Fantastic view of Dunitin city. Comfortable and warm, well preparation before our arrival. If I visit Dunitin again in future, I'll stay here again.

Great place to stay, just what we were looking for. More than happy to book again!

Having spent 6 weeks travelling from Cape Regina in the North to Invercargill in the South and having stayed in 12 other accommodation situations, Carla and Ken’s little house was by far the best we’ve experienced. It was like a home away from home with all the comforts provided. The kitchen was fantastic, the beds were warm and comfortable and the shower was hot with plenty of water pressure. Would recommend staying over anywhere else if you’re visiting Invercargill. We wished we’d had more time there. Thank you Carla and Ken for 2 of the best nights R&R one could wish for. Very comfortable and clean. Chris was very generous with our choice of breakfast. As cooks we were delighted to find a wok and rice cooker amongst the pots and pans. Our group of 4 would definitely stay here again.

Our second time staying at Paula’s. We stayed longer this time and were able to really enjoy and appreciate everything it has to offer. It is such a bright and cheerful cottage with a large sunny deck which we utilised for morning coffee in the sun and bbq’s in the evening. We had family visit and grandchildren were able to explore the surroundings. They all felt they were on holiday even though they lived five minutes away. All this was enhanced by bird song and lavender. I would highly recommend.

Wow, Michelle has the location of most people’s dreams (ours for sure), isolated hill top with a panoramic sea view that changes with the weather or time of day. The property is well designed, with a lot of thought going into the high end fixtures and fittings. Echo trends throughout for this off grid property, not that you’d ever know it’s off grid, it’s fully loaded with everything you need. Cupboards and fridge are full of goodies for breakfast and yummy chocolate biscuits to go with the Nespresso coffee or variety of tea’s. Grab your groceries on the way as it’s 30mins to a shop. A lovely stroll down a rugged sloping path, to the beach you see from all of the floor to ceiling windows along the full length of the property. Waterfall on property too. We were lucky to get one clear night and the stars are amazing. It’s so nice, we both said we could live here, it ticks so many boxes for us. Was beautiful view. Small but great size for my partner and I. Homely feeling to the place. Very convenient for us. Paul is always fast to reply and very contactable. We really appreciate being able to stay 5 weeks in this home. Would definitely recommend.

The view is amazing!! House is big and perfect to host a large family or a few, beds are very confortable, the house is big with two living room so kids can have fun in one or watch tv while the adults can have nice time ! Two fridges which is so good when you love cooking. The kitchen is well equipped, the garden is big, nice bbq area. the house is close to all the good spot to visit. The spa was not working when we were there but would have a been a cherry on a beautiful cake. Would definitely come back ! Thank you for having us.

This is a very nice historic building, and the apartment is well appointed with high ceilings and windows. There is a lift to whisk you to the top floor, and parking on the street is easy and inexpensive. The unit is strategically located near many of the main sights around the city. The Chinese Scholar’s Garden is located right across the street, and is a very cool place to visit. The Settler’s Museum is right next door. And don’t forget Maggie’s — an easy ten minute walk for a great breakfast — and The Duke of Wellington (a one minute walk) for a pint of beer. Cheers!

A perfect place to stay on the peninsula. 15 mins drive to central Dunedin and 5 mins to Port Chalmers. Just a short walk down to Sawyers Bay. Beautiful views. The wee unit was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. I really appreciated having tea and coffee and milk provided. Thanks Trixie!

I stayed here in one of the coldest months of the year, and the room was a little cold at the beginning. However, Joyce was very helpful and and easy to talk to, and she provided an extra blanket, a better heater, and a winter cap which helped me immensely in coping with the temperature (in fact I didn't feel cold at all after that). Thank you so much.

This place is an absolute gem, I can nothing but recommend it. The moment you get into the apartment you are home away from home. Everything you need is just there. Special thanks for the breakfast items and super furbished kitchen 🙏. Communication with Antonia & Jo super easy and very friendly. Had a great time at iD Fashion, everything just in walking distance. For sure, I‘ll be back!

Lovely apartment which was clean and had lots of little extras. Very accommodating when we wanted a second night!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Terminus and would not hesitate to go back. My only regret is that I was so busy on my trip, I didn't get much of a chance to relax in the surroundings, however it was a perfect location for me with easy access around Dunedin from there and has a great feel about the place including the surrounding district. It is on a main intersection, however I didn't really hear any noise and a couple of times when I was there, I even had the front doors to the balcony open and the traffic noise was very minimal. I would recommend anyone traveling to Dunedin to seriously consider renting this apartment as it ticked all of the boxes for me and the hosts are fantastic, even messaging me to make sure I had settled in and to contact them if I needed anything. If you want to stay in an apartment that is reasonably close to the city centre, has modern amenities and that cosy old school feeling, then this is the place for you.

Christine’s place was excellent for us, convenient for getting to our locations. No parking at the location, but easy enough to park on the street. Christine was very nice, we didn’t need anything from her but it would have been easy if we had.

We were made to feel very welcome into Joanne's home. Joanne & Bryce were very friendly and easy to talk to. The breakfasts were great, and we could come and go at our leisure. Our bedroom, bathroom, and living room were clean and very spacious.

Knowledgeable and friendly host. Warm and comfortable room. Quiet and safe location. Beautiful home and setting. Will be back.

We had the most wonderful time at Sally’s and Keri’s place. It is located in beautiful surroundings, lots of nature and places to visit the sea and take a walk. The hot tub should win an award for “most beautiful view from a hot tub”. With unmatched hospitality, great breakfast and the friendliest dog we can not recommend this place enough. Thank you so much for having us!

Greg’s place was very clean, nice and cozy. He and his family are very nice and welcoming. We had a great time walking at the farm and feed his horses and alpacas. The view from up the hill is truly amazing. This was a wonderful place to stay in, only 15 minutes from Dunedin center.

I recommend staying here, Deborah and Alistair are super hosts! Welcoming and considerate to guests. I appreciated their quick acceptance of our last-minute request, made when our planned accommodations unexpectedly fell through. This has been our favourite home to stay in. There's a beautiful view of the water from their living room and deck. Deborah and Alistair are interesting and fun conversationalists. Their home is open, airy, clean, and comfortable to be in. Comfortable bed. We were welcome to come and go as we wanted, and to make use of the shared living room, dining room, and kitchen. Everything was in great shape. Thank You Both for hosting us.

Doug and Rose were really friendly and made us feel so welcome in their home. It can be awkward sharing space in someone's house but we found plenty in common and felt very comfortable.We had an awesome view from our bedroom window and really appreciated the bathroom so close to our room and the hall nightlight to find our way. When it rained on the Sunday morning we loved spending time in the living room reading books and looking out over the estuary. It was also great to be able to arrive slightly ahead of check in and to have a flexible checkout. An added bonus was getting to see Doug's band perform in Oamaru. We loved our stay and hope to be back again for another visit in the future.

We loved our stay with Ulrike and Manfred. Very personal, incredible breakfasts, picked us up and dropped us at the ferry, took us on a walk, recommended things to do on the island, attended to all our needs and were lovely to spend time with. Highly recommend a stay at Jensen House.
