Comfortable house with good heating (we visited the house in winter), nice location, convenient parking, accommodated a family of four comfortably.

Our stay for my 40th birthday was absolutely incredible—better than I could have ever imagined. The house is stunning, nestled beautifully in the heart of nature, just how I like it. The sea is breathtaking and easily accessible, just a short walk down from the house. The beach is perfect for children, with crystal-clear, shimmering waters. Everything about this stay was perfect on every level. Kostas was truly amazing. He was a tremendous help in every way, a wonderful person I look forward to seeing again, whether at his place or elsewhere. All my friends were charmed by his character and his home, rich in history. He was incredibly flexible, dedicated, and made sure we had an unforgettable celebration. A huge thank you to Kostas. This house is a gem, and I can't wait to return.

Alkmiri's place is perfectly situated - perched on the edge of Alonissos' (Alonnisos'?) relatively low-key tourist zone, overlooking its loveliest beach and another island - Peristera - across the strait. Its best feature is the spacious and well furnished wraparound terrace that allows guests to chase or avoid the sun all day, according to preference. The main room is lovely too, with a very well equipped kitchen packed with provisions to welcome guests. Alkmiri also supplies bathroom essentials, the bed is large and comfortable, and the wifi secure and reliable. When we managed to lock ourselves out, she responded quickly and helpfully too. So all mod cons out in the sticks, with views to drool over. The only reason not to come here that we can think of is if you don't like cats. In typical Greek fashion, the property attracts several. Unlike in some other places, they are well fed and approachable, and and can be fussed over, stroked and given extra tidbits (we did all three).

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich sehr schön und der Blick von der Terrasse immer wieder toll! Außerdem ist Alexandros ein super Gastgeber, antwortet schnell und hat ein paar gute Tipps für die Umgebung parat! Zu erwähnen bleibt nur, dass die Unterkunft insbesondere für gutes Wetter ausgelegt ist, da es nur draußen Sitzmöglichkeiten gibt - da wir ein wenig Pech mit den Wetter hatten, hat uns das ein wenig eingeschränkt, was aber natürlich nicht an der Qualität der Unterkunft liegt!!

Η διαμονή στο κατάλυμα της κας Ιωάννας είναι σκέτη απόλαυση! σπίτι φροντισμένο κι όμορφα διακοσμημενο, πεντακάθαρο και πλήρως εξοπλισμένο. Επιπλέον διαθέτει μεγάλη και περιποιημένη αυλή. Αυτό όμως που ξεχωρίζει είναι η ίδια η κα Ιωάννα, μια γυναίκα πολύ ευγενική, φιλόξενη, προσηνής κι εξυπηρετική. Έχει φροντίσει να υπάρχουν στο σπίτι τρόφιμα, ποτά και φρούτα που όσα και να καταναλώσεις απλά δεν τελειώνουν!!! Το συνιστούμε ανεπιφύλακτα!

Our two families had a perfect stay! We especially enjoyed the pool and sitting area very much. Were greeted on arrival and everything explained perfectly together with local tips. If we had a question the host was always there for us. Explored the surrounding area, local village festival and also had some nice dinner experiences not far from the village. The house was just perfect and very roomy, air conditioned and so clean! Would love to go again soon!

Yani & Effie are great and helpful, the rooms are perfect as seen in the photos, comfortable and they keep it super clean. We enjoyed this private place near vineyards a lot. Quite easy to access to nearby beaches by driving. There is nothing around to disrupt your comfort. Also the sky is great to watch at nights, so many stars 🌟 Absolutely recommended 👍🏼

We absolutely loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The location is stunning with views over the mountains, the outdoor space is beautiful with an outdoor kitchen area that we really enjoyed. Inside every detail was thought about to make our stay a real home from home. We will be coming back again for sure! Cherry was so friendly and helpful with local advice and arranging things for us and checking on the ferry status. All just wonderful!

Wir verbrachten eine Woche in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft und der Abschied ist uns wirklich schwer gefallen. Es war mit Abstand der schönste Urlaub den ich je hatte. Die Unterkunft ist auf einem ruhigen Hügel gebaut mit einer traumhaften Aussicht. Yiannis und Sofia waren extrem nett und haben uns täglich mit Eiern und frischem Obst und Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten versorgt. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet und ermöglicht es mit griechischem Olivenöl und Kräutern zu kochen. Der Aufenthalt lies wirklich keine Wünsche offen und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist top! Eine absolute Empfehlung für jeden, der einen detox vom stressigen Alltag möchte und sich eine Pause in der Natur gönnen will! Danke für diese unvergessliche Woche und bis ganz bestimmt bald!

Kostos was great, easy to communicate with and answered phone immediately. Was helpful and wanted us to have a good time. The photos don't really do it justice, its much nicer in real life. You absolutely need a car and its the kind of place where you want to get away from it all. Peaceful. You need provisions before you arrive, especially if you arrive late. There is lots of wildlife up there. We all had a good time.

