Thandi's home was a beautiful artist's home. Beautiful artwork covered the walls, her backyard was a marvelously overgrown field of oxeye daisies. The open floor plan made it feel very spacious. It had games and books, I think aimed at adults more than kids, but I didn't spend too much time on them because we took a fantastic day trip to Lesotho. The house was perfect!

We had a beautiful peaceful time, the cottage was just the perfect size for our family. The view is spectacular and the walks lovely. We loved the dogs coming to visit and taking us on the walk. Will definitely go back.

Wir haben uns bei Julian gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es hat sich sehr um unsgekümert und uns sehr viele Tips gegeben. Der Ort selber ist einmalig. Wir haben die Ruhe und das Private sehr genossen. Der Hotpot war einfach super. Schon das einheizen und zu später Stunde das Bad unter dem schönen Sternenhimmel war einmalig. Auch das Bungalow und die Umgebung laden zum Verweilen ein. Aus dem eigenen Hofladen kann man Esswaren kaufen und auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich

Had a very nice stay! The view is incredible and the house is nice and cozy. The jacuzzi is a nice addition to the house & will also be great for winter months. Will definitely recommend staying here.

It was a very nice airbnb, great location, awesome views 🤩 Very friendly hosts and a cute visitor 🐶 Nice hiking spots around and near everything you need. Well equipped kitchen however some items (French press and pans for example) could have been better. Thank you for the nice stay. We would visit again!

What an epic experience to ride along the river bordering Lesotho. This made us realize AGAIN what an awesome country we live in. The cottage was great with a king size bed, the stoep has beautiful views over into Lesotho! Our Collies loved running around and got a fright when they heard the horses. We got a huge bag of wood from Yvonne and the wood quality is great for braaiing a skaaptjoppie! We'll be back ASAP!

What a great find Maryke’s place is! Honey cottage is beautiful - very spacious, light and airy with a lovely covered terrace where we enjoyed our breakfasts and a glass of wine. Maryke gave us some great recommendations for hikes to explore. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great until the last day but the cottage is so well equipped and spacious we were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this place if travelling to the central Drakensberg area

If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, Pear Tree Cottage is perfect for you. It has a fully fitted kitchen if you want to avoid the costs of eating out. It also has a beautiful front lawn to picnic on. The bed I slept in was very comfy and the linen was fantastic. The cottage has charm and character and is within walking distance to a easy hike. Fond memories were made.

I had the luck to stay 4 nights at Tugela River Lodge ( Kingfisher cottage and River House) Perfect place to visit The Drakensberg. There is also plenty of activitie's to do directly at the lodge. You will not be bored. The accomadations are full of charmed and well equiped. If I could find one thing to criticise, it would be charging for firewood. I would have preferred to pay a bit more for my home than to have to pay extra for firewood in winter. But in overall very pleased and i would really thank Kyle, he made sure we had a pleasant stay.

I had a beautiful stay at Riverside Cottage. A very well equipped accommodation in a bucolic environment. Kim was very helpful whether it be for the direction to the cottage or to make sure I have everything I need during my stay. The host have a great sense of hospitality and I thank them for that.

We went with our two dogs to escape New Year's Eve fireworks, & stayed for 3 days. The journey from Durban was not much further than the Northern Berg, with the turnoff close to Harrismith & other settlements. However, after a few kilometers of dirt road you are surrounded by farmlands & in a peaceful world of your own. The cottage is unpretentious, clean & homely, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It has an expansive, private outlook in the front but is not totally isolated, with the main house & outbuildings nearby. This only adds to a sense of security & belonging on this most beautiful farm. If our dogs could write a review it would be 5 stars, as they romped about freely in their own massive fenced garden, marvelled at nearby sable & roan antelope, & enjoyed guided walks with their humans. We saw more buffalo than on a game reserve, as well as fish eagles, gemsbok, merecats & remarkably preserved San paintings. Warm thanks to Graham & Nick for their hospitality.

Angelique's airbnb in Windmill Farms was so beautiful and peaceful. The airbnb is super cozy, with gorgeous views all around. Everyday, the staff of Windmill Farms cleaned the airbnb (when we were out) and provided fresh towels. Fantastic service and very warm and friendly people. We would recommend them in a heartbeat. :)

Nice cottage with a great view in really nice surroundings. Kat was very friendly and pointed us in all the right directions - can happily recommend staying here!

I had a great stay at one of the three cottages. Very private location on a working farm. Lovely sitting areas inside and out. Wonderful view of the mountains and simply lovely sunsets. The two bedroom (and two bath) cottage was very accommodating. And the carport is a welcomed addition. It is located down a dirt and gravel road - but easily accessible in any type of car. My 4x2 SUV had no difficulty whatsoever and I quite enjoyed my drive off of the secondary highway. This is what made the cottages more private. If you are visiting Cathedral Peak in the Drakensberg mountain area - these cottages are in relatively close distance - a mere 50 minute drive to some of the most spectacular scenery in South Africa. A great choice for your stay.

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön in Cathkin Park gelegen und man ist ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto im Wandergebiet Monks Cowl. Man hat sich durch die Gastfreundschaft von Hilda und Bill gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt, kleine Probleme wurden sofort beseitigt. Besonders schön war der Pool. Wir haben die Zeit wirklich sehr genossen.

Kerry was responsive and helpful from start to finish. Her beautiful accommodation was such a special experience and I loved waking up and having coffee to watch the sun rise on the mountains. A great location tucked between a selection of parks and walks to explore. Our accommodation was cleaned daily while we were out which was a lovely added benefit.

The cottage was neat, clean, and tidy, with everything that one might need in the kitchen. It was an amazing, beautiful, and peaceful mountain farm experience, with great walking options in the area. We loved the dogs that came to say hello daily. We will definitely book again and for a longer period to do some more exploring. Overall, a lovely stay.

Hilda was so friendly and nice. We felt quite at home.
