I recently enjoyed an extraordinary stay at a meticulously preserved traditional house that is a true 19th-century treasure. Every brick of this historic home narrates a story, reflecting the dedicated care and passion invested in its upkeep. The host, residing in Japan, is remarkably kind and responsive, ensuring every need is met with prompt attention. Equally impressive is the high-speed internet, surpassing 100 Mbps in a remote village setting, complemented by a state-of-the-art home theater and reliable power backup. Just minutes from the revered Konerirajapuram Temple, the location offers both cultural richness and modern convenience. Kumaresan, the exceptional caretaker, along with his wife, delivers culinary delights that rival the finest hotels, making guests feel like cherished family. Having traveled widely across India and abroad I can say this residence is the finest example of South Indian heritage and hospitality offering an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

Nizars Apartement kann ich unbedingt empfehlen! Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und von Grün umgeben, aber dennoch in fußläufig nächster Nähe zum Nataraja-Tempel, der zentralen Sehenswürdigkeit von Chidambaram. Das Apartment ist komplett frisch renoviert und entsprechend neuwertig und tadellos sauber ist alles. Die Räume sind angenehm geräumig und hell und auf der angrenzenden privaten Terrasse kann man mit einem schönen Ausblick in Ruhe entspannen. Die Gastgeber wohnen im selben Haus im Erdgeschoss und sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und geben gerne Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung. Für einen reibungslosen Check-In empfiehlt es sich unbedingt, telefonisch mit dem Gastgeber in Kontakt zu treten, da die Straßenführung und Hausnummerierung etwas kompliziert ist. Daher ist es hilfreich, wenn der Vermieter dem Taxifahrer genaue Angaben zur Adresse machen kann.

dans une belle villa, logement confortable avec grande terrasse dans un environnement arboré. Tout proche de la place et de la plage. Petits déjeuners pris sur place et repas très agréables chez Shankar et sa femme. seul bémol : les housses en plastique désagréables sur les matelas

Mr. Giriharan is a great host, very responsive and caring. He was very proactive too. He has a convenient and homely place to stay - very comfortable for a family and senior citizens. The place is close to the temple which makes commuting easy. We would love to stay with Mr. Giriharan, if visit Chidambaram again.

It is very nice, I liked it , can stay longer there, because Mt. Shankara from the Muid in Charge of the Location with His Family are so helpfully with every step you are asking, Mrs. Marina is nice talking too & a great cook, I never felt hungry to eat somewhere else, so quit & relaxing, you hear the Seashore Day & Night, no Disturbing on the Beach from Locals, the Museum good place to drink coffee after Sundown & talking with Mr . Shankara about Arts , History ,Culture…. I had a great Time, with regards from Harald , south of Munich – Germany

stayed here with family for a day, loved the serene environment and the rooms are very spacious and well maintained. caretaker was friendly and very helpful with arrangement of food to recommendation of nearby attraction to arranging transport facility. would definitely recommend this stay if you're traveling with family and friends. wip definitely visit again soon to stay more days.

Sai Homes was very peaceful, clean and comfortable. lt felt like being home. Hariharan the caretaker was very helpful. The place is maintained well and has kitchen and washing machine facilities that helped me for my week long stay. The beautiful garden, trees and bird songs are such gifts for a nature lover like me. Meenakshi mam was very prompt in responding to all my queries. The only drawback was that there were no food restaurants in walkable distance and I had to Swiggy on the days i couldn't cook. But I will come again to stay here when I visit Chidambaram. l thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sai homes!
