We had a wonderful stay in this AirBnB! The view is a dream. You are reliant on a car here, as you can't get very far on foot, but the nearest supermarket is just a 5-minute drive away.

We are so happy we got to stay at the cottage during our visit. It was so peaceful and quiet. Beautiful scenery, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen. I look forward to visiting again.

We loved the place. It was just like the photos, but better. The home was well equipped with everything you need for a nice stay. Tons of kitchen items (plates,forks,cups, pans,pots,etc - there's literally everything you need). Good size bedrooms with comfy mattresses and linens, FAST internet with a nice big TV, and a nice bathroom. The location was amazing! Nice a quiet at night time. Magdalena was awesome. She was very responsive and helpful. She truly cares about her guests.

The checkin was seamless, all instructions were mentioned, very responsive host. Place looked very pretty pinteresty vibes all around. Basic amenities were there, loved the closeness to the lake.

This was our second year at Carrie and Dan's cottage and once again my family and I had a fantastic time. The house is perfectly situated on the river with a nice beach and it has all of the amenities needed. Dan communicated regularly and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. This is a beautiful property which anyone would have fun at.

The place was very clean and the location it’s amazing, you are close to a lot of trails and to Blue Mountain Village. Jennifer and Keith were very responsive and friendly. It was a great experience!

This is an amazing little spot. Close to everything and unfortunately we stayed during the ice storm, but our hosts were amazing with flashlights and offering any help we may need. It was the perfect weekend getaway and even had all the appliances to be able to make food which is so great! Would absolutely go back again.

Definitely recommend. Very functional and comfortable accommodations, with lots of natural light and a beautiful view.

Beautiful view from the living room/kitchen/dining/deck area! In a very quiet neighbourhood but still close to downtown Penetang and shops and services. Kitchen has everything you need to cook simple meals. Cosy and comfortable living room.

From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had entered a peaceful retreat, far from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cottage itself was cozy and beautifully maintained, offering a comfortable space to relax and unwind. One of the standout features was the indoor pool, which added a touch of luxury to my stay. It was clean, well-heated, and offered the perfect escape after a day of exploring the area. Whether I was taking a morning dip or winding down in the evening, it truly enhanced the experience. The surrounding area was just as lovely—quiet, scenic, and full of charming spots to explore. Whether I was taking a walk around the cottage or venturing out to nearby attractions, there was always something new to enjoy. All in all, this cottage provided the perfect balance of relaxation, comfort, and adventure. It was a much-needed escape, and I left feeling refreshed!

A beautiful wood and stone cottage, in a very peaceful, quiet area, that our 2 small dogs agree is a 5 star stay. My wife and I really enjoyed the record player. The paved Trans Canada trail is only a 3 minute walk away, a great walking or biking trail. You can walk on this trail east 12 mins to Eplett Park to sit near the water, or west 45+ mins to see birds in Hog Bay (binoculars recommended), good interpretive signs and a large map 15 mins farthur.

We stayed at this beautiful cottage for a peaceful getaway. The backyard opens right onto Wasaga Beach, making it feel like your own private escape. The patio setup with the BBQ and fireplace was our favourite spot ..perfect for cozy evenings. The glass windows in the living area bring in so much natural light and make the space feel incredibly relaxing. The last bedroom is a gem…it offers stunning sunrise views right from the bed, which made waking up feel magical. The whole place was spotless and very well maintained. The hosts provided clear instructions, and everything was easy to find and use. If you’re looking for a serene, scenic, and clean spot to unwind, this is the one. We would absolutely go back

It's a very private place with a peaceful surrounding. The interior of the house is very homely, even more than the photos suggest.

Took the wife and our two young children for a weekend getaway. Place was perfect for a family of 4 . Very cozy with a beautiful view and a ton of things to do . Will go again .

We had a lovely weekend. Visiting family and celebrating a milestone birthday. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate in order to get outside but a lovely stay. We did not want for a thing. Thank you Steve

Great little spot to get away for the weekend at an economical price. Was duck season so lots of gun action in the morning which was a bit annoying but nobody’s fault. Close to the beach and nice walking trail nearby. We had a great visit.
