Such a quiet and amazing getaway! Jaime-Lee was an amazing host, on our last day there was a storm. He let us check out after the storm had passed! Would definitely recommend his places to stay!

This heritage house in Haileybury is lovely. The property is well maintained by the hosts and very enjoyable during any time of year. A cute sunroom offers a beautiful lake view to enjoy over breakfast. And the outdoor spaces offer additional views of the area.

Wonderful weekend with some friends. We are lucky we got the stay at this beautiful cottage. It definitely has everything you would need for your little getaway. It’s the first Airbnb I see that is so well stocked. We will definitely be going back to this cottage.

Had an excellent stay in South River. The house was great for snowmobiling. Ronald and Irene made me feel right at home.

Beautiful place. Very convenient for our ice fishing weekend. Was awesome coming back to a hot tub. Very friendly people. Overall a great place to stay. Will book there again.

The cottage was comfortable, well-equipped, and very spacious - perfect for a three-generation family get-together over New Years. It’s situated on a large, beautiful, and private forested lot, so the kids had fun exploring and playing in the snow without bothering anyone. An impressive number of comfortable couches and easy chairs to relax in. Everyone loved the hot tub. Overall, it was exactly what we were hoping for.

We had an incredible stay during the long weekend at Paul’s place! The view of the lake and surrounding foliage was stunning, the place was extremely well stocked, and we felt right at home. There were small touches that we found really nice like the wine cooler, heated towel warmers, and a closet filled with fire starting materials. We had the loveliest time and my entire family mentioned many times how much they didn’t want to leave! We would love to come back another time.

Carol was awesome...couldn't ask for better!! We had booked the previous week but had a sudden death in the family. Carol intended to stay at her airbnb the following week but she kindly changed her vacation plans so we could change our vacation stay to the following entire week. We sooo appreciated her sacrifice! The place is beautifully decorated lots of sleeping space and lots of areas for entertainment for large groups. She showed us how to get to the nearest sled trails, did her very best to ensure we had a nice vacation. Hot tub and sauna were a wonderful amenity!! We definitely would stay here again!! Cheers,

From my time conversing with Jocelyn around planing our trip I found her to be a very kind, responsive, and receptive host. As for our stay at The Athena Cabin. It was picturesque and wonderfully cozy for our group of 10. The rent was a little expensive for us, however no part of our experience felt cheap. The kitchen is well stocked. The house was spotless. The neighbours were friendly. The only problem my group had was our lack of preparation for the lack of potable drinking water (2024), which that was easily remedied by a trip to a near by grocery store mentioned by a provided list of important near by locations. Overall, I think the cabin is well worth the price for anyone who can fill it up and is looking for a classier getaway. Everyone in my group had a great time staying here and we would love to come again in the future. P.S - Something she doesn’t mention is how pretty the sunsets is on the lake. It was so beautiful we all went out to see.

The place is great. About 20-25 minutes from New Liskeard, which has everything you need, including great restaurant, 28 on the Lake. The view from the cottage/veranda is beautiful. Cottage has its own boat ramp, which worked well for us. The hot tub was amazing, we really used it a lot. The sauna also worked well. Cottage was clean and everything worked. And, finally, Katrin was extremely fast with her responses and her answers were always helpful.

We had a great Family Day weekend at Lesley’s cozy cottage. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cottage was very clean, beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed for a very comfortable stay. Lesley was absolutely wonderful to deal with, very responsive and accommodating. She provided clear check-in instructions and quick responses to any questions we had. Our family truly enjoyed our stay! We highly recommend this gem of a place!

Can't say enough praise about this place. I was on the fence when booking this because it was 4 to 5 hour drive from Toronto and we only had 3 day weekend to spare. When we arrived at the place we were astonished by the beauty of it. The place sits on the waterfall between 2 lakes. We were using a canoe and kayaks to explore both lakes. We hiked 2 trails. The nights there are amazing and you can see all the stars. We were offered some fresh harvest from the vegetable garden. We used sauna at night and briefly jumped in to the hot tub. Having neighbors cabins close to ours we were not bothered by any of this, despite some reviews saying that it was noisy. We were absolutely happy in our say. 10/10 would book again if I'm on the east coast of Canada and have a weekend to spare. I wish we could stay there more. Patrick and Amy were friendly and helpful, we had great chats and saw each other on the trails.

We wanted a place to stay that was relatively close to Antoine Mountain, and a place that was peaceful and private. We were so lucky to find Alan's place, 15 minutes from Antoine Mountain, and only a few minutes from Mattawa (which had any food and supplies that we needed). We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our experience in the cabin. Alan was very helpful from the time we checked in until we checked out - always respecting our privacy. The cabin had all we needed to be cozy and comfortable. The hot tub was a wonderful perk after skiing each day! We look forward to going back in the warmer months to be able to take advantage of how close the cabin is to various canoe routes and hiking trails. Thank you, Alan, for making it a great mini-vacation!

Very pristine location. Cabin is beautiful. The hosts made our stay very comfortable and answered our requests on short notice. The boats and kayaks provided an excellent experience on water. 5 stars.
