannot rave enough about this place. Me and my partner had an amazing weekend. The check in was super simple. Gill’s communication was wonderful and she was ever so sweet. We felt left to it which was wonderful and sitting in the hot tub and looking at the stars was such a highlight! The hut was lovely and warm and the bed was so comfortable! Definitely one I would go to again ❤️

Perfect location for exploring Shaldon and Teignmouth, the hut was cosy but had everything you needed, toilets and showers were seconds away and were v. clean, would say the bed was a bit hard but all in all was very happy with my stay and would recommend!

A fantastic stay, a beautiful location totally quiet from the surroundings. The actual place is perfect, the fire instantly warms the whole area and will last for hours. Everything you can need is provided ready and James and Megan reply and offer help before you can think of it! Fantastic place would love to stay again!

Lovely three nights in the hut. The campsite itself is nice and tranquil. It's perfect for the kids as there is a small farm at the bottom. Nice little setup for a short break. Toilets and bathrooms which were shared were kept clean and relatively new. Can't fault the stay. Shaldon and Teignmouth were enjoyable places to visit including taking the Ferry to Teignmouth which the kids loved. Would recommend if you stay to make sure you bring thick duvets or sleeping bags and possibly hot water bottles if the temp drops overnight. Overall a fantastic visit.

This is my second time staying here! As expected we had a perfect weekend! It's easy to get to the location is beautiful we went on some coastal walks and explored the area. The shepherd's hut is so lovely and warm despite the cold weather. Its a short walk to the beach and the coastal path. We walked along the coastal path to Dawlish and if you don't fancy walking back there is a regular train! We went in the hot tub 5 times in 3 days which was lovely and relaxing! Its a beautiful private area in the sunken gardens and would defintley go back again!

We had the most wonderful break and wish we could have stayed longer. Lecina was a brilliant host, helpful and communicative. The cabin exceeded all our expectations. It was in a tranquil and peaceful location with wonderful views and easy access to the river Mole. The cabin was of an extremely high standard, impeccably presented and spotless. It was below freezing but we were warm and toasty throughout. The cabin has everything you could possibly need and the personal touches and welcome gifts were very appreciated. We saw loads of wildlife with highlights being Siskens, Coal Tits and buzzards. The hot tub was easy to use, spotless and spacious. We loved watching the sunset. We chose to spend our time around the cabin as opposed to hiking as it was just so relaxing and peaceful. I will recommend to friends and we will definitely be back for some more peace! Thank you Lecina for making this a brilliant stay, what a gem!

Beautiful location, private with views over countryside and sunsets towards Salcombe. The facilities were as expected, hot water, wood burner and small kitchen - everything we needed. We walked to Salcombe for lunch (an hour-ish to the foot ferry), borrowed the kayaks (stored close to water and very easy to use) and enjoyed the beauty and serenity of paddling up the creek to the estuary for a picnic on the beach. Weather was great so that definitely helped. Becky was very responsive and helpful. Recommended

We had such a genuinely nice couple days at Simons cabin! The cabin was so cute, cozy and clean, Simon left us with everything we would need, instructions on anything we may need and stayed in contact in case we needed anything. Everything worked perfectly and the fire was very easy to use and kept us toasty in the cold weather as well as our evening in the hot tub which was so lush with the fairy lights around us. We had the most friendly cat keep us company who was always down for a cuddle, it was a perfect location surrounded by so many beach towns and villages as well!! Overall would definitely recommend and stay here again. Thank you for having us x

Second visit this year💗 This place well and truly has my heart. I’ve never been anywhere in my life that I have felt so peaceful then this place (and I have travelled to so many beautiful countries). Dreamview Shepherd Hut are absolutely breathtaking, I could not recommend them enough. If your contemplating booking, don’t think just book it you won’t be disappointed. Melanie has thought of every little detail you could possibly need. I love this place so much, from sitting in the hot tub watching the stars to laying in bed with the cosy fire lit. I don’t ever want to leave this place. Please keep these huts forever!💗 Thank you so much Melanie and family - you have truly out done yourselves with this venue. And please keep this place forever 💗 P.s - would recommend Culm Valley Inn for food (about 8 minutes from venue)

