Thorayaya : locations de vacances

We stayed for a couple of days up the hill at Dilrukshi’s place. She had a kind family and we had the most amazing breakfast with her mum a couple of times. The room are nice and the beds are good. The hill is walking distance from the viewpoint but it still feels very serene, since it is at the very top of the hill. Dilrukshi is very good with kids too, our youngest one fell in love I think.

Anjana‘s family are very nice and friendly people! They always answered our questions and gave helpful recommendations (e.g. places to visit or apps to use, a local hospital). We also ordered several breakfasts and a dinner - both were very delicious and price was affordable. We felt like at home from the very first second. The room was very clean and spacious, the view from the terrace on the top floor was amazing and once a monkey came to visit us on our balcony. We only didn’t figure out if it’s possible to warm up water in shower, the rest worked perfectly. Would definitely come back and stay in the accommodation again.

Rakshita is a very good host and the apartment is very good everything was working perfectly. The place is very quiet a good place to relax.

This place delivered what was advertised. We stayed as a big group and occupied up the entire villa which gave us needed privacy. The cook / caretaker was the highlight of our stay. He made yummy Srilankan style meal based on our request. We will give him a menu with pictures previous night. Even though we didn't speak same language, the cook was a no non-sense person who was good at his job, made himself scarce when not needed and took care of everything. One of us fell sick with weather changes and he summoned some medication for us upon request even though the place is up a hilltop and 20kms away from any store. Caretaker went above and beyond and made our stay all the more worthwhile. The place was clean and Pubudu was on top of things to constantly improve the stay. Stargazing was as promised and we have astronomy enthusiasts in our group because of which it was such a treat to stay here.

My stay was absolutely fantastic! The property is nestled in a beautiful hill station, surrounded by stunning views that made my trip unforgettable. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, providing excellent local tips that made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Waking up to the serene landscape each morning was a highlight of my trip. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in nature. Can’t wait to come again.

Excellent séjour! La maison est très propre et fidèle à la description. La vue est incroyable, même si l'accès est difficile. Les gardiens sont gentils et discrets et leur cuisine est incroyable. Merci pour ce super séjour !

This is a very surprising accommodation. From the living room and kitchen to the yoga studio and bedroom, everything faces the valley. The scenery of the valley is particularly great. It is worth mentioni accommodation provides meals, which are made by Mark for us. His meals are all amazing, We think even better than in the hotel,Mark took us for several hours to explore this beautiful valley, passing through local villages and visiting temples dedicated to Buddha. MARK taught my daughter how to pick tea leaves and then took us to see how to make tea。Finally, we also had delicious Ceylon black tea on the mountaintop. All of this is so wonderful.Thank you MARK for taking us to explore the beauty of this valley and tasting Ceylon black tea. If there is still a chance, we would definitely choose to stay here for a few more nights, two nights is not enough at all. The feeling here is like coming home, it's too warm and wonderful. Our family will definitely come back to stay again.
