Wow I don't even know where to begin. Lou and Dion were so warm and welcomed us into their house (which is situated on the farm). The highlight of our stay was the farm tour. Highly recommended for BOTH kids and adults. It's a separate fee of 250nzd at our time of stay and it was well worth it. Dion took us up to his farm up on his 4WD and we went up the mountains where the views are unparalleled and we could get up close and personal with the cows, sheeps, and his sheepdog as well. He shared personal experiences as well as interesting facts about the farm. This beats and commercial stay or visit to a farm. Lou was also very welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. We met with a situation where our car was in a ditch and Lou was so kind to send her nephews Isaac and Hamish to help tow us out of the situation. My family is extremely grateful for their help and hospitality. If you're visiting lake tekapo or any of the surroundings, just stay here already!

We had a fantastic stay! Leonie and Danie have created beautiful welcoming well equipped spaces which a so clean and have a real homely feel. We highly recommend this property and if we are ever back in Ashburton we would definitely stay again.

Exactly what we needed for a couples escape from Christchurch. Our second time visiting this gem. Private and comfortable, with an incredibly big bed. I don't think I've ever seen a cleaner place on AirBnB. And the homemade bread and jam was the cherry on top. Thanks so much Tracy for another wonderful stay - we did not want to leave.

The cottage was really lovely and the owner was kind, warm and friendly! Hosted us in person, introduced us to everything in the house. The beds were super comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed, including fresh farm eggs, milk, fruits, bread, etc. The cottage is located in such a peaceful area, and the starry night sky is amazing. Thanks for the wonderful stay, highly recommended!
