lovely place for our family getaway. views of the water were excellent for seeing the tide and best time to walk along beach. the complex pool and spa was a bonus especially for our todler. clean tidy and appreciated it was well equipped with your basics, these little extras made it feel home away from home. thanks for having us

Loved the spa! Inside was really spacious and everything we needed was there. Even had some bits and pieces provided for us for breakfast. It was a great spot for us to come and go from for the couple of days we were there.

Perfect spot for Whitianga adventure, just down the road from all the restaurants and all the cool spots. So peaceful and quiet you can sit and watch all the boats heading out and coming back... even listen to the birds arguing on the estuary...

We had a lovely time at the Airbnb, super clean, super comfortable beds, had all the amenities/appliances needed and the appartement is in a great location. The door code makes the stay very easy as well (flexible arrival time and no key to share). I would 100% recommend this Airbnb with a lovely and accommodating host!

Beautiful space with great access to beach, local shops. Friendly, generous host. We would definitely come back here again--and would recommend to friends without hesitation.

We loved our stay here. The place was very clean, and our host checked in daily to see if there was anything we needed. It was just a couple minutes walk from the beach, which was beautiful and often there was was only one or two people walking so it felt like our own private beach.

We were looking for a beach property to just wind down for a few days, and we certainly found it. The photos of Robert and Maranda's place on Airbnb say it all, but once you get there, its the 'sound' of the beach that sealed it for us. We simply dropped our bags and went for a walk on the beach. Greeted the next day with an amazing sunrise, right from the door !! Great set up and layout inside. Really comfortable. It just worked for us, and as silly as it sounds, the little night light in the bathroom is brilliant ! Everything local ( shops, cafes, restaurants) is all within easy reach. Robert & Maranda's place is in a great location, with the beach side town of Whangamata a short walk behind you, and that awesome beach & bay right in front of you. Lastly, Robert, cheers for the tip for a great meal out on a Wed night !

You want to stay here. The location is amazing and the house is well stocked and comfortable. If you’re looking for a charming beach house with a great location, this is it. You truly are right on the beach and the sunrise views can’t be beat. There is a great restaurant within walking distance as well. We did struggle with using the coffee maker (thank you Google) and using the oven and stovetop (main switch on far wall behind the coffee machine). Clearer instructions would have been great. Otherwise, remarkable home and we’d definitely stay here again.

Christines place is great! It’s clean, well equipped and great house for a nice vacation. Garden is lovely with an outdoor fire and grass for kids to play around on. I would 100% stay again. We were two families with four kids in total and it worked very well. House is close to the playground and beach which makes it even better:)

We loved our stay here, such a beautiful place and in such a great location. It was just a short drive to everywhere we planned to go. We had everything we needed, with a full kitchen for us to us, it made cooking super easy for such a big group! We would love to come back here!

We are regulars to Whiritoa but have never stayed at Christine’s place before - & we are so glad we did! The photos don’t do the property justice & we were pleasantly surprised by how big and airy the home was. Lots of natural sunlight and the sea breeze was a bonus - a 1min walk to the beach. The upstairs bed space gets a little warm but the huge open plan mezzanine format that opens out onto a large deck fixes that! Great communication made checking in & out easy - was also on hand with quick replies when we needed. Thanks Chris for the fab stay 👌

We love staying here! It’s our second time and we’ll be back again as soon as we can. Terry is a great host and nothing is too much trouble. The property is in a very central location and is walking distance to main street. There is also safe off road parking. The house is stunning and I love the pieces of art work displayed around the place. We all appreciated the games cupboard and our parents loved the book selection. The new air fryer is a wonderful addition too!

Loved our stay, great location, peaceful, nice beach for swimming, easily launched our boat from the beach out front. House was clean and comfortable and well equipped. Will 100% be back and stay for longer!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. It was spacious indoors. Sitting outside with a cold drink taking in the view and watching tuis, quail and fantails was great. We made use of the barbecue and washing machine. Kitchen area was compact. Alan the host was welcoming and gave us good tips on things to do.

Really enjoyed our stay at Cooks Beach. Easy walk to restaurant and beach very peaceful and friendly. Would come again.

We loved our staying at Faye’s place in Whangamata. It was sparkling clean and well appointed, and the location is amazing - just a tiny walk to the amazing beach with beautiful sea views from the living room and balcony. Faye was so friendly with her communication and was extremely understanding when we interrupted her Friday evening by accidentally locking ourselves out 🫣 (thanks again!!). I would high recommend a stay here and would love to visit again. All the best Faye.

We had a great stay at Rooftops, it was an easy stroll to the beach, cafes & restaurants. The aesthetic was modern and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Will definitely stay again in the future.
