What a fab house this is. We stayed for 6 weeks and did not want to leave. Jo was always on hand if we needed anything but the house is so well set up that we rarely did. The location is fab on a quiet back street but a COOP, Indian and nice bar all within a few mins walk. The house is really well presented and has everything you’d need for a short or longer stay. The hot tub is a great addition and the garden feels really private. All the bedrooms are a great size and perfect for couples. I can’t rate this place highly enough! Full 5 stars from us!

Absolutely amazing place, so peacefull. A great little wooden cabin with a log burner. shared toilet facilities further down the farm but that was non-issue. A lack of a shower block is the only downfall but absolutely doesn't take away from how much we enjoyed it, we will definitely stay again if in the area. Loved every minute of it. Dot is extremely helpful too. Top quality all round.

This house was absolutely stunning. It was well worth the money we paid. We had 12 guests for a Hen Do and we had plenty of room. The hot tub was wonderful and warm, even if February. The view was stunning as were the rooms. Each room was beautifully decorated, including a stunning shower and bath. Hosts communicated clearly and responded quickly when I had questions. Would definitely return and recommend!

What a perfect place to stay with all of the family from 11 months to 80+yrs of age. Accessibility for my mum was excellent with walk in showers and sofa chairs easy to get in and out of. A travel cot and high chair provided for the youngest member of the family. A dishwasher including the tablets along with a fully equipped kitchen, plastic glasses for use in the hot tub ideal with a glass of wine or too. Our two dogs enjoyed lots of walks and it was brilliant that the garden was fully enclosed and safe for them too. Sarah the host was lovely nothing was too much trouble, little touches like jigsaws and board games where available and the barn had been decorated for Christmas to make you feelst home. The barn was in a beautiful location with lots of walks and a local pub ( booking is essential). If your into astronomy go to Grassholme Observatory I learnt so much and the dark skies are awesome. We had a lovely New Years break and would highly recommended Sunrise Barn for families.

We had a fantastic weekend at The Jungalow, the house and garden is lovely with everything that you need for your stay. Louis is a great host, very friendly and nearby if you need anything and the breakfast and treats provided were a nice touch. We enjoyed the nature trail walk to the beach, pizzas from the local take away and a stroll to the local pub for some good food. Would definitely like to visit again in the summer months.

We had a great trip, the barn is really comfortable and a perfect size for a group stay. The hot tub is lovely and the area is secluded with great views. Susan was a really responsive host and easy to communicate with throughout. Thanks for a lovely weekend.

Richard & Kim provided very informative written guides on anything one might need or like to do while staying at their lovely cottage. They looked after details in the cottage in a way that shows care and love. They even made us a handmade jam! It was our first visit to Yorkshire and they made it a memorable one. We had a comfortable stay that we enjoyed so much.

We loved our stay at Lancaster House. We went with the family for my mums 60th birthday and Zoe’s place was perfect for our needs. It was very clean, easy to find and had lots of character which, was exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely stay again! 😊

Our Coach House long weekend trip was delightful. The house is tucked away and peaceful. Even though the owners live next door, you would never know. It’s a stone’s throw from really good places to eat out and well-equipped to stay in. We loved the historical charm of the property and everything was well kept and comfortable. Trish met us at check in and showed us around and gave us recommendations for local places. Her welcome basket of goodies, cake and fridge staples were a pleasant surprise. I can honestly say we felt completely spoilt. The location is great for Robin Hood’s Bay and Staithes. It was all completely fabulous!

Exceptional victorian town house, very clean and fully equipped. Sarah was very responsive throughout and helpful.

Loved Karen’s place , super clean, finished to a high spec, comfy bed, reclining sofa, everything you could need in the kitchen. Karen had left tea, coffee and milk for us to use. There’s an honesty box if you want to take advantage of wine, Prosecco and beers . Only a couple of minutes walk to Ripon market square, and approx 5 mins to the cathedral 8mins to canal basin. Karen kept in touch and we took advantage of parking on site and self check-in.

Perfect location to switch off with great views and plenty of privacy whilst being brilliantly situated to explore the local towns and walks. Really friendly and flexible host. I'll will certainly stay again when back in the area.

We visited to celebrate a big birthday and the house more than accommodated the 10 of us. The kitchen was very well stocked and there was a whole cupboard of board games. The hosts were welcoming and the house was stunning.

What can I say... Absolutely fantastic place. You couldn't ask for anything more. Really peaceful location with fantastic views of the hills etc. We had a strange issue but this was sorted out very swiftly by Malcolm 👍 We will definitely be looking to book again and have another peaceful time just watching the world go by. This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

We had a very comfortable stay in Lucy’s flat. Everything was just as described. The kitchen was well equipped, the heating was super efficient, the decor was delightful and bed super soft. We were visiting family who live nearby so the location was perfect for us anyway, but there is certainly plenty to do in the area - coast walks, gardens, countryside, historic houses etc. We would definitely recommend to others.

Cindy was proactive with communication from the beginning, calling to offer a free upgrade to the onsite Lodge as she was worried about October temperatures overnight in the Yurt. The Lodge was just as private and fenced in which meant the dog could run around freely. The lodge was warm and had has all you need for your stay. Hot tub was ready and waiting for us, don’t make my mistake and turn it off over night though as it takes some time to warm up. Nothing was too much of Cindy who lives on site and is always on the end of the phone. It was just a perfect weekend away from any tech and just perfectly peaceful. We shall be back

We loved our time here, surrounded by nature - and lovely isolated place for a reset. Hoping to come back at some point, possibly for a winter getaway. Everything was dead easy - parking, self check-in, location, lodge itself, just very easy and homely. Highly recommended.

Stayed with a group of friends - was fantastic, the gaming room, the pool, the garden/bbq areas, freshly cut football pitch. Only issue was one of the wifi routers didn’t work, but we worked around it.

Absolutely loved this little house gorgeous walks stunning views all around definitely would recomend if you like the outdoors peaceful and john was great with giving us little tips on our walks

Fabulous garden and location. Beautiful view from the sun room. Great pool, perfect temperature and very comfortable bed. All round lovely clean and quiet place.
