We only stayed for a single night as a layover for a connecting flight in Cochin. After having stayed for one night we realized we could have easily stayed for a week. The pictures make it justice but it is even more beautiful in reality. We felt very welcome immediately and got to meet the hosts as well as one of their children and a grandchild. They were so accommodating it almost felt like being part of family immediately. They were even up at 6AM to see us off for our flight. Jose also took us out on the river. To top it all off, the food was absolutely delicious and the pineapple they grow there was the best we’ve had.

We had a great stay.. her place was so good just lik in the picture.. People there was so helpful and friendly..we actually extended our stay because of the comfort ability and serene environment

We had the pleasure of staying with Deepu and his family whilst on our visit to kerala. From the minute we arrived Deepu and Christine made us feel so welcome and helped us so much . "The apartment was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. "Communication was seamless with the family . They invited us to meet friends and even go away to visit them on a trip we never would have experienced. I cannot put into words how special Deepu and Christine made our visit , Breakfast was absolutely beautiful and traditional I will certainly return. Thank you Deepu to you and your family and friends. I feel we arrived as guests but left as good friends . Highly recommend a visit to stay . A truly special experience made better by Deepu and his family whims on.

Peaceful, clean and very kind homestay. Healthy meals. Beautiful views. Kids friendly. Very knowledgable hosts. Daily yoga sessions before breakfast for our children. Nice tips for excursions around the area. Authentic experience, much better than what a resort can offer (however, day trips to the nearby resorts can also be arranged). Nothing we missed!

Our stay at Ocean whisper was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, Anish (our host)made us feel incredibly welcome with thoughtful touches and great recommendations for the area. The ambiance of the home was exactly what we were looking for warm, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Every little detail was carefully curated, making it a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. Whether it was the comfortable bedding, the charming lighting, or the peaceful outdoor space, everything contributed to an unforgettable stay. We would definitely return and highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway!

Beautiful 1950’s villa with a team of house staff led by Mr Cherian, who took care of everything including delivering amazing food from the sister hotel Eighth Bastion. Sumptuous breakfasts were provided at the hotel, or we could make our own with the provisions supplied (even our fussy 6 year old enjoyed the cornflakes and banana cake). Had a wonderful staycation, with daily music lessons at the Kerala Kathakali centre.

It was very great stat with good amenities. Overall it was the worth the money paid

Great hospitality and a nice place to stay, within the reach of City and Kochi Highway.

There are 3 rooms situated on the 1st floor, I had the chance to get the one with a big balcony facing the main street. It was extremely clean, nice and bright and its windows-doors had very useful mosquito screens. There was a comfortable double bed, a ceiling fan and aircon (really needed during my stay), a small desk and a little suspended ‘cupboard’ for the clothes and a modern beautiful private bathroom. There’s a fridge on the 1st floor that guests can use and of course, an available equipped kitchen. Very well located, the whole apartment is well thought (a recent construction), you notice that Colbridge and his wife Shalini care about their home stay business; they are a good team, pretty well organized working together. Colbridge, the brain of the hospitality services, sent me through whatsapp dozens of information related to history, places to visit and food. He is very knowledgeable (not only about Kochi) and it was good to exchange with him. Besides, he can help you to organize trips, call a tuk tuk and find solutions for your queries. Shalini is the heart of the place… she is welcoming, warm, intelligent and sweet, with a great sense of humour. A gifted cook, she prepares wonder ful breakfasts (Indian, European, American…), tailored to requests. I admired how she cared about guest’s well-being even when she was very busy. Shalini likes to exchange with her hosts and she gave me an unique opportunity to learn more about the culture. She is a very good company too, I will not forget all our laughters and hope to stay with them again. I fully recommend this place for your stay.

Joseph and his wife Nimy were so warm, friendly, helpful and attentive. They have a wonderful building that is quiet ( by urban India standards), yet 2 blocks from the center of Fort Cochin. There are about 10 rooms catering to a diverse international group of guests, Indians included. During our stay the people were fascinating - women in business, India’s top stand up comedian, a retired United Nations lawyer, a trainer teaching local women how to start their own small businesses, and a retired international development professional on a world jaunt. The morning breakfast was the best I’ve eaten at an Airbnb- wonderful fruit, fresh blended fruit juice, yogurt, cereal, a savory hot Indian dish, native blue pea tea, and more, all served on a covered rooftop. It is also close to the Biennale main venues. They were very helpful in arranging an interesting canoe trip in the backwaters, alerted us to a Puja, and helped with arranging transportation as needed. Fair price, good people.

Thank you so much for having us. It was our first accommodation during our first visit to India, and we definitely won’t forget it. The space is beautifully tranquil and relaxing, and in a great location to get a tuk tuk to explore fort Kochi. Hazel looked after us amazingly, and was always happy to help with a smile. The grounds were kept beautifully tidy. The breakfast every morning was amazing and fresh. Listening to the birds chirping and waves crashing on the beach behind while reading a book on a hammock is sheer perfection. Thank you to Sarath and Family for hosting us at such a stunning place.

It’s a simple stay with basic amenities which is worth the price, Sheeba is very responsive, friendly and upto the point. She also provided us Breakfast without any extra price which is very nice of her and also agreed to a small personal favour. I’d recommend this property to anyone who’s up for a budget friendly and looking for something which is near to prominent places as well!

A beach front view and quiet room with a terass is awaiting you. We recommand that place for those in search of peace full place.

Antonio was a gracious and kind host during our short stay. He helped us find good local restaurants, managed to get our laundry done, and was always prompt and responsive. He really helped us have a wonderful stay!

This is an airbnb with the true spirit of receiving guests. The hosts spend time talking to you and serve you a sumptuous breakfast everyday. The room is spacious, with air con and a large window. Location is perfect to walk down to the centre where most restaurants are but if walking in the heat is not your thing, there is always a tuk tuk in the corner that can take you anywhere. Internet works well. Definitively recommended.
