We stayed at Vidhu's place as a last minute plan to avoid the drive back home right after a long tiring day in Trivandrum. What started as an unplanned stay turned out to be the best part of our trip. The place was absolutely beautiful and every corner of the house was picture perfect. Vidhu was very responsive and guided us through everything we needed. The care taker Stephen was also a delight to chat with. The only negative bit was not having spent longer there. A must visit, highly recommended.

Our stay at this place was enjoyable. The rooms were clean .Mrs Santosh was very cooperative and made us feel at home very soon she served us with nice hot breakfast both days and tried her level best to make our stay very comfortable

I had a wonderful stay at Griffith's house! The room was peaceful, neat, and impeccably clean, making for a very comfortable experience. The host and his family were incredibly humble, warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. He was kind enough to drop me at my office the next morning, which was a thoughtful gesture. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast they served. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a homely and comfortable stay!

I came very early morning at 3:40 am. Before i communicated very good with Johny for a pickup at the lighthouse. This is the location most drivers know. When i left the airport to there i send an information about the exact time i arrive and in the middle of the night he was there to pick me up sharp in time. At the stay everything was as expected. Simple not for regular travelers, but for everyone with a backpacker history a bit luxury. The room was very clean, cleaner than in some other luxury resorts i saw so far. But the difference is the personal note, the plants, the signs and details everywhere you can notice wen you are there. Sure it is small , sure it it between the other buildings, sure you will see walls around.... but this all gets one step back when you open yourself and what you have there. A peaceful, secure retreat with one person you totally can rely on embedded in the backyard of Kovalam small hallways, very easy to reach, surrounded by palm trees and the ocean, good and healthy food everywhere. If in Kovalam, why go anywhere else than here.

Absolutely wonderful facility and very convenient. The host and caretaker are readily available to see to any needs tgat arise.

A clean and spacious place with amazing hospitality, suitable for families or solo travellers. It is suitably located in a residential area. The caretaker Matthew went out of his way to ensure I had a comfortable stay. Highly recommended if planning to stay in and around Trivandrum.

Villa Akasa beautifully reflects the thoughtfulness and hard work put in by Shama Aunty, Sidharth, Nakul, Raju and the entire staff in creating this perfect nook for beach lovers and homebodies like me. Loved the airy, well-lit room; spacious sit-out; elegant ponds lining the periphery of the rooms; the food (5-stars!) AND the fact that the lovely Papanasam beach is a mere 5 min walk away. The doggos have my heart! Sophie especially! Already planning another trip soon :) Wishing many many years of happy hosting to Villa Akasa folks!

My 9 year old son and I stayed here. My son was excited to stay in Muraleedharan sir's place after seeing the photos. The host's family members and his caretaker were friendly to us and we had a comfortable stay. The quality and taste of food was really nice and worth the price.

This place truly feels like paradise! It carries an incredible sense of serenity and beauty. The staff and the owner are exceptionally kind and always available to help, making you feel completely safe and cared for. The yoga classes are deeply moving, and the surrounding nature allows for a profound connection. If you're looking to experience the authentic, non-touristic side of India, this is the perfect place to stay. Nestled right by the backwaters, you can enjoy a refreshing swim, and just a minute’s walk across the road brings you to the sea. We really enjoyed our stay at Jayan‘s home. We were warmly welcomed and taken care of. We received great recommendations on how to explore the neighborhood/temple, where to eat, how to get a SIM card and how to organize our further travels. There are lot of antique objects to explore in the house (also from our hometown Vienna!) Jayan and his wife provided us a really comfortable and nice stay (and a delicious breakfast as well :)).

We spent three nights at Anita’s and felt right at home from the moment we arrived. We were shown to our room, which was a non-AC accommodation. However, its location ensured that it never became too hot. Anita’s is just a two-minute walk from the coastal area of Varkala and about a 10- to 15-minute walk to the town centre. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, as well as numerous yoga classes suitable for everyone, from complete beginners to those with more experience. Breakfast is available, and laundry services can be arranged for a fee.

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful oasis of peace and tranquility! Sharma had created such a special place here, and the staff, service and home cooked food were all exceptional. We extended our stay here and were so glad we did. The beauty of nature, smiling faces, delicious Indian breakfasts and dinners all combined to soothe and refresh our bodies and souls after weeks on the road. The location is excellent- very close to a beautiful beach and across the road from a good cafe and Ayurveda clinic where we got some great massages. Sid and Pramod were a great help- very chilled, friendly, great communicators and very helpful. Couldn’t recommend this stay highly enough!

My stay here was exactly what I needed to settle me into India as a first timer. I am truly grateful for everyone who works there and are very accommodating. Their kindness is beyond measure and my heart was very happy staying here, I would most definitely return and stay again. Thank you so much, I will miss it ❤️
