We booked this property to celebrate my mums 60th birthday and to say it was perfect is an understatement. We had a lovely long weekend in the hot tub with lots of BBQ’s. We also had 2 dogs and we felt so at ease that they were running around in the secure field. Will definitely be rebooking! Thanks Lucy & Co

What a lovely little cottage with a beautiful view!! We went with our 1 year old twins for a mini moon and had the best time. Rowland was a great host, he sent clear instructions on check in / tide times etc, good communication and gave lots of recommendations for local places to eat / drink etc This is located next to a pub with really good food and an amazing pizza place we ate in along with lots of other good fish restaurants with a short walk to the high street. West mersea is small but with everything you need and relaxing vibe. We took the kids in Colchester one day to a pool and isn’t too far away. We would 100% recommend and would love to visit again. Thank you!!

We had a lovely stay at Amanda’s place which is in a gorgeous location in the countryside with lovely views and walks on your doorstep. The place was even more grand than the photos and was lovely and cosy and the bedroom and bathroom upstairs especially was relaxing and nice comfy bed. She even provided a homemade cake which was delicious! The only thing to note is the wifi/signal for area isn’t great so something to just note if you did need to use laptop/work we found it a bit hard.

A really gorgeous location and place to stay. Very cosy little cottage. Richard and Sue were very clear communicators and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. I'd definitely stay again, and recommend the place to anyone.

It was a real pleasure to stay at Letheringham Mill. Jacqui was a great host, and both provided considerate instructions and recommendations before we arrived, and has thoughtfully stocked the cottage with everything you might need (including a lovely welcome pack!). It was a truly dog friendly stay - our dog would happily have stayed forever (as would my son and I!).

Had a lovely stay at the weekend. was very clean and beautiful grounds. although in photos the sauna looks like its attached to the house, it isn't so that was a little disappointing, also the listing stated it was isolated, but you have a few neighbours next door and around. But we had a lovely time and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a nice break. the playground was a good touch too, my daughter played on it constantly. host was lovely and helpful too.

Watt cottage is a beautiful little cottage which makes you feel at home. The cottage was well equipped with all the essentials needed. Samantha communicated with me when needed and responded quickly. I would definitely recommend staying at Watt cottage. Thank you for a lovely stay.

What a fabulous place to stay, quiet and peaceful with a lovely courtyard are to sit out in - but go out through the gate and you are across the road from the beach or a few yards from the centre of town. We booked it when we were visiting family in the area and will hopefully do so again when we next go down.

We felt privileged to be in such an amazing place. Very comfortable Cottage in beautiful grounds. So quiet and peaceful. The surrounding countryside is spectacular and we enjoyed several really lovely walks in the area.

Fantastic cottage in idyllic location. Photos do not do it justice - it’s a beautiful cottage, full of character and charm. Lovely garden too. Had a wonderful stay and communication was excellent.

Very lovely stay for a one night stay for my girlfriends birthday, was very peaceful and easy to find straight away and would definitely recommend to go again if we’re in/near Woodbridge:)

As soon as I walked into Cissy's cottage I felt right at home, those little homely touches make you feel like you are staying at someones home that cares about you. We really couldn't fault the decor and comfort and the food parcel was the best we've ever had, the host even made adjustments for our dietary needs. The cottage does front onto a road but when inside you couldn't hear it too much and it has a few quirks like a very steep staircase which isn't for the faint hearted but it all added to the charm. The woodland walks behind the property are stunning and were great for us as we took our dog. We spent a little more on this holiday as it was for a special birthday but we couldn't have asked for more.

We had the most wonderful stay at Suffolk Yurt Holidays Cottage. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and at home. The cottage was beautifully kept—clean, cozy, and full of charm, with everything we needed for a comfortable break. Paul was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. The cottage made a fantastic base for all our adventures around Suffolk, and it was something extra special to come back to at the end of each day—warm, peaceful, and beautifully tucked away in nature. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely love to return!

We very much enjoyed our stay. Lovely, clean and welcoming. Set in a beautiful location and the accommodation has been finished to a high standard. Beds are super comfy, WiFi and heating were amazing and everything we needed was available. Only problem we should have booked 4 nights ;)
