Wow I was so happy with the home we felt right at home beautifully decorated all amenities made the experience so smooth. Plenty of good eats and major stores all within 10 mins. Was sad to leave but would definitely stay again when I’m in town!

Great location in a quiet neighborhood, plentiful parking. Close to the main drag and major arteries to get around town, fast food or fine dining not too far away. Beds were comfortable. Kim’s check in/check out policy is pretty good, early in/late out, we had rain getting out but no problem with later checkout. The apartment was clean as a whistle when we arrived. Not a peep was heard from the neighbors. Resourceful kitchen space made breakfast prep easy. We had a couple household hiccups, but Kim handled them quickly and professionally. I’d definitely return on my next rip to Houma.

Super responsive to help with any questions. Clean place and large kitchen. The hot water went out but Kim was very accommodating and was able to get us in a new unit immediately. Would recommend!

Chad was a Great Host. Unit was spacious, clean, and in a Great location. Highly recommend staying in this Unit.

Charles was very friendly and always responded quickly. We went down south for a quick fishing trip and it was just what we need for a two night stay. We were very comfortable. We would stay again.

Mr Charles and Emma were so nice and very accommodating. very peaceful and quiet. If you love the bayou this is where you need to stay!!

Great stay. Everything exactly as described. Pictures accurately reflected the exterior/interior. Check-in instructions and checkout process was easy. Entire group enjoyed our time at Jeff’s place. Would definitely stay here again. Travel note: we stayed mid-August 2024. The bridge is out on Hwy 56 just South of the property at Lapeyrouse Bar & Grocery so be sure to come down Hwy 56 through Chauvin AND NOT Hwy 57 through Dulac when traveling to the property. GPS may send you down Hwy 57 if traffic is heavy in Houma/towards Chauvin but you will not be able to access the property due to the bridge construction if coming down Hwy 57.

Great little private place. From time to time, you can hear them playing music next door. Highly recommend anyone staying next.

This place was just fabulous! Nestled in a wonderful neighborhood(walking distance to gas station for needs/food). Quiet, comfortable, with that second home feel. It sat right on the canal, so getting to watch wild life was such a highlight. Fishing poles were offered on site and home is located close to the boat launch! Had a wonderful covered back porch not screened in(but wasn’t really necessary). Three different outdoor cook top options INCLUDING a pot to do a boil. Had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen, bathrooms were stocked (which was fabulous so I didn’t have to fly in with shampoo etc.) for all the ladies there was a hair dryer available with attachments! Washer and dryer available and worked great. The towels, bathroom and linens were very clean! The locks were super easy to use and fallow instructions. I highly recommend this house and hosts! I look forward to coming back, this will officially be our staple home to rent for every visit.

Blaine’s place was perfect! We had an event to attend at the Civic Center and the location was just about 5 mins away. Very clean, easy to get in and out and very spacious.

This was our second stay at Rick’s place, it was great just like last time! He’s very responsive if you have any questions but his details on the property guide tell you anything and everything you need to know to have a great stay! Very clean and being able to tie your boat up to the dock over night is simply the most convenient thing that I love the most.

Fourth time I have stayed and enjoyed it as always. It was unseasonably cold out on the last day but everything was cozy and warm. Have enjoyed it in the January cold and the July heat equally. Great place!

Had a blast! House was very clean and spacious. Fishing right out the back door. Caught redfish and blue crabs. Joe was very friendly and gave us advice on fishing the area. Can’t wait to come back and stay longer!
