Most incredible stay ever! We will be booking to come here every year from now on!! Couldn’t ask for a more beautiful place to stay

Had the best stay at Denise’s lodge. Denise was very helpful and responsive with any questions I had. The hot tub was amazing, the area in which the lodge is based is very private. We were even welcomed with some gifts she had left for us and provided plenty of snacks which was just above and beyond what we expected. She even put a birthday banner up as it was my birthday just to make it feel that more special. The lodge book was very helpful providing us information about local shops, restaurants/takeaways and things to do around the area. Overall was a very positive stay with a brilliant host. Beautiful lodge, clean , warm and welcoming . We had a lovely time walking in the forest and relaxing in the hottub stargazing during the evenings. Would thoroughly recommend Tree Tops Lodge for a few days relaxation away from it all. Thankyou Kelly

Just arrived home after a wonderful stay at this little lodge. Exactly as described in the listing/photos, and Tracey had even set out some little Christmas decorations to make it feel more festive and homely (as we were there for Christmas). The new park facilities (soft play & swimming pool) are FANTASTIC for kids, we were there with our 18 month old and he loved it, but there was loads for older children too. The shop on the site isn’t open between November & February but there’s a co-op a mile away, and we didn’t eat at the restaurant onsite because we went out to some nice local pubs, but it looked nice enough. The lodge is in a really nice position not really overlooked by anyone else, and felt very spacious & homely (with proper central heating too). The hot tub was also a winner! The kitchen is fully equipped and the TV has ALL the apps plus regular freeview TV channels too (I read an earlier review that said no normal TV but this must have been updated!).

Beautiful stay, extremely peaceful with lots of nature and animals around. Very responsive host, provided information booklet for suggestions on where to go during our stay. Would definitely recommend, thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at The Nook and wished we’d booked an extra day! The secure garden was perfect for our dog, allowing me to fully relax in the outdoor tub. Check out flexibility was much appreciated. A fantastic trip - we’d love to return!

It was the perfect spot for what we wanted. A nice relaxing trip away, we were only a short driver from both Bath and Bristol so the location made it so easy to see 2 beautiful cities, before coming back to the peaceful privacy of our cabin

We had a wonderful time celebrating my wife’s Birthday at Duncan and Jackie’s beautiful cabin. The cabin was an ideal size for the two of us and our dog! Situated on their small farm with plenty of space for the dog to run around carefree and enjoy herself, it was ideal for us all. We loved how cozy and homely the cabin felt and its location was so peaceful, the log burner was a lovely touch too, perfect for the chilly evenings this time of year. Also a thoughtful birthday treat from Duncan and Jackie, a tasty cake and birthday card gave a fabulously personal touch to the visit. It was never too much trouble for them to provide plenty of recommendations for local places to visit, for food or must see locations. We particularly enjoyed our meal at their local pub The Bathurst Arms upon Duncan’s suggestion. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit at The Summerhouse Cottage and would definitely return again when in the Cotswolds.

A compact cabin in a perfect location, with lovely surroundings, good for dogs and all that you need for your stay.

We really enjoyed our time in the cabin. The view over the hills at sunset is stunning, especially when sat in a hot tub. The kitchen had all the essentials, even some free eggs from the hosts chickens! The field next to the cabin featured horses, sheep, chickens, dogs and even a cat. All round this stay met all our expectations and we were very happy with our spent here.

This is such a wonderful quiet place, the accommodation is brilliant with the pods over looking a valley vacated by sheep, goats, highland cows and alpaca. The surroundings offer loads of walks and you are so close to all the highlights the Cotswolds has to offer. The staff are very friendly and assist when / if needed.

The cabin was welcoming, isolated and simply stunning. Belinda was such a lovely host and went above and beyond to make sure my needs were catered for. Her communication was great from the moment I booked up until me leaving. She is such a thoughtful person, giving me directions and local information or pubs and so I could take my two chows on a fantastic walk through the nature reserve. She even provided extra towels for them. I am thankful she kept her eye on the weather as a storm was on its way and when the brook was due to flood. She even advised to move the car so it wouldn’t get stuck. She absolutely went above and beyond during my stay. The array of coffees and teas were spectacular and the cabin was so well catered. The shaved chocolate to sprinkle on top of a hot coffee after a long walk was a delight. The birthday cinnabun and card was an unexpected treat, thank you for that, it made my day. Will be staying again for sure. Thank you so much for making my birthday special

Esme was very helpful from the get go, she helped me prepare for a surprise bday trip with balloons and flowers, Esme even contributed with a personal card on her behalf. The wine tasting was really good too! And allowed us to BBQ (bonus) we will definitely return here!

Geoff as a host was superb. Constantly in communication with us before arrival and met us when we got there. Left easy instructions and some nice touches with a bottle of prosecco and a little bottle of milk etc. The place is immaculate and beds really comfy. The varanda is cute, with tables and chairs, perfect for a morning coffee. Perfect location by the water either a short uber to Stratford or a river taxi by the complex. The complex has a lovely bar and restaurant with reasonably priced food, which was also delicious. A proper home from home and could not recommend the place or Geoff any more. Superb host. Will be going again!

I took partner here for valentine's day and what a great decision. Louise was very understanding with us as we were much later than hoped to check in. When we arrived we were surprised with a welcome hamper full of essentials and food which made a super nice addition to our stay. The cabin was even better than how I imagined. Everything was spotless and amazingly clean, especially for someone like myself who is clean obsessed! The cabin was extremely cosy and all the facilities were perfect. It felt like a very private getaway in a lovely area surrounded by countryside. The local recommendations of local places to try did not disappoint either, I wish we stayed longer to try more of them out. Me andy partner was genuinely upset to have to leave when we did, I wished I booked for longer. I can't wait to book and come and visit in the future. I would recommend the cabin to absolutely everyone and anyone. An amazing experience to which I owe to Louise and the stunning cabin. Thank you.

Cosy & enjoyable stay, looks like we just missed seeing the bluebells, maybe next time!

A weekend at Helen’s property was just what I needed to relax and recharge my depleted batteries. A warm, comfortable and really well equipped place. The sheep were adorable! I would definitely book here again when I need some peace and relaxation.

Brilliant stay! Ivan's place was spotless, peaceful and the perfect place to explore the Forest of Dean. As a family of 5 with 3 energenic boys this was just perfect! Ivan supplied plenty of wood for our stay and was extremely helpful with storing our bikes and helping with queries about the local area! Would highly recommend and we will be returning for sure!

Just the boost I needed a tranquil spot to sit in thoughts and recover from stress . Saw heron and had a lush sun rise coffee on deck I will be back and shall recommend to friends too Thankyou Jacqueline

We enjoyed a lovely stay in the Willow Pod. Everything was immaculate with excellent attention to detail and the surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. The host was friendly and responsive. Definitely recommend.

I stayed here because I’m overseeing a project nearby. These charming shepherd hut/wooden cabins were truly a delightful experience. The cabin itself was beautifully designed and well-equipped, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views that made each moment special. Watching the sunset each evening was a highlight , and I found that it could be a peaceful and rejuvenating place to visit. Thanks to Tom for his hospitality and for providing such a wonderful stayover . I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway.

We were blown away by this stunning cabin. The height of modern luxury. Spacious and very comfy with a fabulous log burner and super comfy lounger sofa. Spacious kitchen with quality appliances. No expense spared here with everything top notch. Superb shower. We really enjoyed our stay here. Vix was really friendly and helpful and the place was spotlessly clean and maintained to the highest standards. Large fridge and large freezer. By far the comfiest accomodation I have stayed in for years. I would highly recommend.
