What a stunning vacation property - a home away from home which is clean and fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The property has been tastefully decorated with an artistic flair and Tuscan look and feel. Vanessa has taken the time to ensure guest satisfaction by adding all the little extras (books, games, condiments and basic toiletries, as well as treats and bedding for pets). Our dogs were able to explore the property safely as the entire perimeter of the house is fully secured. If you have binoculars, remember to bring them with so you can enjoy the abundance of birdlife and nature that inhabits the surrounding rocky areas. From a wonderful, sparkling pool on warm summer days to a scenic coastal walk to the Harbour, you can exercise yourself and fur babies as often as you like. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again in the near future. Thanks for all your efforts Vanessa which were greatly appreciated by all.

What a beautiful location in walking distance (one road back) from the beach and lagoon with board walks along the coast. Very spacious and had everything we needed. We had a lovely time with our family and kids.

A beautifully designed home nestled in the heart of nature within the secure Romansbaai estate in Gansbaai. Offering a sense of seclusion and tranquility, with neighboring houses set several hundred meters away, yet conveniently located just minutes from Gansbaai village, where supermarkets and restaurants are easily accessible. A short walk leads directly to the very private beach. Elegantly decorated with high-quality furnishings in a muted colour palette, with breathtaking ocean views from every room. Probably one of the few homes in South Africa that faces north for optimal sunlight while also offering a stunning ocean & coastline view with distant mountains—ensuring a captivating nighttime landscape rather than darkness. Master bedroom, situated on a corner with floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic views. Thoughtfully designed (sheltered) indoor braai area. The host is exceptionally responsive and warmly accommodating! LOVE IT!

June’s place really is a home from home. So many wonderful little touches - the plentiful supply of towels and crockery, the lovely artwork and sculptures, and the comfy beds with loads of cushions! The location is ideal - private and peaceful yet very accessible to all amenities. June always goes the extra mile to make us feel at home. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and spotless , the supply of beach towels in the bathroom, and the loungers and braai wood - fabulous! We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this venue to anyone - it is quite large - I believe it could accommodate around 12-15 people if needs be - but it’s very cozy when there’s just two couples. The maintenance is right up to date, the furnishings tasteful and there is so much space (ie no clutter). It feels as if June is almost still living here with all the personal touches. We can’t wait to come again next year (3rd visit) and look forward to the wonderful views over grotto Beach

Kim was so kind and helpful from day 1. We encountered a few obstacles on our holiday (nothing related to the Accomodation) and Kim was really helpful and supportive through it all. She even took care of our laundry bill because the washing machine had errored the day before we arrived. The cabin is soooo cozy and decor is really beautiful. Each morning was wonderful to open the windows and the view of the lagoon from the lounge and main bedroom are great. We were within a 15-20 minute walk from Grotto Beach. A great swimming beach. Kids had a ball. I would definitely recommend the cabin.

A hidden gem - beautiful house that has everything you need. Amazing view, great hottub, very spacious. Leon is very welcoming and helpfull. Just be aware that you are a short drive (15/20 min) away from Hermanus and the nearest stores and the last part of the road is a bit rocky/bumpy. But definitely worth it!

Guy was proactive with communication, weather advice and activity recommendations. Check in with Jennifer was seamless. Guy’s home is lovely. The views are very special. It was most appropriate that the television set is tucked away on the opposite side of the house from the sea views (we never actually switched it in at all). Our family enjoyed the weekend and we highly recommend Guy’s home in Franskraal.
