Very nice and peaceful place, very supportive and responsible host.

The place was really nice. The host was even nicer, helping us with whatever we needed and always available at all times. Very good place to stay for short visits.

I was on a business trip and opted this property through Airbnb. The location is good and it has all amenities mentioned in the add. Couple of grocery shops are near by ( at walkable distance) to purchase the households. Caretaker was available at property for any kind of help. Cleaning staff will come for cleaning on every day except Sundays. Host Mr. Arun is always accessible for any help needed. Will definitely opt this property in future.

If you want to enjoy backwater stay,this is the place to spend it with Family. It's very well maintained house even though it's built in early 2000's(not sure), it needs lot of time to maintain this big house. My kids and spouse enjoyed it away from your city traffic, I recommend for a people who have their 4 wheeler if you neeed to reach in the night. Google will show some short cut which is very narrow to reach upto main road. Explore the place, we enjoyed it.

so happy to be a part of nutmeg plantation stay. it was calm, pleasant and especially the environment very neat and the morning view was really good. about the host antony kattakayam, we have never experienced such a good behaviour and pleasant host before from anywhere. he was very sweet and surely recommend for everyone. the place is really worth the money

We initially had a little trouble finding the place. The map location on airbnb lead us to a different place (5-10 minutes away) and then we were on call with the host a few times to get proper directions. The house is as described. Value for money. Kitchen slab was a little dusty so we had to clean ourself otherwise everything worked out well.

“River House” is an ideal place for those who would like to reboot and recharge. The villa offers a charming village feel and tranquil atmosphere along a river front, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This Villa is tastefully refurbished retaining the Kerala style architecture with a minimalistic approach which makes the rooms look very spacious abd well ventilated. What makes even more special is the service and support provided by the well trained staff who always had a smile on them.

Rosslyn and Shaju went out of their way to help us get to the house from the airport. They even arranged transportation. At every step, Rosslyn and Shaju made sure i felt right at home. In this day and age where we drink RO water and deplete minerals from our body, i found the artesian well water rather refreshing. It felt like visiting my grandmothers home several decades ago when i drank the well water. Except that the place is really nice. you can get good healthy kerala meals nearby. There is a nice bakery also nearby.

If you are planning to stay in Kochi for work or for leisure this is a place you can book without blinking. Arun was super helpful since our arrival got over delayed due to TranzCars unprofessionalism. He responded on phone at midnight to make us comfortable in the house. He has a polite voice (Since I did not meet him) and politer man Friday Pranab who came up in no time to help us. The house itself was perfect for me and my family. Three bedrooms with attached bathrooms and spacious well lit dining and lounge area with a half bath attached to kitchen was more than what we could ask for. Arun's attention to detail is quite visible in his house. We thank him for making our stay the best ever in Kerala. Will stay there again for soon. Thank you once again Arun for everything.

The house was spacious and clean, just as shown in the photos. Arun was incredibly responsive and helpful with all our questions. Overall, a great place to stay—highly recommend!
