We had an amazing stay, feeling right at home in a beautiful bungalow with peaceful surroundings and lots of privacy. Khun Nong is the kindest and loveliest host we have ever had! She immediately made us feel so welcome and had great recommendations, plus she checked in often to make sure we had everyhting we needed. We rented a scooter which was great to explore the neighborhood (that felt so special) and go to the city, but you can easily order a Grab to and from the resort. I couldn't use the Wi-Fi nor my Thai sim card to make some work calls so I went to the city, which wasn't a problem for me, but there is also an amazing japanese café nearby (8 minutes drive) that provides good Wi-Fi. Ask Khun Nong and she'll give you the name 😊 Thank you again so much from both of us for such a lovely stay 🥰

We had the most incredible 2 week stay at Coral Beach Villa. Yui was an amazing host and along with Aum, they made our trip better than we could have ever imagined. We travelled with three young children and the house catered so well for them. Yui was so helpful booking our trips and arranging taxis or trips out with Aum. We would highly recommend the boat trips on offer, these were a highlight for us. The entire trip was so relaxing and we loved swimming in the pool and the local beaches. The local restaurants were great and even delivered food to us when we didn’t want to venture out for dinner. The whole house was kept absolutely spotless by Aum, even with our large group. It had everything we needed and more for our stay. We will definitely be back and would recommend Coral Beach Villa to any of our friends and family. Thanks again Yui and Aum.

This was probably one of our favorite stays. Sure, the house was in excellent condition and very clean, the amenities were on point, the bedding and linens were clean, neat and comfortable, the location was great, but what really made it special was Jan’s high touch and thoughtful hospitality. Staying in his beautiful compound, felt more like joining a community. To our surprise, everything that Jan did was a thoughtful response to our needs (a sick child, a change of plans, etc). Jan’s warm and empathetic hospitality made all the difference. We bring with us great memories because we loved his place and would love to come back, but more importantly we were the recipients of much kindness and feel inspired to pay it forward. Isn’t that what travel is all about?

Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett. Die Unterkunft war sauber und in Ordnung. Lediglich die Straße zur Unterkunft ist etwas holprig und bei starkem Regen ist es schwer mit dem Roller zu fahren und bei sehr starkem Regen fast unmöglich. Ansonsten ist die Unterkunft aber wie beschrieben. Bei Problemen haben die Gastgeber immer schnell reagiert und geholfen.

une expérience authentique dans la montagne thaïlandaise. au milieu de nul part avec une vue à couper le souffle. des hôtes hyper réactifs et de très bons conseils. nous avons passé une excellente soirée. je recommande++++++

It was a unique experience to spend a few days and nights in the middle of nature in this beautiful space. We loved the open kitchen and the sleeping room above looking into the mangrove forest. Anit brought us some fruits and was helpful all the way. We rented his scooter for a good price. If youre looking for a secluded space surrounded by nature this is just perfect. Cadre superbe. Communication efficace et rapide. Hotes et ses employés extrêmement serviable. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et avons pu profiter de la piscine une dernière fois l'après midi en attendant notre taxi.

เป็นอีกหนึ่งที่พัก ที่ทุกคนมาแล้วรู้สึกชอบมาก สายธรรมชาติและ adventure แนะนำเลยค่ะ มีทั้งยิม และกิจกรรมให้ทำเยอะมาก และเช้าๆวิ่งออกกำลังกายได้แบบชิวๆเลย เหมาะสำหรับมาแบบเป็นกลุ่ม เพราะมีทั้งหมด 13 เตียงนอน ส่วนถ้าใครจะมามากกว่านั้นก็จะมีเต้นเสริมให้ แต่ต้องแจ้งทางที่พักไว้ก่อนนะคะ และจะบอกว่าทุกอย่างเป็นกันเองมาก โดยเฉพาะเจ้าของคุณมนตรี ดูแลเอาใจใส่ดีมากเลยค่ะ บรรยายากาศเช้าๆคือสดชื่นไปหมด กลางคืนเงียบสงบ เดินทางไปข้างนอกก็สะดวก มี 7/11 มีตลาดสด อยู่ใกล้ๆ ไม่ถึง 3 นาที มีห้องครัวใหญ่สามารถทำอาหารได้สะบายเลย อุปกรณ์มีครบทุกอย่างจริง ปิ้ง ย่าง นึ่ง อบ 😊 ตัวห้องนอนมีทั้งหมด 3 ห้อง ส่วนห้องน้ำ มี 8ห้อง และ ห้องอาบน้ำ อีก 6 แบ่งเป็นชายและหญิง 😬 มีโอกาสเราจะกลับมาอีกแน่นอนค่ะ แต่น่าจะช่วงหน้าฝน ทุกอย่างคงจะเขียวไปหมด เราจองผ่าน Airbnb นะคะ 4 คืน 5 วัน คือคุ้ม ราคาเป็นกันเองมาก🙏

Absolutely amazing! This place is literally heaven for people who’re tired of city noises, it’s peaceful and clean, has everything you need for comfortable stay😍 Will definitely come back and recommend it to my friends!