Our stay was great! The house was beautiful inside and out I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Volos

The greatest stay eveeeer, EVER! The host are something else, like they have come from another planet!!! They were A👏MAI👏ZING👏 amazing! The greatest hosts you could ever wish for - not exaggerating! From the first moment we’ve met them they were incredible! They were very careful, very quick with making up our accommodation (despite the delayed check out from the previous guests and our earlier arrival). They didn’t mind the fact that outside was pouring rain and they needed to get all wet and cold so they could clean and prepare our villa. The accommodation - incredible!!! Yes it is outside the town, but it’s soooooo much better this way! You have an amazing view of the sun setting in the sea 🌊 on the other site you have an amazing outside sitting area with a vineyard view and amazing nature! The place is quite so you can fuuuuully relax! The villas are constructed sooo professionally, they have a modern view and design, they have everything you could think of - everything (I can’t even count all the things). The beds were sooo comfortable, huge and with the best pillows as well the best bedclothes! (I usually bring our own pillow covers, but with the service and the cleanness of our hosts they were unnecessary - for the first time in my life 😁) Everyday the hosts took amazing care of our place!!!! We can not even believe it! When we were outside, on the beach or wherever, they managed to clean everything, everything - to make up the beds, to eveeeen wash the dishes we were planning to clean later, to wash the sink in the kitchen, to collect the clean dishes, to make up the kitchen, to bring us clean towels everydaaaay!!!!! To clean the hole place, to clean the table on the terrace (because they were usually tracks from our cups of water in the morning). Effie were so amazing and soooo kind - she by herself offered me one they to wash our bathroom towels (we bring our own just in case - which here were absolutely unnecessary but…a habit is a habit) and I don’t know how she knew which exactly were our bathroom towels so she don’t put them together with the beach towels in the wash, but when she has cleaned them and has returned them to us, they were incredible - the softest they have ever been, so clean and smelling amazing! And when we asked her if we can give her our beach towels later that day she took them right away and gave them back with the same amazing results!!! Yani and Effie are amazing hosts! We felt and saw that they have build their accommodation with a lot of love, professionalism, with a lot of attention to the details and with a lot of patience. They were so kind to recommend us the best beaches - the most important the not expensive ones☝️ , but the ones with best water, best atmosphere, best views and everything! They have recommended the best places we could have had dinner, the best places for souvenirs and the best places we could have seen on the area. On our last night me and my husband had a great time, like a small romantic dinner with Effie and Yani on the outside sitting area, and we had the best time. Despite the fact that it was a quick dinner (unfortunately we were in hurry) it was the greatest. We’ve had the greatest time with them and the greatest talk. 🥰 Everything about our hosts was amazing, spectacular!!!!! If you choose to go there, you should know that you have made the greatest choice! It was a five or even more stars experience!

Das war unser erster Aufenthalt in Griechenland und wir sind sehr positiv überrascht. Die Unterkunft war sehr schön, sauber und für unseren Zweck genau passend. Sie ist optimal für Familien - 2 Erwachsene plus 2 Kinder oder vier Personen. Die Kommunikation mit Stergios funktionierte einwandfrei und sehr freundlich, bei der Übernahme der Unterkunft, erwartete uns eine Freundin von Stergios die uns dann auch alles technische erklärte. Während des Aufenthaltes schrieb uns Stergios an und erkundigte sich ob alles passt und ob wir eventuell etwas bräuchte, zusätzlich gab er auch Tipps für Aktivitäten in der Gegend. Kurze zur Lage, diese ist sehr ruhig und man hat alles in der Nähe z.B. Taverne mit gutem Essen kurzer Fußweg von 5-10min, für Lebensmittel und Tanken fährt man am besten nach Grevena ca. 10min mit dem Auto, apropos ohne Auto geht nichts. Resümee: Wir würden die Unterkunft sofort weiterempfehlen und könnten uns vorstellen das wir sie nochmal für uns mieten.

Smukt hus, fantastisk flot have og poolområde og dejlig terrasse. Man kunne endda lige akkurat se havet. Godt indrettet hus og behagelige senge. Michail var hurtig til at svare på beskeder og vi blev taget godt imod af Michaels far. Kort køretur til strande og spisesteder - dog skal man være opmærksom på, at sæsonen lukker ned i oktober, så der er de lokale supermarkeder og restauranter lukkede. Eneste minus var, at huset ligger tæt på hovedvejen, hvilken giver lidt vejstøj fra trafikken. Dette var dog ikke et stort problem, men godt at vide hvis man leder efter et hus med fuldkommen ro. Vi nød vores ophold og kan varmt anbefale stedet.

The house is big and very private. The owner, Peggy, was highly responsive and helped in everything she could. We've got the kitchen full of ingredients for us and it was fully equipped. The view from the house's terrace is amazing! I would defentaly come back. Afissos is a very nice town to leave in. The house is 2 minutes by car from the center. We could have walked it too (about 7-10 minutes) but it quit steep so we preferred the car. The house doesn't really have 3 bedrooms. There are 2 bedrooms and the third is not closed by a door. It is actually few beds in the corridor. It was fine for us but it's not for 3 couples who all want their privacy. Bottom line - great asset!
