A little gem in the heart of Bethlehem

Old Mill was better than we expected. Views I to Lesotho (just across the River) early morning were beautiful. Location of the farm is fabulous. I’ll be back for another visit.

Grace was very friendly, helpful and responsive and sent lots of helpful info before our stay. Her place is in a lovely quiet part of town and makes for a nice walk into the town square and back. We felt at home there for Christmas and it was lovely to chill in the peace and quiet on the comfy couches and build a puzzle which was left out for us, it was so relaxing! Our furkid loved the garden to sniff about and was also quite at home there. Thank you, Grace! :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the cottage was cozy and private, and the view toward Monk’s Cowl stunning. As avid hikers, we were thrilled that the main trailhead was so close. We were impressed by the variety of dining and grocery options within reasonable distance, and enjoyed the evening visits dog and cat friends each evening.Highly recommended , particularly if quiet, seclusion, beautiful surroundings and convenient access to trails and food are priorities.

By far the best place I've stayed in South Africa during a trip through the country. I don't want to go into detail because you might assume I only want to focus on a few things. Everything was better than expected. But I still feel like saying a few things. We had zebras right in the front yard. Never had this much room in an apartment. You feel like part of nature while having all the comfort that you need. The host is just lovely and gives you room if you want it but also helps with everything in case you need her. Thank you for making my trip even better.

David was an excellent host and went out of his way to accomodate my daughter, especially as her travel plans changed last minute. We are very grateful for his kindness, friendliness and for being so accommodating.

Stunning view, friendly hosts, zebras, monkey and baboons. I would recommend to anyone.

Oh what a beautiful & peaceful place to be in. The pictures honestly do not do justice, it’s much more beautiful in person with gorgeous surroundings and the rooms are huge. The restaurant, playground and horse riding being in the same estate are a cherry on top. My family and I will definitely be coming back.

What a great find! Cecil and Tammy were fantastic hosts and we felt right at home. The farm and surroundings creates a peaceful, grounding experience. The little things like coming back from a cold night to a warm fireplace and the lovely rusks left with coffee was a treat. I would have loved to stay longer if my time allowed and will definitely be back.