The stay at Mae’s farm was absolutely phenomenal. Their farm is grand, with lots of space, spots, hills, and sights to relax to and just take in the atmosphere. Mae’s parents, and staff (P’Ging and P’Mon) were so lovely and amazing. They kept feeding me delicious food and the prices were very reasonable. They took care of me and accepted me into their home as if I was one of their own. P’Now also helped a lot with the logistics and telling me more about Chiang Mai. The coffee chats with Mae and P’Now were unforgettable! What truly left touched me is how all of them constantly invited me to join and be a part of their family (cooking, building, water plants etc.). Coco (farm cat) is also an extremely cuddly part of the family. They treated me as a son, and this is probably the best airbnb experience i’ve had. P’Now, Mae, Mae’s Parents, P’Ging’ and P’Mon are really some of the best people i’ve ever met in my life. I will miss everyone so much and can’t wait to be back in November! ❤️

Noch schöner als auf den Fotos, und die haben uns schon sehr überzeugt. Die Farm ist mit so viel Liebe gestaltet und gepflegt und alle Pilz-Gerichte, die mit den angebauten Pilzen vor Ort gekocht werden, waren super lecker. Der Bungalow war gemütlich, sehr sauber und die kleine Terrasse perfekt zum entspannen. Wir haben uns gefühlt wie im Paradies. Die sehr schöne und entspannte Umgebung kann man am besten mit einem Roller erkunden. Zu der Ausleihe wurden wir extra hingefahren.

To celebrate the New Year, my family gathered in Chiang Mai and stayed at Joy and Joerg’s Airbnb, which was the perfect spot for our reunion. In August, I visited their place in advance, and they kindly showed me around, sharing tips on relaxation, cooking, and massages. In December, the house comfortably accommodated everyone in separate bedrooms. We enjoyed swimming in the pool, relaxing in hammocks, and having a barbecue with fresh meat and vegetables. Their delicious Thai dishes, with separate chili and non-chili plates, were perfect for our family’s preferences. Despite minor issues like rental car trouble and a family member falling ill, Joy and Joerg provided excellent support and advice. Their hospitality made our stay unforgettable, and we left with cherished memories.

This was by far the best stay I had in Thailand so far. The place was great. The houses and surroundings are beautiful! You can also order food directly through Shanana, which is also really tasty. But the best thing about this place, was the staff and the hosts David and Shanana, they are all really friendly, always answer your messages and questions and went out of their way to make our stay amazing!

The Cyngam Resort is a truly unique place to stay and experience the delights of Chiang Mai. Whilst it’s in a pretty rural setting it’s still only 20 mins via Grab taxi and a 25 minute walk to local restaurants and shops. I’d describe the accommodation as ‘shabby chic’ full of rustic charm and character. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, spacious and comfortable although we did experience some noises in a couple of the bedrooms from the pool filter. We also experienced recurring problems with the hot water to the showers although the fantastic Aor and her team did their very best to resolve the problems as best they could. In fact, the biggest positive of the resort was the friendliness of the staff and the hospitality and support given during our stay and also via prompt communication before our arrival in helping us to plan our week. I would definitely recommend Cyngam for those looking for a unique way to stay in Chiang Mai

Initially, I was heavily skeptical because the photo just looked too good and maybe the place wouldn't match the description. But I was extremely wrong. This place not only has a living space that completely blew me away with handcrafted furnitures, but everything is extremely well kept and clean, not to mention the amazing hospitality that we received from both K'Tum and Ed that makes us feel extremely welcomed with their souvenirs, complimentary drinks and breakfast. The best thing about this place is probably the kitchen because there really is every kitchen utensils or tools you need to cook for your family or loved ones, not to mention the vast amount of beautiful plates within the cabinets that elevated our Valentine's date even more. We are extremely delighted to have found, stayed, and enjoyed Rumor has it and will probably come back again in the near future!

Peaceful, rural location. Great restaurants with in short driving distance and provisions shop for essentials within walking distance. Our son loved the pool to cool off after our daily outings. Any questions we had were quickly answered by Carsten. A nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Nanthida and Craig were great hosts, the stay was very spacious and had everything that was mentioned. They were very responsive and helped us with every doubt we had. We left at home. A small downside is the distance from city centre, so we had to plan and shop for everything beforehand. 10/10 Recommend. Great place

Rustige omgeving, maar alles makkelijk te doen met taxi’s. Hele mooie woning met alle voorzieningen die je nodig hebt. Mooi zwembad

Eine einzigartige Unterkunft in bäuerlichem aber hochwertigen Stil im ruralen Norden Thailands. Ein fantastischer Blick aufs Reisfeld und eine dazugehörige Katze machen das Bild komplett. Die Gastgeberin ist unheimlich freundlich und hilfsbereit (Restaurantempfehlungen, Essensbestellungen, Taxibuchung,…). Es ist vorteilhaft ein eigenes Fahrzeug zu haben, aber kein Muss. Wir hatten keines, aber Taxis kann man über die Gastgeberin vorbestellen (Grab und Bolt gehen nicht), mit den Fahrrädern fahren oder auch mal eine Strecke per Anhalter. Einziger Negativpunkt - es liegt rückwärtig an der Hauptstraße, so dass der Verkehr ein wenig zu hören ist. Gehört aber in Thailand wohl dazu - eine authentische Unterkunft eben.
