Beautiful cottage 20min from downtown north bay, quiet street, well furnished, very responsive owners ( had a small issue with hot tub in next few hours host came over resolved issues. Highly recommend

We booked this place for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life to relax and enjoy the calm. This place truly delivered! It was beautiful, cozy and the hot tub sure relaxed us! I would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Easy key pick up through lock box. Place as advertised. Clean and peaceful. Right on the lake. Beautiful views all around. Cottage has plenty of space for large group. Four of us stayed and we would definitely come back again.

We had an incredible stay! The views were stunning, and the cabin itself was warm, cozy, and stocked with everything we needed—and more. The hosts went above and beyond, not only keeping the property well-maintained by clearing the snow but also being flexible with scheduling. They were extremely helpful in guiding us to the best fishing spots, even with the snowstorm making the fishing slow. Made our experience even better. The hot tub was ready to go upon arrival, offering a peaceful and relaxing way to unwind while looking out over the lake. This is a place we’ll look back on with great memories, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again!

This was our second stay at The Canoe and it was fantastic, yet again. Always welcomed with fresh baked bread and treated to fresh eggs during our stay. The cabin is perfect for my family of four. It is super clean and well stocked. Looking forward to going back next year. ☺️

We had an excellent family winter weekend getaway! We did some ice fishing, snowmobiling and skating/hockey down the road at the local ODR. The cottage was a great spot for our family and we will definitely go back and would love to try it in the summer months. Thanks for sharing your cottage with us!

Galyna’s cottage was as described. Everything worked well. The boat ramp on site was very convenient. Great location on the river. Pool table, air hockey, and ping pong table add fun activities. Great spacious cottage for a family getaway. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Cozy house in a very quiet street. Fully stocked, there’s everything you need and more. Very clean too. Shops are close so it’s easy to get groceries. Beautiful region. We had a great time, and would stay there again.

Had a very enjoyable stay here! Loved the peace and quiet. The owner was great to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed.

Très beau séjour, l’arrivée c’est très bien passé, notre hôte était facile à rejoindre pour répondre à nos questions, l’emplacement est magnifique, très belle vue sur le lac et montagnes, maison propre et bien équipé, beaucoup de place pour le confort de tout le monde nous avons passé un agréable moment en famille, nous le recommandons à tous.

Beautiful place on Sausage Lake! The cottage and bunkie are very comfortable. Alot to do like fishing, kayaking, swimming, and the sauna was great! Our family had a wonderful time, and we are looking forward to next year and hopefully many more years to come! We made some beautiful memories. The hosts are great!

not a single issue, host was available for questions, great space , great value and beautiful redone firepit with firewood. lots of chipmunks and ducks. the master bedroom felt like sleeping next to the water with amazing glider rocker Adirondack chairs right out the patio doors for morning coffee.

A beautiful, well curated space with thoughtful details, and everything you need to have a great time! Joanne was friendly, super responsive and accommodating! Her cottage provided the perfect overnight getaway for me and a couple of my best friends! We enjoyed the paddle boards, fire pit, beautiful deck with a gazebo, and spacious interior! My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! The drive in is a dirt road, so take your time (enjoy because it's a beautiful ride!) and be mindful of the bumps. Don't think twice about staying in the gorgeous space!

We had an incredible stay at Lionel’s cottage in Port Loring! The view from the property is absolutely stunning, and the cottage itself was clean, spacious, and perfect for our group of friends. The pictures truly don’t do the place justice—it was even better in person. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking to escape to a beautiful and peaceful spot. We would definitely stay here again!

The location was perfect with stunning lake views and a peaceful atmosphere. The cottage itself was immaculate – cozy yet spacious, with all the modern amenities you could ask for, while still maintaining that charming, rustic feel. The hosts have ensured that you have fun activities for everyone staying at the place. There were Kayaks, Canoe and a motorboat, Firepit with ample firewood, Outdoor BBQ grill, Indoor games, Books, DVD player with lots of classic and popular movies and many more things. Shout out to the Super Hosts Wes and Jana for taking care of the place and guests with smallest requests. They were very responsive and would immediately come up for any help whenever needed, ensuring our stay was comfortable. They would even ask us if we needed anything from the market (like Milk, Coffee, etc) whenever they went out for their work. This was super sweet!! Highly recommend this place to anyone and would definitely love to visit back in the future!!

Great cabin, lots of space for a family of four. Super clean. Everything we needed during our stay was there, although you do need to bring pillows & blankets for the beds at the moment. Lake is beautiful and very quiet. Great fishing & swimming, and kayaks/canoes/paddle boat there to use. Nathalie and her husband were FANTASTIC, fun to talk to and are working hard all the time to keep things running so smoothly. THANK YOU!!

We stayed a long weekend at Kristine’s and it was perfect. We wish we stayed longer. Even on a rainy day there was so much to do in and out of the cottage. They had everything and anything we could have needed which paid off having our kiddos and dog along. From the outdoors having a fenced space for the dog, a perfect kid friendly beach, outdoor games, life jackets, fishing and all your bbq/grill needs. Indoors was a true cottage feel we loved the decor and humour. Kristine went the extra mile to check in and make sure we had all we needed, and ensured we were enjoying our stay. We look forward to coming back again!

this place is everything and more.. its secluded..but close to the lake.. sadly it was raining and we could not visit the lake.. but the cottage had everything we needed.. it was warm anf welcoming.. very clean.. had all the amenities...Darren was soo kind always offering to take us to the lake making sure we knew where everything was.. drew us a map which was helpful..Nadine was really prompt and accommodating of our request.. 10/10 would recommend and visit again..

Amber and her husband were great hosts! The cabin is absolutely beautiful and they left some great local recommendations( the wagon wheel restaurant was amazing and I would highly recommend), my husband and I went up for a week as our honeymoon and they went the extra mile to make it special for us! At the end of the week we ended up having major vehicle issues leaving us stuck and they were super helpful and understanding, Kyle even came out with a generator and battery charger after multiple caa cancellations. Can’t say enough good things about the hosts or the cabin itself. Would love to be back again!

We stayed at this cottage for 3 nights, and it was one of the highlights of our 10 day trip up to Northern Ontario. The rooms were spacious and clean, accommodations were as detailed and everything worked fine. Check in was easy and the cottage is set up in a way that loading and unloading was easy as well. Kayak and paddleboards were fun to use, only wish there was another Kayak as we were 4. Good fishing on the dock and great for one or 2 families All in all, everything we wanted for our trip! Would recommend this place and would also stay there myself again
