We stayed at the Cozy Green Cottage over the Thanksgiving holiday week. We were looking for a quiet, peaceful cabin to get away to and this spot was perfect. I worked remote for the first half of the week and had no problem with her internet connection. We were able to do Zoom calls as well as stream movies. The cottage is super charming. It's over 100 years old and has many hand crafted details. Kitchen is small but totally functional for 2 people. Bathroom has a claw-foot tub with hand-held shower head. The grounds around the cabin are serene. This cabin is behind private homes but since this was off-season, no one was around. It is a short walk to the stairs that take you to Lake Michigan. We opted to drive down the road to a public access area right on the lake. Also very convenient. If you are looking to get away from the everyday buzz of life or need a no-distractions, quiet space to get a project finished, I recommend this cottage!

We had a fantastic stay! The space was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with thoughtful extras that made traveling even easier. The host was incredibly friendly and communicative, ensuring we had everything we needed. One of the highlights was the fenced-in yard, which was perfect for our dog. We truly appreciated all the little details that made this stay comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Lisa and Amanda checked in with us prior to and when we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised by lovely bottle of wine and chocolates in the kitchen. Lisa made some wonderful suggestions for the area. The house exceeded our expectations. Lisa checked in with us to ensure all was acceptable on day 2 as well and made herself available to us if we needed anything. We had a significant snowfall and they ensured that the snow was cleared and access was safe. I look forward to enjoying another visit in their home. It is exceptionally clean, well maintained and stocked with everything that we could possibly need. Comfortable beds and bedding. Thoughtful additions of cozy throw blankets, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and blow dryers were included in both of the washrooms. Everything is as it appears in the photos. Lakeview winery is across the road and walkable and fun for tastings. Perfect location!!!

David and Wendy’s place provides a peaceful vibe that we really enjoyed. We especially love the fireplace in the living room and David provides enough log woods and fire starters to help us get started. They also provide enough food for breakfast, a nice new bbq, and snowshoes and hiking sticks for their guests. At 7pm the deers will come for their evening feed. It is such a unique experience for a get away trip! Will definitely visit again

Mary was very responsive - had a little trouble with internet when we arrived and Mary was right on it and corrected my mistake. The surroundings were beautiful with the fall colors and the setting was so serene and peaceful. It was exactly what we wanted being close enough to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore to enjoy it but far enough away not to be caught in the tourism. Mary was able to give us restaurant suggestions and be super responsive without being overbearing. Overall a truly wonderful stay!!

Great place to stay for a weekend away! A cozy spot right on the water. Had everything we needed. Lots of restaurants close by. A perfect location.

Great spot for lambeau! We had such a great time and such a great space to lay our heads to process the greatness of the stadium and game. Thanks for the tips for parking and getting around! We loved our time!

Ron and Kim are amazing hosts. they responded fast and we're very helpful. The place had a homie feel and was a great getaway for us. We had a fantastic stay and definitely recommend staying there.

Bonnie’s Backyard Oasis was lovely. It was great to have a designated place to park, be able to check ourselves in and out at our convenience in a quiet neighborhood where we felt safe. The place was clean and adorable, and the bed was comfy, too. Bonnie was so thoughtful with a list of good places to visit in the area if we had time and even left some snacks and beverages in the unit for us. We would definitely stay there again.

This was our second time at this beautiful retreat, and we have already booked our third. We can't say enough about this place! Very responsive host and SUPER friendly. Just like the first time, the guesthouse was immaculately clean, all amenities listed were available, the bedding is truly luxurious, and the breakfast items were delightful (including fresh eggs from their very own free-range chickens). The highlights, this time, were the fresh still-warm maple syrup delivered to our door, and the SYMPHONY of birdsong in the morning!! Absolutely beautiful... and cozy!!

Wonderfully accommodating and cozy. Exceptionally tidy, beautiful design/decor and lots of space to hang out. We visited during peak color season and it was breathtakingly beautiful. Would gladly drive the 4 hours to stay here again!

Teresa was great, she was very responsive with clear instructions and most importantly, accurate description of this great loft. The stay was beyond expected. 100% recommended.

This is a treasure in small town USA plus the HotTub. hallelujah. We booked this place last minute and were able to stay. These guys go above and beyond a typical Airbnb experience and would so go back again! telling all of our friends!

Such a beautiful pool house. Very quiet, beautiful, cleanly and felt like a home away from home! Was a wonderful choice for my birthday trip! Kitchen was packed with everything you could think of, the ice maker was a hit with my fiancé and my best friend! Loved the in unit dryer and washer — made me come home with CLEAN clothes! (which i loved). The living room was beautiful, loved the table! The bedrooms were spacious and so clean! Loved the individual air conditioning systems — a cold lovers dream! The bathroom was stunning. So spacious and the shower felt like a rainfall. So many amenities and games to play aswell! it was such a lovey stay. Jessica is amazing and i will be back to book again in the future!

We had a great stay at Margarets place! It was exactly what we wanted for a weekend getaway. Margaret was very responsive and accommodating and made us feel very much at home. Lots of great hiking and restaurants within minutes. Would definitely stay again.

Thank you, Kati, for another wonderful stay at the blue cottage. Everything was great and the heater, which we have never had to use before since we didn’t visit in December before, worked very well! The place is terrific for us to stay and for Dinah to teach and it is wonderful to be around the corner from our family. We look forward to staying there again. Dinah and Larry.

The Rainbow’s End is a true hidden gem. The cabin is one of the cleanest and coziest rentals we’ve ever stayed at. It’s filled with artwork and books and tchotchkes that are a constant surprise. The kitchen was stocked with high quality cookware and ceramic plates - it had everything we needed to cook. Dennis and his dog Bentley were gracious hosts and let us check in early. We’ll definitely be back.

This place was great and was just as described. Plenty of parking, zero egress (other than the shower which was noted in the listing), space was super welcoming with a cute screen saver on the tv and Laurie was very responsive. Hot tub was great and just steps outside. We would consider staying there again!
