We had a wonderful Easter weekend in Salisbury! The home was cozy, beautifully kept, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect—peaceful, yet just a short drive to town centre in salisbury to the cathedral and lovely local spots. Perfect for those who want a country lane and country trail walk to stonehenge! Our host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making sure we felt right at home. We’d happily come back again—highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

We didn't want to return home as we had had the perfect stay. This lovely little shepherd's hut surrounded by beautiful farmlands, was just what we'd hoped for and it didn't disappoint! Our hosts Peter and Rachel, were very responsive to our needs, although, gave us our privacy and let us explore the surrounding areas. The hut had lots of little touches to it that made it feel homely and cute, although, functional and great use of a small space. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the hut had heating, wifi and a range of options on the tv after a tiring day of adventures! Excellent stay, would absolutely return, thank you! Already planning our next stay! We found the cabin really easily though it might be tricky if arriving in the dark. Absolutely fantastic location and surroundings. Beautiful views, peaceful, everything you need. It’s glamping so if you’re expecting that then you will be thrilled! Sat outside and had a drink in the sunshine, woke up to a herd of deer crossing the field in the morning. Plenty of great eateries around if you don’t fancy bbqing. The sky at night is absolutely stunning as you would imagine. Had everything we needed and stayed warm and cosy all night thanks to very good quality bedding and the little log burner. Cabin is cosy but we had enough space for our suitcase and the dogs crate too. Really special place and that’s coming from someone who’s not usually a camping/glamping girlie!

Had such a lovely couple of nights at Sue’s. Lovely little place. Very cozy with the log burner. Nice green and peaceful surroundings with lots of wildlife to see. And an amazing breakfast provided in the morning. Would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay with Amanda, she was an amazing host and very welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and we loved chatting with her. We also loved wild swimming with her in the morning. We will definitely be returning!

A very tranquil setting. Lovely comfortable accommodation with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Lovely friendly hosts too.

The 2 ladies that greeted us upon check in were friendly and helpful. the campsite is clean, peaceful, tranquil. plenty of toilet/shower blocks which were clean, modern and accessible whenever my family needed. all guests very friendly. as for the shepherds hut, it was warmer then expected with plenty of room and storage under the main double bed. mattress very comfortable and 2 single beds which could fit up to 5ft 2 child on comfortably. if your on a budget i would recommend arranging food (there is 2 electric hob perfect for pasta) as a family of 4 we walked to nearest pub restaurant st peters finger, was nice but pricey and limited menu. highly reccommended for short stay (1/2 nights) with local links for things to do

I had a lovely few nights at Franks place, great hosts. A cosy shepherds hut with all the amenities you need readily accessible in a peaceful location. I had a lovely time looking at the stars from the deck outside with the fire going to keep warm. Breakfast was amazing, croissant with jams, fruit and yoghurt bought to the hut, with everything you needed to make a tea or coffee already there. Would definitely stay again if passing through the area.

We had a brilliant weekend in New Forest. The accommodation was perfect and just what we were after. Very cosy and peaceful and fully equipped with everything needed. Nested in a beautiful garden area, we loved the bbq and the tables and chairs outside for sunrises and sunsets. The surrounding area has lovely walks and beautiful scenery. Lots of trail paths and forest areas and river creeks and animals. Isabel was a fantastic host; very welcoming and friendly and made sure we were comfortable and felt at home. Plus homemade sourdough bread and condiments were such a treat! Will be back again without hesitation!

My son and I had a wonderful stay. It was just what we needed; relaxing, beautiful surroundings and very close to the beach. Tim was a great host and we will definitely return.

Perfect place to have a few days get away from busy city life. Host are very friendly and responsive. This is our second time visiting and we’re sure that we’ll come back again! Definitely recommend to go!

Tom and Lucy were fantastic hosts - really went the extra mile to make sure we had the best time possible. The cabin is lovely and in a great location with the brewery next door! We really enjoyed the hot tub also. Had an absolutely fabulous weekend and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay ☺️

This was such a great experience from beginning to end. We had a lovely open view across a large meadow area where we saw hares and deer. We barbecued, used the firepit, splashed in the hot tub, and generally relaxed. Everything we needed was provided - we just brought our food and drinks. There's a walkable pub (~45 minutes away) and shop next to that. Laura was very friendly and helpful. We couldn't have had a better time, short of someone posting a winning lottery ticket through the door as we slept.

Very large hut, with dry toilet & shower cubicle in the hut. Full couch. Very comfortable mattress. Enclosed field area for the dog to run free. Hot tub was easy to manage (very clear instruction). Kitchen well equipped (4 hobs, cafetière, pots, pans, colander, grater, sharp knives, kitchen towels, etc) but no microwave because it's 12 volt electric from solar ( no standard plugs, just USB ones). There is a BBQ grill and pizza oven outside with the firepit. Wood was provided for everything. The horses made for good company. Good spot for star gazing and bird watch. Mo and Ann have been friendly, proactive and helpful. GOOD TO KNOW: The hot tub will be filled with fresh water when you arrive, so there is no chlorine. It's your responsibility to heat it with the provided logs. This process takes around 1 1/2 hours from cold. The water stays at about 36 overnight if covered so reheating is quicker. The kettle is stove top kettle so it takes a while to boil.

We booked both Shepard’s huts to stay with family. They were spotlessly clean, the kids loved the wood pile and we made use of the BBQ / fire pit. Thanks for a lovely stay, we’ll be back

Myself & my daughter had a very memorable stay in the shepherd’s hut. It was so lovely & cosy & having the hot tub for the evening was great fun. Overall it was a lovely experience. Thank you!

We had an amazing time staying in Emily's shepherds hut. The hut itself was beautiful inside and really cosy but still plenty spacious enough for two people. The swan pub was a great recommendation for food and drink and was only a 20 second walk away, perfect for stumbling back to the comfy bed in the hut after a few.

We had a relaxing and peaceful weekend in the shepherd hut! We woke up to see wildlife and especially pheasants strolling past our door. It was well located near lymington.

We stayed for 1 night, and I cannot recommend enough. All of the little details make this hut feel really special and comfortable. It has every thing you need (and more!). Mandy was more than happy to help when we needed something during our stay. We wish we could have stayed longer and would love to come back!

The accommodation was great. Super clean and nicely decorated. Wouldn’t say it was a shepherd’s hut though, more like a hut but it was beautifully decorated and super clean. Lovely walk to the local pub and you look out to the New Forest.

We stayed for two nights and had a peaceful, comfortable stay. The hut was easy to find and in a great location with everything you need nearby—a convenience store, a Chinese takeaway, and a pub literally next door, which made things super convenient. The hut itself was clean, well thought out, and cozy. The separate entrance and private parking made it feel nicely self-contained. It’s an easy walk to the beach and just a short drive to several hiking/ scenic spots. Louise was proactive, gave clear instructions before arrival, and was very responsive throughout. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Angela’s. A luxurious and romantic cabin with everything we could’ve needed. ‘Holly’ has a super comfy bed and we loved the wood fired hot tub, log burner and wildlife on the doorstep. Watching the stars at night from the hot tub was magical! We would definitely come again and recommend to our friends. Angela was really helpful and friendly and she has done a fab job with the cabin and fitting everything in to the space in a clever and stylish way. Thank you for an amazing and memorable weekend. A lovely place to stay and within walking distance to Lacock! Could not fault anything, and the extras (hamper, milk, bread, eggs, butter, cold water and wine!!) were what made it extra special! I’ll definitely be back!!!!
