This is our second time coming back here and it is fantastic! The staff is nice and the setting of the cabin is so calm and peaceful it was perfect for just getting away from the city and enjoying nature! Will definitely come back here again!

We were only there for one night but would definitely go back, great location, friendly neighbors and lots to do!

Absolutely loved the cabin at the lake. It was very well maintained-seemed like it was fairly new. The night light option on the switch in the bathroom was my favorite-I hate having to take a night light to a hotel for the bathroom! The only thing that I would have liked, is some kind of small stand in the bathroom for toiletries and maybe a small stand to place a suitcase on. Will be returning next week-I love it!

I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and pet-friendly retreat with stunning lake views. It was a perfect escape, and I can’t wait to return!

We have a lovely stay here. Clean and tidy place. Lake was also nice. Shelby was very good at communication, the reply was within 10-15 min. I will probably bring my all familiars in the future. We checked in and went to the casino and back at 2 pm.

Loved staying in this special place - a time travel treasure inside! It was so fun to see all the vintage items that Steve and Carrie have collected for use in the matching vintage decor. It is easy to tell that this space (and the other space they also rent) was a work of great enthusiasm and joy. We had the opportunity to visit with them about the trailer and their process of using it eventually as an Air Bnb, and they are so welcoming, friendly and hospitable. The neighborhood is off the beaten path, so it was peaceful and quiet (other than the sounds of nature), which is just what we wanted for a relaxing weekend. Would definitely stay again!

I recently stayed in this BNB for an out of town trip & all I can say is that the stay was so golden & peaceful. The house is located in a nice small neighborhood, so there wasn’t any problems with outside noise nor was the BNB hard to find. The house gives the perfect get away vibes! Inside the house was very nice & it was prestocked with board games & other activities to keep little children or even adults occupied. I rate this experience an 11/10 & I would definitely rebook a stay here!

This cottage is absolutely adorable. It looks exactly like the photos. Scott's place is located a short drive from the downtown McKinney cultural district and you have easy access to other parts of the greater Dallas area. The cottage is attached to a two car garage but I would have have know, there were no sound issues at all. Scott provides very clear and easy to follow check-in instructions. Overall, this is a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay in the Dallas area.

This place is private and peaceful. The parking area is separate from the house and a small walk to the house. There is an erosion net down to help with starting grass. I came from work and had heels on so the erosion net was challenging as it kept catching on my shoes. I also brought a cooler and had to make 4-5 trips to get all my things in. Not complaining, just be aware if you pack a lot like I did lol The house is beautiful and is well stocked. I was impressed with how smart storage was. Hot tub is right by the house and was so lovely to have. Sarah was great with video instructions before the visit and had great walking suggestions for me. There is a nice neighborhood across the way with a pretty walking trail. She was always quick to respond to questions I had. I had a scare with severe storms that came through and she was very helpful in offering several options to prepare. There was train noise, but nothing you can’t zone out with AC or TV noise. Overall I had a great stay!

Really enjoyed the quiet. All the amenities you could ask for and a sense of security once you're settled in for the night. Suzanne's communication from start to finish was upfront and pleasant. Beautiful surroundings with a little hike through the property.

First of all, nicest people on earth. All of them. This is so rare these days for people to stop and be so nice and helpful. The tiny home/ cabin is AMAZING!! If you like tiny homes or want to experience them: this is incredible. It is so clean and so well thought out. The floorplan is too darn good. A Plus! It also has a big covered porch with bbq, table, chairs and a ramp outside. Parking is right at the tiny home. The grounds at the RV Ranch are beautifully laid out. Places to walk and explore: pond, waterfall, animal habitats, seating, great dog park. Super quiet and peaceful. The owners and workers at the RV Ranch have put their heart and soul into this place. You can tell that is the community they draw to their place as well. Unforgettable experience.

This place is quiet, beautiful and is “glamping” for a cabin. High end furniture, cabinets, flooring, gorgeous on the inside. The host was amazing!

We are local and just wanted to get away for a night and this was the perfect place! The cabin was beautiful. We are considering having our wedding there we loved it so much!

We had a great time staying here and wished we had more time available so we could stay longer. The swings next to the fire pit were delightful and the 5 of us fit comfortably in this cute spot.

Super cute and cozy place to get away to read and relax! Snowstorm dropped 7 inches of snow while I was there and the host graciously let me check out late to allow it to melt. Will come back again sometime!!

Such a cute cabin. Keurig w creamers in fridge! Check in directions were just as described. Loved the wood decor. We couldn't use fire pit due to too much raining. We got in late but we were able to get right in. Close parking by the door.loved covered patio.

2nd time staying here and I loved it both times! Very clean and peaceful out there. The host is very kind and responsive. Would love to stay here again.

My wife and I had an amazing weekend getaway at this wonderful and cute caboose!! We are making plans to stay again in the near future. Ashley is an amazing host, she helped us with any issues we had. Her hospitality is amazing and genuine. Thanks again Ashley, we enjoyed every minute there.

nice.. cozy.. quiet area. beautiful scenery. Marley was so nice and helpful. It was very small but beautifully organized and decorated. despite being small it was not cluttered. Whoever did the design really put a lot of thought into it. we had a lot of fun and enjoyed our tiny getaway.great host great house.

We had a great stay. At Oak Meadows you're not meant to remain inside. We dont even know if the t.v. worked. Think tiny and as comfotable as possible and delightfully fun.