What a little gem! Me and my husband stayed here for one night and had the perfect little getaway. It was peaceful, relaxing, clean, cosy, comfortable and private, just what we wanted. Gary was a great host, warm and welcoming and left us with everything we needed to enjoy our stay and had the hot tub lit for us in advance. It was the perfect escape, we will definitely be back. Absolutely beautiful environment. Peaceful, relaxing and most of all restful. Louise is a super organized host. Very responsive and truly cared about our experience. As mentioned by other travelers, she has you set up for a successful stay. Maps, torches, reading, material, games etc... The hut is well designed and is very comfortable for 2. Comfy bed! Unfortunately for us we traveled just after the time change in October so we had limited daylight. On the bright side it forced us to stay in for dinner as we were too anxious to drive in the dark on the narrow roads we were unfamiliar with. We had great dinners and enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. It was also so lovely to see the cows grazing up close early in the morning. Fabulous stay. We highly recommend Staying at the Levert

This was a lovely stay- very peaceful, relaxing and cosy. The hot tub was brilliant and the hosts were really helpful with helping us to set this up. The bed was super comfy too. Would recommend :)

I had the best few days at Sallys shepherds hut. It was exactly as described (in fact, probably more roomy than I thought it would be!) Paddy showed me around when I arrived and I could contact them both if I needed anything. The hut had all the essentials that I needed and being able to park right next to it was really helpful. A few days away for some peace and quiet was just what I was after and it absolutely delivered. My spaniel loved the field to run around in too, just opening the door in the morning to let him run outside was nice. The weather wasn’t the best (very rainy) but to come back and light the fire to warm up was great and the hut holds heat well, I wasn’t cold at all. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and I’d highly recommend it. Perfect location for hikes, getting to the beach and some lovely pubs in the village for dinner. The copper kettle is great for breakfast too! I didn’t want to leave! Thanks again Sally and Paddy for everything.

A fantastic stay! This Shepherd hut was spotless! The area is so quiet and friendly. Plenty of walks on the doorstep. The location is fantastic, especially when travelling to Dartmouth. Two pubs serving food within a few minutes walk was an added bonus. Excellent WIFI. Thanks Nina for having us.

Myself and my partner wanted to escape for valentines weekend and what a perfect escape this was! Very private shepherds hut with beautiful views! Had everything we needed for a short getaway! Highly recommend to others who want to escape the hustle and bustle for a bit of respite!

We had an amazing stay at The Hidey-Hole and would recommend to anyone. We booked very last minute, on the day of arrival and it did not disappoint. Lovely and spacious and the driveway and open space is huge, great for our Frenchie to roam around freely and safely. If youre like me and like to be cosy and warm , I recommend you take extra logs, kindling and fire lighters for the wood burner to keep it going. Lisa supplies enough to start you off but we popped to the shop in North Tawton for extra supplies which was just a short drive away. The bed was super comfy and the fresh supplies were a welcome gift. We will be back

Lovely place and hot tub - robes were a nice touch and Emma left milk and tea bags which were much appreciated! Would recommend if wanting a trip to switch off

Idyllic spot in rural Somerset with great views from the side of the hill of a working farm. Cows and sheep grazing in adjacent fields and wonderful view across the valley. An absolutely adorable place to launch into Exmoor from. The hut is exactly as described (and hoped for), warm and comfy even in depths of Feb. The few comms from Alexis were only necessary ones and of great help. Wellies and torch necessities to be embraced in this farming and dark sky location. Bittescombe Inn 10 mins drive away did great food. Return? Absolutely!

Myself & my partner stayed over new years for 2 nights & had a lovely stay, peaceful and quite.lovely town Salcombe not to far full of loads of shops & restaurants. Dennis was a lovely host gave clear instructions on how to get to the location was flexible with checkout and checkin as we had to make last minute changes. The air b&b was a cosy little hut with a gorgeous hot tub a clean bathroom not to far from the hut, hut was warm enough, the bbq came in handy as did the hair dryer. There was beautiful views & horses in fields close by, the stars were amazing from the hot tub clear views for miles exactly what we were looking for. Will definitely be back to stay over the summer, would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in nature.

Really lovely place to stay. Very peaceful and private with nature right on our doorstep. Madeleine was very responsive and replied really quickly to any queries. The shepherds hut was really clean and had everything we needed. The only thing to note is that the oven took a long time to cook food. Apart from that the shepherds hut is a perfect place to go if you’re looking for somewhere private and peaceful. The hut was really cosy and the log burner made the hut really warm and cosy. There is no signal at the hut but it didn’t bother us as it was really nice to not be on our phones and enjoy the hut and surroundings. I would definitely recommend staying here and would come again x
