We loved our stay in White Salmon. The space was perfect for our active little boys—we really appreciated the toys, kids books and washer and dryer! The White Salmon Bakery was so fun to visit each morning and we also enjoyed doing a couple local runs and seeing mount Hood in all its glory from all over town. Thanks for a great first visit!

We used the cottage as a base for my husband's hiking on the Deschutes Trail. While he explored the outdoors, I tucked in for R&R. This was a cozy little house within walking distance of some great eateries. The proximity to Mill Creek was a bonus. It was a lovely, natural white noise machine. We would absolutely visit again.

Excellent property! Modern, well maintained home on secluded parcel. Danielle’s home offers comfortable beds, restorative common areas and beautiful surrounding nature. The well stocked kitchen and the large pack n’ play was much appreciated. Very kid and dog friendly! 15 min to Summit, 40 min to Meadows. Danielle had wonderful communication, our stay easily exceeded our expectations. We will be back!

Allison had a beautiful home!! The riverfront backyard and hot tub were the favorite from our trip! Her home is extremely cozy and comforting, with the windows open you can hear the river. I’d definitely recommend this home for anyone that loves being in nature, looking for a peaceful retreat!

This was one of the most beautiful stays we’ve had at an Airbnb. The amenities were thoughtful and showed they truly cared about what guests would need. The kitchen was well stocked, they had everything you’d need for kids and the decor was also so beautiful. We had a peaceful and restful experience.

Doggies & family enjoyed the space and the walks by the river! The cabin was cozy and felt like home. We loved the varied rocks and doggy pics!

Rachel's place was perfect for our little family. It had lots of room and all the amenities we needed. It was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The views were spectacular! My kids thought the pool table was the coolest thing in the world, so that was a bonus for sure! It's a great location, about midway between Hood River and The Dalles. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely stay overall and Kristi was very responsive and accommodating! The place was as showy and comfortable for our weekend away. Chilly on arrival, but warmed up quickly. Really appreciated the comprehensive and quality kitchen gear with cooking basics (Butter/Oils etc! so many places do not provide these). Somehow missed the pantry with even more basics AND a great games and puzzles stash, which I discovered right before leaving. Next time!

We absolutely love staying at The Foxglove! Aaron is a wonderful host, the house is full of great items to make you feel right at home. The kitchen is stocked with all the items you need to cook at home, and the layout is great for us! We both work remotely and are able to set up offices, as well as have a space for relaxing and enjoying a good movie, or cozy up with a book. We are repeat vacationers to the area and always try to stay at Aaron's home if it is available. Thank you for another great stay!

Great house, great location and sparkling clean! At first, we were thinking that there is nowhere to walk our dog. We like very long walks at least three times a day. Next day we found the pass to the other part of the neighborhood with unlimited amount of trails along the river and in the forest. It is just couple minutes away from the house. Our favorite forest entrance is the one dedicated to Ladybug dog. It is a very nice pass to the river. The living room has big enough table for the board games nights. I see that some people complain about the mattress. It is memory foam one. You either like this type or you don’t in general. It worked perfectly for me, though my husband complained it is too soft for him. Kids really liked upstairs beds. The house also equipped with everything for the dogs. We didn’t need it as we bring everything for our pup as we travel a lot and many houses don’t have dog items. You will find: bowls, towels, poop bags, etc. Thank you for having us!

We were elated to find Mike and Betsy's (reasonably priced!) piece of heaven for a weekend of solitude and appreciated their clear communications leading up to our arrival. Their recommendations for hiking, walking, pool, hot tub and restaurants were greatly appreciated, too – and the view from their condo's back porch is UH-mazing. The serenity of the location was just what we needed. 🙂 Anything and everything you need is in the kitchen, utility closet, bedrooms, bathrooms and living room – even nightlights in the bathrooms (thank goodness because I'd forgotten to pack ours) and we loved the coziness of the fireplace while we watched a movie. If you're looking for a quiet mountain getaway with ease of getting around and outstanding owners, this is your place!

Beautiful home and a nice place to stay with our extended family. We had three couples and one elderly woman. Three bedrooms upstairs share one bathroom with the bathroom being off one of the bedrooms. So, the two other couples using the bedrooms upstairs had to walk downstairs to use the bathroom. Moreover, two of the bedrooms are connected, so that the couple in the rear bedroom had to walk through the bedroom of the other couple. This would be a good arrangement if there were children in the rear bedroom, but perhaps not for adult couples. The house is located between the highway and the river. It is convenient to get onto the highway to get up to the mountains. However, there is some of the noise from the highway.

beautiful cabin! felt cozy and comfy from the first step in. definitely going to think about a bigger group and do the camping thing out there.

We have had the pleasure of staying at many amazing AirBNBs in the past however we cannot think of a more tranquil and uplifting and gorgeous property than this beautiful home. Just the simple arrival shock and wow factor with Mt Hood framed above the treeline and then opening the massive front sliders and feeling like stepping out of an old stressful life and into a new persona. And yes I admit that sounds cheesy but do yourself a favor and just go experience it for yourself and yes make sure to bring plenty provisions so that u do not have to go back into town for a couple days. And if you need to restock then it’s a lovely drive past rural farms and takes about 25 minute to White Salmon and all the amenities. And when you are ready to explore the region then go hike the Labyrinth Trail and afterwards drive to Maryhill Winery on a sunny spring day and now you know why folks love the Gorge. Just go there now. Or don’t so that we can go back ASAP to be sure.

Already planning my next trip back! Most vacations are hard to leave, this one was extra hard! Peaceful and relaxing property.

What a great place! We had a super peaceful, and very comfortable long weekend at Matthew's cabin. Directions and house instructions were very helpful and clear. We definitely felt at home right away. The combo of beautiful surroundings (and lots more to explore in the area), wood stove and hot tub checks all the boxes for us. This property served as our first Airbnb experience alongside another family. The spacious layout of each room provided excellent comfort, particularly the children's room, which was ideally suited for our kids. We particularly enjoyed the game room, where we had a fun parent-versus-kid competition. The amenities offered were also impressive and enhanced our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!
